Was very prompt and excellence. Didn’t have a problem getting then in and taking care of the problem, they even came in the evening. They were great to work with and would use again and recommend. Thanks guys !

I believe the communication could have been better at the start of the project. I then started getting weekly updates from Seyona Creger, which saved the project. She went beyond in her customer service and made the final project wonderful. The men that came out were professional and very helpful. I would recommend this company to do your restoration.

Had a sudden water incident in my house filed a claim with my insurance like anyone else would do and my insurance had Paul Davis restoration come out to mitigate any existing water, well they sure came out, but didn't do a thing except take pictures and leave nothing to my insurance that the small presence of mold would make the job uninsured and they left the job immediately leaving any standing water to affect all the other areas that need to be cleaned. The left over water has now cause even more issues with my insurance saying that saying it was pre-existing and all due to this company that didn't do a single thing they were called out to do. Iv add an image the mold they said they found and are saying it's from an on-going issue and in another image the damage that was left from them not doing their job.

My insurance company contacted them to contact me when I asked about a reliable company even though my roof leak and ceiling damage would probably not be covered. They assessed the problem, quickly resolved the roof issue prior to predicted wet weather. The bathroom ceiling was removed, insulation removed and new installed, and the ceiling repaired. it Wass done very efficiently and without drama. thanks.

This company has been terrible to deal with! It have been almost 4 months since they started our restoration from a flood! They will not respond to calls or texts and they promise to show up and don’t show! The workers for the company have broken numerous things in our home and the installation of everything has been low grade so far!! Very unhappy!

I would never trust Paul Davis to come within a mile of my home. The bathroom they "restored" is 100 times WORST than before they came to clean up the leaked toilet water, WAY WORST THAN TOILET WATER. They didn't paint the baseboards, they did not caulk ANYTHING IN THE BATHROOM, and they painted over some of the moldy Sheetrock instead of replacing it. The entire thing was in shambles within a year. As for their 2 year "warranty" - it is meaningless, no matter how many times you call you will be told you will get a call back and NEVER be called back. Use LITERALLY ANYONE else!

I should have read reviews - worst ever - Had Paul Davis replace a bad contractor only to get a worse contractor that being Paul Davis. They sent out a flooring contractor to re-sand our wood floor, they were fantastic. PD’s (Paul Davis) work consisted of moving furniture into a storage pod - they taped something to the top scratched - nicked and scuffed our fine dining room table. Morgan msg’d they’d replace or repair table. Sent a guy who stated the work was beyond his capabilities so I had another pro quote $4K - Morgan sourced another company but gave no info to them stated he was waiting to hear from them. I found this out when I contacted them and provided everything, they wanted to pick up leaf and experiment on it rather than strip and re-do.
Bottom line after 6 mo PD wants to be involved and they still haven’t finished basement - they somehow got insurance to pay, falsely claiming they completed work. PD’s only work was to do minimal work in basement - they threw out baseboards but claimed to have put them in garage.
Why would I let them stay involved when they don’t tell the truth? Can’t complete simple things and lie to insurance company. I have to hire another contractor to complete
Table was $6K back in ‘97 so we went w less expensive way to repair - this type of table is easily $8K now

We do not trust them - I’m a contractor and always journal and document everything. Important to keep emails, texts they’ll be important when seeking compensation.

An update to PD’s claim
1 - what written agreement pertaining to our table? Forward it to me - your office has the bid AND your own manager sent a message stating his bids were in the same price range - that’s all written in black and white.
2 - for your manager to try and collect the deductible of $1000 is so dishonest. PD was aware the deductible had been paid as per the emails from your office stating PD knew and acknowledged it was paid. Fortunately the Utah Insurance Commission has our backs AND our adjuster also confirmed our deductible is paid by the claim NOT per contractor and has been met.
I’ve never dealt with a contractor such as this - PUBLIC BEWARE document and journal like I did. I know I won’t see a written agreement pertaining to our dining room table because we’ve never signed anything. PD collected from the insurance and didn’t complete the work.
Don’t say you’ve credited over $2400 - you know where we stand and do not want PD involved with anything of ours.

Franky our project manager has been helpful with all of the process. He was super knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. Mitigation was quick and they were able to help us as much as possible with our insurance.

Dishonest, poor quality work, and paid for work that was never completed. Just consider your options when looking for a contractor, I would never recommend this organization or their leadership.

Nov 6, 2023 update: As you can see from the response from the owner (Brandon) in this thread, he is trying to cover his company's poor performance with excuses and shifted blame. So let me provide additional insight to those who read this.

I attempted to to have Paul Davis correct warranty work for over 1 year without success. The work is still not done and at this point will never be completed by them. His statement saying that they "tried", only occurred after they were served court papers, at which time it would have been inappropriate to conduct any work until the legal matter was resolved. The matter is yet to be resolved and because of the poor quality work exhibited up to this point and inability for Brandon's organization to be reliable and honest I have chosen to not have them complete any work regardless of their new found "willingness".

