What can I say about Payne Construction - In summary, what an absolute Great & Positive experience throughout the entire home lifting process! It all started with a visit from Geoff back in January 2024 to determine whether our home could be lifted 8 feet to avoid damages from future ocean storms. Within minutes, Geoff took a look at our home and said "We can lift this home no problem" and so the journey began. My wife and I cannot say enough great things about Geoff and Payne Construction. Geoff was/is not only so personal but was available to answer all questions and concerns related to Eng plans, approvals, permits, timelines etc..., just Outstanding Communication! The entire lifting process was just completed last week and wow, we could not be Happier. In the end, Geoff, Mike and the team at Payne Construction did a Fantastic job and we are just so Delighted with the overall finished product. I know there are several home lifting companies in our area but if you want the Best, forget the Rest and call Payne Construction! You will NOT be Disappointed.
On a schedule for a year called to let us know he was backed up 2 /weeks. ok we understood you get backed up !! . He called after 2 weeks said he can’t do the job . Has had a deposit for a year . I’ve restored homes for 30 years a house lift is a specialty profession not many out there ! could delay job for months house is completely disconnected from all services in preparation for the lift . He seemed to laugh it off!! very Bad Business morals . Be careful if you sign up with this company . We will see if the deposit is returned !!!
