We recently had sewage in our basement. Between all of the different people/companies we had to deal with, Panhandles employees were the only ones who were kind. They came out quickly in the night. The guys who showed up were so friendly and helpful. The people I spoke with in the office were sooo kind!! They were understanding of our situation and willing to help in whatever ways they could. Truly the only positive thing in something so terrible was Panhandle.

After a furnace fire left smoke damage throughout our home, Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration stepped in immediately. I called them the night of the fire, and they returned my call right away, sending someone out the next day to assess the damage and sending the team over to get to work the following day. They scrubbed every room, scrubbed carpets, cleaned ducts, repainted walls, and packed all our belongings for deep cleaning. Everything came back perfectly packed, spotless, and undamaged. Let's say they went above and beyond.

I can’t say enough about every person I spoke with and everyone who was in my home. They were all kind, professional, and genuinely cared about making things right. They answered every question promptly, whether by text or call, and made a stressful time so much easier. If you need restoration services, Panhandle is the team to call.

Excellent staff and friendly service.
However, my complaint, is that it took three months to complete the hour long job. Further, the charge for the work done was very high and what i consider, excessive.

We went with Panhandle for duct cleaning and carpet/pews cleaning for our church. Very pleased with the quickness on scheduling and workmanship. We will use them again.

We were dealing with serious water damage from 12 years of doors and windows being installed improperly. Everyone else that we had called wouldn't touch the project. We contacted panhandle and Willie promptly came out. He hooked us up with Brad as our project manager. Brad is a perfectionist that will make sure everything in your home is fixed properly and well. He and his team were very meticulous and tried their best to keep our elaborate work that we had done for our ceiling intact. They even went as far as thinking of some great ideas to make things look better than before. We're so happy with their work and how they helped our home look beautiful again!

The outcome of the service I received was greater than expected. My Floors and bathroom look great. Workers are very well educated in the work they provide. Only issue I had was one worker who was fairly new to job kept leaving gate open and my dogs got loose several times. I would definitely recommend them for any issues and will probably use them in the future.

Panhandle does not just clean and restore, they actually build anew. I wanted to get three estimates on a large flooring project for our home.
Steve Ellish, from Panhandle, blew away the other two. Panhandle had the product and the people to get our job done.
Steve coordinated the floor, new countertops, electrical, a new window, painting, cleaning and debris removal.
Tina brought in a crew of cleaners that absolutely amazed us with their enthusiasm and thoroughness.

Chad is a liar. He never even returned my phone calls for almost a year. I started texting his cell phone and that was the only way I started getting any responses. He took over a year to get my little box of belongings back to me then wouldn't even give me a single dollar discount for my wait after telling me that he would. I had to make the delivery drivers stand there with me for a half hour before the owner himself finally agreed to $50 off. The worst part is it was clear that Chad does this all the time to customers and the owner doesn't really care.

I had 2 guys from the Wheeling office come cleanup my bedroom after a tragic incident occurred. The two guys were very unprofessional! I even heard them in there laughing. The supervisor told me they would ask me before they threw anything away that wasn’t cloth materials. They did not ask me. I was told they would put there yellow suits on inside and take them off before walking outside, they did not do that either. They were outside walking around in there yellow suits in my driveway. They were supposed to clean the carpet and if they couldn’t clean it they were suppose to cut the piece of carpet. I just found 4 spots on the carpet. They threw away items that cannot be replaced! I do not recommend this so called company.

Panhandle was prompt, did great work on the restoration, great job packing and labelling my personal belongings, and they always communicated well with me regarding the schedule and insurance issues. I can breathe a sign of relief now that the garage is clean, there is no trace of smoke, and all my salvable belongings are back. I will recommend Panhandle to any of my family and friends unfortunate enough to need cleaning and restoration services.

Super nice and professional team took the time to explain the tile waxing and restoration process,.
They came in, and I went out for the day. When I came home, I could see my reflection in the tiles. Very pleased.

Discovers some mold behind my base boards when I returned from vacation. Called panhandle the next day and they had an estimate for me. Another day later and my problems were solved. From the estimate, to the containment, to the removal of mold found in my basement, everything was handled efficiently and professionally. Will undoubtedly use them again if the need arises.

I got my drier vents cleaned for a reasonable price. The employees also gave suggestions for our new house, which I appreciated. It was easy to book and I got on the schedule quickly! Will use again to get other cleaning services done in our new house!

This is a clean and friendly place of business from the moment you get welcomed into the office to speaking with the owners of the company everything was professional and a complete pleasure!

Caught these people dumping directly into the storm drains in our community.
So this company is pretty terrible with regards to their respect for the communities in which they are booked to do business and the environment and generally everything. Tap water can't even be dumped into the storm drains due to the chemical content. The only thing that's supposed to go down a storm drain is rainwater. Panhandle makes a habit of coming to the Hillcrest plaza by Community Market and dumping their tanks into our storm drains.