Again, my only purpose in writing this review is to provide warning of the poor business practices exhibited by the entire company, including the owner (as you can see here). So if you do choose to work with Paul Davis, please make sure you have definitive terms and conditions. However, because of the work I have seen them complete up to this point I would never recommend them, regardless of the price or terms. You'll end up redoing much of the work anyway.

UPDATE: They claim to have spoken to the property owner, who denied having left this review, and allegedly hired them to do the work!!! Um... I AM the sole property owner, and I ABSOLUTELY DID leave this review, and WOULD NEVER hired them, for ANY reason. I would have left a 0 star review, if I could have! Disgusting, unprofessional, unethical, immoral business!!

INITIAL REVIEW: They called me the morning after a fire at my property, and represented to me that they work with the fire department. I asked how that could be, since the fire department does not provide such services. After a few minutes of conversation, they admitted they are do not actually "WORK WITH" the fire department. They literally found my name and property information after looking at fire department records, and claimed to be with them so I would hire them to remediate the fire damage to my property. Maybe they are fabulous; I don't know. What I do know -- it leaves a really bad taste in my mouth when a business claims to be representing a municipal agency! Most people wouldn't question their representations, and it's awful they would take advantage of someone like that! Will I hire them? Absolutely not! I find their tactics to be unethical, and possibly even illegal. Shame on them for taking advantage of people who simply do not know any better! I'll be reporting them to the state consumer protection department.

Austin has been very attentive, kind and respectful to work with. He promptly returns phone calls and texts with answers to our questions. His priority has been to make sure all the work done has been to our satisfaction. He made us feel like we were his top priority! All the work done was great quality! We are happy with their services! I would hire them again if needed. I would make sure we get Austin to over see our project! He did a great job!

They did a good job cleaning on Friday 4/14 but never came back to finish what they said they would. They had to leave an air scrubber and dehumidifier in the bathroom and I was told they would come back to finish the job and pick them on Saturday or Monday. Nobody showed up or contacted me either days. I called on Thursday and they seemed to have no idea about it and had to wait again to have someone else contact me. Seems disorganized and unprofessional especially for people who rent and have to work with/through property management etc.

Paul Davis company replaced my carpet quickly and offered great communication the whole time so I wasnt wondering when the job would be done. Also was very quick at getting the job rolling!

No one likes to wake up to a pool of water on your carpet but that’s what happened on top of everything else life was handing me. I worked with Dalton at Paul Davis who was incredibly empathetic towards the disasters that can come from your home being damaged. Dalton was on top of getting my repairs done. I told him it would be great to have life back to normal for Christmas and he got it done! He was caring and even asked after my parent who was in the hospital. All the contractors who came and worked on our property were chosen with care and were incredibly professional. Thanks Dalton and Paul Davis.

Horrible company, stay away. They did a kitchen and bathroom remodel for my dad. The dishwasher doesn't work. The bathroom faucet leaks into the sink and from the drain. The guy will not respond to calls. He knows the problem is there but got his check and ran. Very unprofessional.

Great clean up crew, but you're better off hiring out your own contractors for repairs.
Communication at the beginning of the process was good and then declined throughout the months. I shouldn't have to be reaching out to a company for updates when they are being paid to do repairs or hire out themselves.

I used Paul Davis last year for water damage in my basement. They did an excellent job and were very responsive.

I had a large tree blow down on my porch, taking out a gutter & downspout. Roof damage TBD. They sent out a specialist to evaluate my claim ( Ins was to pay ). No ladder, took a couple of pictures from the sidewalk and left. The office almost immediately emailed a bill for a 1k deductable against the repair. No estimate. I told them I had already paid my deductible when I had the tree removed. Long story short : they wanted $674 for the repair which was fine. But 3 weeks later they were still trying to schedule a contractor for my job. Aren't they the contractor ? You watch their commercials and they look like the cavalry coming to your rescue. I found my own company to do the repair. Paid $450. Had it completed from phone call to finished in under a week. That figure also included cleaning all my gutters.
Will never do business w this company.

BEWARE! The good thing about this company is that they showed up quickly to start cleaning top the mess. They were kind and professional. That is it!

Th big problems began when they started to over-estimate the damage and scope of work that needed to be done. It is safe to say that the more they rip out- the more they get paid. If their proposal seems to be a bit aggressive please get a second opinion. Our second option saved us months of construction work and tens of thousands of dollars (for the insurance company).

