I read there 5 years ago 5 star reviews and thought wow they should be a great company. Trust worthy and reliable. I recently had a gentleman from their company come out to give us a quote and it's been almost 2 months with no reply. I leave messages on their answering machine. I've even sent emails. I wish I could give 5 stars but I don't know what they can do. I hope all is well with them but this is totally unprofessional. Maybe it's a good thing because the person that came out wasn't the nicest of guys either. Very short and snappy with me. I don't believe in being confrontational so I tap dance around the rudest people lol. They could be going through something so I don't judge. Well here's my honest opinion about this 5 star business. My one star isn't a reflection of their actual work because they are MIA. It's just the lowest you can choose.
We had a kitchen fire when my wife and I were at work, that caused considerable damage to the backside of our home. In trying to put out the fire, my kids were throwing buckets and containers of water on it that caused even more damage, so we ended up needing not only fire damage restoration but flood damage restoration as well. We called around to a few different home restoration companies but decided on Gilbertsen Enterprises as they have extensive experience in every field of construction and general contracting and we needed a lot - drywall repair, interior painting, new baseboard and molding and kitchen cabinet installation. They consistently arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and worked around our family. Our home looks better than ever and we just wanted to say another huge thanks.
We just had a really big storm come through Port Orchard so we called Gilbertsen Enterprises for all of the wind and storm damage repairs on our roof. We are lucky the big tree in our backyard didn't fall on our roof or it could have been a lot worse. Anyway, Einar and his team came out and took care of all the roofing repairs that same day. We have used them previously for other home improvements and home repairs too. They are excellent painting contractors and do a great job with wall textures and dry wall hanging and repairs too. We called them when we needed a patio builder and again when we wanted new wood flooring in our living areas. They never disappoint.
