William was very knowledgeable about the roofing products he sold. He was friendly and patient with me while explaining where different trims go for a DIY project I'm doing. Would do business again.

Stopped in there today Aug 21 around 1:30 looking for some custom steel material, charcoal gray steel J-channel for PBR panels. The guy behind the counter with the beard was extremely rude and unhelpful. While explaining my situation, the staff member interrupted me multiple times in the middle of my sentences. It's not good business practices to interrupt your potential customer. It was like he was very antsy to tell me no because he didn't want to put in the extra leg work to coordinate with the Lehi branch because the Logan location isn't equipped for what I needed. I know I'm not a regular customer, and don't install steel paneling on projects all the time. But occasionally we accommodate certain customers with my business when they need help. Walking in there, I was highly considering getting the whole order from Metal Mart. I was needing over 100 sticks of the j channel. My project would have also included 38 panels of the PBR panel. I got very frustrated quickly talking to this staff member. I mean I'm not a regular customer so I didn't quite know what their capabilities were at this location and asking a couple questions about that seemed to have insulted this staff member. There was a "No we don't do that." And then the next answer was "we don't do that in that color." And then towards the end of the conversation it's "yes we can do that but it will take longer to get." Would have been nice to say "yeah we can do that but we have to transfer it in from Lehi and this is the usual lead time" at the beginning of the conversation. It took me multiple questions to even get the right answer. At this point, the customer service from the staff member was so terrible. I decided any attempt to order anything from this place was just going to be a nightmare. You could tell the staff member hates his job and doesn't want to help customers. Or he is just plain lazy. The 20 years being in the construction industry, this is definitely one of the worst experiences I had at one of these suppliers. I do not plan on ever setting foot in this business again after this experience.

Very affordable...I did a price bid of metal mart in Logan and metal supper market in ogden on the same day the same metal. Metal Mart had them beat by $150. Also, when I call to order the answer, I am calling me by name. I'll get my metal from Metal Mart

They have a lot good stuff. You need to know what you're looking for. I found what I needed to make a fender for a motorcycle.

My go to for all metal needs. Friendly staff, competitive prices and convenient location. Metal mart has been a partner through many many projects!

Great customer service. Extremely friendly staff. I use them often and they are always willing to help me with anything i need.

Gave us a quote over the phone, then come to find out the price was totally different when what they quoted us. Almost double. They do not have much in stock at all so you have to wait for orders to come… which is fine sometimes that’s just what happens (but it just didn’t make the experience better by any means). Make sure and check what they load you up with because it may be the entirely wrong material. Good thing my husband knows his materials. Not a great experience.

Great place for any metal needs you may need. Employees are great and helpful and they know what's going on and are very safety conscious

To say they are a joke to work with would be kind. At first everything seemed great they took our order (we built a rather large shed, so we ordered red roofing for it) They told us it would be here by the following Thursday and would be cut and ready on Friday for us. It was not. We went in on the following Monday to check on our order and the guy was very rude and annoyed and basically right away just said that they could refund my money, this shocked me and I said that we still need our order, he then said I don’t know what to tell you. I called my husband and had him come down from work. When he went in they still acted annoyed but started to work with him. And said they could have it by Friday all cut and ready to go, we said great. My husband stopped by when he got off work and they said that the truck hadn’t come in yet and they would call us. They never did. We showed up Saturday at 12:02 (they close at 12:00 but the door was open and they were still there,) my husband went in and they automatically said we’re closed, he asked if they had his order and they were very rude and said that they didn’t know who he was (even though he was in there the day before) and said that they are closed and wouldn’t help him. We hadn’t heard from them and they emphasized that they would call when it was available, we hadn’t heard from them so we came back on the following Thursday just to check if they had our order and they did and then acted like it was our fault for not picking it up sooner because it was ready but they never called. There are other businesses in Cache Valley that you can go through, which we did afterwards because they didn’t sell us enough screws so we got those from ABC roofing and they were very nice and then it turned out we needed flashing and we got that from Mountain Peak who were very nice and welcoming and had our order the next morning. The only redeeming quality was the The guy that helped load our order onto our trailer, He was very nice and professional. He should get a raise, and probably be at front counter to teach the others how to run a business and be respectful to customers. If they don’t want peoples business, their doors shouldn’t be open to the public.