We have been dealing with this company for two months now with no end in sight. Gary is over our project and straight up ignores our call/text. He reads them and never replies. This was a small flood that shouldn’t have taken more than a couple weeks to fix. The guys don’t show up when scheduled or they cancel. They have dragged this job far to long. The quality of their work is so very poor! Paint is very patchy and they didn’t tape anything off to do a decent job. They do the bare minimal. They’ve put holes in our walls, used our garage for more than a week for painting baseboards. Ruined our carpet with paint and rips. That we are stuck paying for out of pocket. They only care about getting as much money they can while cheating us out of Quality work. I will never recommend this company. This has been the most frustrating company I have ever had to deal with. Please save your time and money and look elsewhere!

Paul Davis Restoration was not reliable at all. They have been so terrible and quite frankly lazy when it comes to communication, or trying to schedule projects. I felt like I had to beg for status updates on my project, I was constantly calling them. They would tell me one day that their team would be here the next day to get everything done, and then I would make arrangements (send my dog to a day care as I work from home and he would bark if he heard anyone outside) and then I would be waiting for hours and not hear anything from them at all. Finally I would call to ask where they are and they said they had to cancel but no one let me know that no one would be showing up. After rescheduling with me 11 different times last minute, costing me over $1000 in fees to get pet sitters, I would never recommend this company to anyone. This experience was truly upsetting as I was constantly having to accommodate their last minute schedule changes. On top of that, they used the wrong material and I had to get the work redone anyway.

Brandon and Jill at Paul Davis make an AMAZING team! Jill is our rep who is so on top of it! She goes above and beyond to communicate with us and keep us all in the loop. Brandon is a man of his word! This is so hard to find in aspect of life these days. He communicates, and follows through with EVERYTHING that he promises. The men that did the work (sorry, I didn't get their names), did a phenomenal job and were one day ahead of schedule. The final results were better than expected. We will be using them whenever we can. Thank you guys for everything!

Won’t give you a bid until you sign a work authorization. I wanted to bid multiple contractors and instead of a quote, they asked me for my deductible as if they were an insurance agency. I never signed a work authorization and yet they sent me a bill and refused to send me a quote. What am I being billed for? I don’t even know because I don’t have a quote nor did they do any work. Paul Davis wants to secure your business blindly. I don’t think this is an honest business practice. I don’t recommend.

I had a moderate water damage in my kitchen and laundry room and Paul Davis came out and assisted in the water clean up. They were great with communicating each step of the way, I would as for Johnathan Hernandez to be your coordinator, he is amazing!
They did not do the remodel because they were booked out two months, I hired a local contractor for the rebuild. But highly recommend for water restoration.

I did some work for one of the owners not a cool guy very "im better than you" thing going on and doesnt like to pay fairly. I dont know if that's how the company operates but i was not impressed

The water mitigation team has been excellent. They were prompt, thorough, and profession. Moving forward, I've met with a couple of reconstruction people and was very impressed. My only comment is that my insurance company kept contacting me to say they hadn't yet received invoices, photos, estimates, etc.

We had a small flood in our home. The clean up was quick and they did a good job. One person that came to check on our drying accidentally pulled off some trim and baseboard that didn’t need to be removed. I was assured that it would be taken care of and they apologized.
The rebuild crew however weren’t as good. When I said we wouldn't be hiring them to do the rebuild it was obvious it was all about the money and not taking care of the customer. I found out they billed my insurance for the mistake they made. Then told that I had the money so they wouldn’t be fixing it. I was very disappointed in the situation and definitely wouldn’t recommend them.

Even though it was such a hard, difficult time and situation for me. Jonathan was such an amazing carrying understanding person and talked me through everything and answered all my questions and also even repeat anything I may have forgotten. Jonathan is most definitely an asset to this company. I was very impressed with the professionalism of Paul Davis Restoration! I can't forget about Andres who also helped Jonathan he was so patient and understand just like Jonathan. Thank you, guys, for everything! Be Blessed!

Andrew was amazing at making me feel comfortable thru the whole process and educated me at what he was doing as he was putting out the equipment to dry out my property due to a water leak. This company has some pretty cool tools as well to find where their is moisture. Really wish my plumber has this so he didn’t have to cut so many holes in the wall/ceiling to find where where the initial leak was.

We had an emergency leak at our condominium complex and Paul Davis did not hesitate. They where out within a couple of hours to cut through a 1 inch concrete ceiling in the covered parking area so our plumbers could access the broken hot water supply line. Strongly recommend Paul Davis.

Paul Davis worked very diligently to get our home put back together after a water leak and mold. They were fast, friendly and clean.

Rick and his team actually listened to my concerns, made suggestions I never thought of.
Always called before arriving, informed me of every step of the process and made me feel like they care about my home as much as I do.

Worked very quickly and kept in contact daily. My only concern was being charged for ripping out padding and desposing of it, which was done by family, not company.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of Paul Davis Restoration. They were excellent at communicating with me, answering my questions, and giving me frequent updates on their progress. I was very satisfied with the work they did too. I highly recommend them!