Used panhandle to remove and clean black mold. We discussed an exhaust fan install. No exhaust was installed. As for the mold, they cleaned the walls, then repainted. It looked and smelled very clean for about 3 weeks. The mold was back in less than a month and eventually worsened.

Roger Barker did a great job painting and also replacing a drop ceiling The two men sent for mitigation worked quickly and professionally Tom and Dave were very attentive to detail

tl;dr: AVOID unless you have no other options. It took over a year to have damage repair fully completed, including referring me to a suspicious law firm for collections DESPITE Panhandle repeatedly failing to send me an invoice as requested. See my story below...

Panhandle did my emergency board up after a car drove into the side of my house. After speaking with one of their General Managers further, I decided to use them to complete the repairs of interior and exterior damage. The work was good when they showed up, but over the months-long project I do not think there were 5 straight days of work without having the workers pulled away to another emergency project. Even though the accident occurred in August 2020, the work did not start until November of 2020 (which was partially due to insurance delays as well), but this meant that I entered the Western Pennsylvania winter with a large uninsulated wall in my house. Ultimately, the interior work was eventually completed when workers were not being pulled to work on other jobs.

I had also worked with them to not only repair the damaged exterior but to replace the siding for the entire house as it would not have been possible to match the old T1-11 paneling in the damaged area alone. Due to pandemic supply chain issues, it took multiple months for the siding to become available. The siding was finally available in June of 2021 but the siding work wasn't fully completed until September 2021. This included weeks where no work was done at all while having piles of debris stacked in my yard.

I had originally deleted this review, but in January 2022, Panhandle contacted me for the rest of the payment for the siding work for which I had never received a bill. After a couple of months going back-and-forth with them, in March of 2022 I finally received an emailed copy of the invoice, which made it clear that they had been sending the invoice to the wrong name and address for the past 6 months. I then started receiving communications from a scammy-seeming legal firm Texas asking for an additional $6k in fees in addition to the ~$6k that was owed to Panhandle. I paid the amount to Panhandle and was told they would take care of this legal firm (which seems to be used to pressure people into paying by sending emails claiming to CC law firms in my county for which I could find no other records).

I had an issue, called and within the hour Travis K. and Dan P. were on property. Travis and Dan were excellent, extremely professional and detail oriented. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Panhandle cleaning.

Vince M came to assess a leak in our ceiling today. He was on time, professional, provided great communication, and pleasant to have in our home. Would recommend!

We had water damage and mold growth from a cracked pipe in the condominium above ours. This was especially troubling because the unit had been purchased only 14 days before this incident occurred. Zach and his crew responded promptly, tested the immediate area involved, isolated the space, carefully removed the affected drywall, and began the process of dehumidifying and scrubbing the air for any remaining spores. We are now initiating the restoration of the space to what it was before the incident. The professionalism, courtesy, and especially the attention to detail has been well above our expectations. We would immediately call on Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration if we ever had a similar problem again

The technicians were on time snd finished in a acceptable amount of time. Cleaning was thorough. Replaced furniture and were very pleasant! Thank you for your services. We will surely call again.

We have used Panhandle’s restoration services on several occasions. They were prompt and professional and we were highly satisfied with their work.

There was flooding in my neighborhood for the first time and once the water was gone, I wasn’t sure how the water effected my walls. I spoke with Josh and a Panhandle crew came over and sprayed the walls so that I no longer had to worry about mold growing. Professional, timely and also such a relief having professionals sign off that my house was safe for me and my family.

I always call Panhandle to clean my carpets. The men are always friendly and courteous. Shane has cleaned my carpets several times and I always appreciate the good job that he does.

They also did the reconstruction after the damage. Roger Barker did a great job with the construction and painting. This company was also instrumental in finding us a plumber to fix the problem. Would highly recommend them.

A family members house was damaged due to a fire. While Panhandle did work with the insurance co to agree to basically gut the entire structure the rest was a joke. Communication was terrible, days went by with no work being done. Timelines were not met. The flooring was installed in the wrong direction, the drywall men ran out of supplies and we had to go buy it so they could finish.Then they threw away entire sheets if drywall. Then realized what a bad job they did. Panhandle had to send their own guys back to re do all the window casings. Will say that the gentleman that installed the siding was very good. The rest was a mess. Local contractor picked up where Panhandle dropped the ball. Then Panhandle wanted to bill for thousands if dollars for things that they admitted that they didn't do. They admitted that some things were not done and removed the items from the bill but refused to remove the amount that was charged for overhead and labor on those items. We did a lot of the work ourselves and they still wanted to charge for some of those things. Spoke to the owner and he was no help. Said they should be paid those thousands of dollars for dealing with the insurance company! I waited several months before commenting because I was so frustrated over this entire event. I do still have the contract and can show what work they did not complete but still wanted to charge for.