Every time I call them they tell me they're busy, or they want to double check that they have the material, and they'll call me right back but they never do. I usually give them a day or so before I call them back because I understand things can get busy but I have had to call them back 3 different times within about a week span trying to order stuff and still haven't gotten it ordered. And if you have them cut things for you good luck. You may show up only to figure out they forgot to do it and then you have to wait for them to cut it. Unfortunately in the Logan area there's not really another option for most steel products so this is what we get.

Great customer service. Quick to put my order together and get me loaded. Will be back for my future projects

Horrible customer service
After buying from Metalmart almost exclusively for over 20 years. I’m now shopping elsewhere. The Logan store has ruined me. Finally got someone on the phone after 3 weeks of them not returning a message. I put my order on will call so it would be ready when I got there. Went out to load and found out their inventory was wrong and I had to wait for them to cut my order. If it was pulled before I got there like I asked this wouldn’t have been a problem. This experience is the final straw. I can get metal delivered from SouthCo out of Idaho Falls. They’ll get my business now

A word to the wise: Never buy metal at Home Depot or Lowe's. MetalMart is the place!

I needed to build a handrail. The clerk was extremely helpful, helping me select a handrail piece as well as attachment hardware. My mind had been boggled about this project, but MetalMart staff made the project a reality, and at a far lower cost than what I was finding online.

Staff was very professional and polite. The facilities were clean and the store was incredibly neat and organized well. Will absolutely come back.

Very helpful and courteous. Even though I was doing a small project, they were attentive and cut my roofing exactly to size.

I brought a peice of tin into Metalmart to have it matched and the employee brought out a peice of paper with colors on it. The employee directed me to the color that looked the closest because that was the color I needed. It looked close enough and I ordered over a thousand dollars worth of tin trusting the employee knew what they were doing. When I got the tin it was not the right color. I went back and told them about my issue. A different employee got out tin samples and we found the right match in seconds. And Metalmart had matched the tin wrong!!! Why would they have used the paper to match my tin instead of the tin samples? I then asked them if they could fix their mistake of matching my tin wrong. They then told me they could not fix their $2000 mistake and that I would have to take the blame. I then asked if they could at least replace two of the smaller trim peices. That would be the most noticeable on the tin I was replacing. They told me that since it was a custom order they couldn't do anything. What a horrible way to do business and they have horrible customer service.

These guys go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Extremely polite and very efficient in what they do! I highly recommend them for any metal needs!!!

Great service and convenient. They were very busy when I stopped in, but I think they did a good job of helping everyone quickly. Fair pricing, but the best part was I could get what I needed right away. Will definitely return.

I ordered $1,500.00 of metal that needed to be cut special. I wanted to pay 1/2 in cash and the rest when I picked it up. They insisted on all up front because they figured that I would leave my $750.00 there for them to keep and stiff them for the rest. I did not want to use a credit card. They were very rude and I walked away determined to never go back!

I love this place. Cheaper and more professional than ipaco. It's a lot easier to find the metal I need. Great people.

Great place to come get supplies for your home or buisness, since i started my buisness I have been coming here and nothing but great service. It's hard to get through the phone line some times cause there so busy helping other people but if there busy I guess that's a good indication that alit of people like this place just as much as I do. I want a ogden store to open. Tarren and Gabby are awesome people that are quick to get what you need in the store or on the phone.

Stopped in early Saturday morning to pick up some small sections of plate steel for a house remodel project. Associate was helpful in getting what I needed, and suggested a few alternatives that may have been better for the project (already had holes punched). Prices were fair (not that I buy steel very often though). Also had a discount rack available with a good selection of various sizes and thicknesses of steel. Their website has a decent list of items offered. I plan on stopping in again for future projects.

Bought some roofing for my barn there. Gabby was extremely helpful. I will go there again next time I need metal!

Went in looking for O100 (tool steel) they didn't have it in stock so I asked if they could order it. I was told that they could not, tool steel is too hard to get. They should drop the name metalmart and rename themselves the sidingmart, because that's mostly what they supply. Good thing Ipaco had the tool steel that I needed, I guess that its not that hard to get after all.