I had some slight water damage in my house due to the corner of our window not being properly sealed. I tried a few other companies to come out, but ultimately couldn’t really get anyone out to take a look at the job. Finally, Paul Davis agreed to take a look and do the job.

The staff was nice and easy to work with. They showed up when they said they would, which I appreciated. However, the initial bid that I received wasn’t for the whole job. It was just for the mitigation part. I agreed to the bid thinking that it included everything, including rebuilding what they tore out. The bid did not include the reconstruction part. That is a separate team and a separate bid. I don’t feel like that was very well communicated. I’m frustrated because the reconstruction team hasn’t been as responsive and now I’m sitting with a good size portion of my wall torn off.

Overall, I wouldn’t go with them again. I would choose a company that plans on doing everything from start to finish and includes the reconstruction part in their bid.

Quick response for a flooded townhome. Addressed all issues in the townhome affected as well as the 2 adjoining townhomes. Professional and thorough response. Very pleased with this company.

The workers were professional and accommodating. The work was good and the company was very helpful when we had product matching questions weeks after the job was finished.

After a leaking water heater destroyed some walls and carpet, Paul Davis came in and restored things to look even better than before. I’m so glad my insurance company, Liberty Mutual, recommended them.

A long road but it was handled professionally and the end result is beautiful! We are very happy with the restoration service we received and would definitely call Paul Davis first next time.

They demolished a basement bathroom for me. The process was seamless, they had quick responses, professional and helpful teams, they talked through the process and options with me, had fast availability, they made shockingly little mess for a demo project and cleaned up their work site well, and I got a great price. I would definitely recommend Paul Davis and have them back for future projects.

Would not recommend at all. Everything about this company was terrible. Terrible sheet rock, terrible painting, terrible communication, and our "project manager" was the worst of them all. After the project manager saw all of the mistakes that were made, he promised that they would tear everything down and redo it (it was that bad) but that never happened, instead they just painted over everything (without sanding first and which still looks terrible) and said that was it. 4 months and thousands of dollars later and everything looks worse then it did before the flood. Definitely find a better company, one whose quality of work actually matches the insane amount they charge.

I can only speak to the professionalism and responsiveness of the team so far, and it's been exceptional! They were quick to get the water damage under control and always kept me in the loop. They would call/text prior to coming and were within minutes of the timelines they gave me for arriving at the house. Kinda unreal to see this in todays world of generally poor customer care (Except for Chick-fil-e of course, they are a very close 2nd to Paul Davis). We are waiting now on the insurance adjusters...so Good Quality and Good Value are yet to be seen.

PD did a fast thorough job with the water mitigation side of things. But when it came time to do the restoration, it felt like to us that they were dragging their feet. Ultimately they rejected doing the job altogether because we did the floor ourselves, and we were having someone else do the kitchen cabinets. We wanted the cabinets of our choice, not the ones that they were offering.

We all have bad luck, but mine was on a different level. With THREE feet of water in my basement I didn't know where to turn. Luckily, I found the Gentleman at Paul Davis (Sandy). They were quick to respond and made me feel better about my situation right away. They had a army of men ready to fix my misfortunes in a blink of an eye! They kept me up to date with any and new information as work was completed. So, trust me when I say don't look any further when it comes to your restoration needs. I would recommend them for any job big or small. Thank you Paul Davis!!

Finding a trustworthy contractor can be a very difficult task. There are always questions like, "Will the quality of work be adequate?", Or "is this company over charging me?" I had the same questions when my insurance company referred me to Paul Davis. However, I am happy to report that not only were my expectations met, but Paul Davis restoration went above and beyond what any company should be expected to do. The contractor was extremely professional and kind and did a great job. On the back end, their customer service knocked it out of the park when a bump in the road came up.
My family and I are very grateful for the hard work that the Paul Davis restoration team did for us and highly recommend them!

My insurance company recommended using them and I have been very frustrated and disappointed with the service provided thus far. My house flooded and the demo was quick but then I waited nearly 3 weeks for someone to come begin the repairs. They show up unannounced, without wearing face coverings (COVID) and have failed to communicate any sort of timeline or schedule. My house, including furniture and dishes are covered in dust and mud from the Sheetrock due to their lack of consistently using drop cloths as covers. As of right now, I would not recommend this company.

This company was recommended from our insurance company (along with 2 others). We chose Paul Davis based upon online reviews. Response was quick, they communicated with our insurance the whole way through, recommended a plumber, etc. They were respectful t wear masks due to COVID-19 concerns for us. I'm excited to see how the repair side will do!

Outstanding service. My aunt's house flooded when a pipe broke on a Sunday night, and Paul Davis was on site first thing Monday morning. They were efficient, professional, and helped her to get her home back to beautiful condition faster than we expected. Would highly recommend.
