If I could give this company less stars I would!!

We met this company at the Pittsburgh home and garden show. The salesman comes to the house and with some but not a lot of pressure we agree to 8 new windows. The company rescheduled 3 times before someone even came to the house. The salesman had been very adamant said that it would only take 1 day to do the work for 8 windows. The guy finally comes to our house and says that he doesn't have 1 of the windows and he's not going to park in the back and walk through our small yard and says he'll be back tomorrow. The next day he comes and installed the windows and leaves at noon!! The job was no where near finished!! Saying he'll be back that weekend. After hearing excuse after excuse on why he couldn't come and finish the job I called the company. I received no call back. I emailed the company. No response. I finally after making about 20 calls to the company I got ahold of someone (they said they were having problems with the phone lines). The manager came here and looked at the job. He said that he fired the guy that was doing our job and that he would send someone else out. About a month later I look and someone is in my window. I received no phone call and the guy didn't even knock on the door to tell me he was here! But he did finish the job. The job was definitely not done to the standards that we paid thousands of dollars for. It was also not worth the headaches or the stress that this company put us through. It took almost 2 months to get a job done that the sales rep said would take 1 day!! My advise DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Oh and we received absolutely no refund or discount for this.

We hired them to replace the bathtub/shower and surround.

Pros:
- Nearly everyone we spoke to was courteous and friendly, including the workers in our home
- They were very accommodating when we needed to change the start date of our project
- They added insulation in our bathroom walls free of charge when they noticed that we had none during demolition

Cons:
- We were given several different estimates on the timeframe of our project. "2 days and a half days" turned into "1 and a half days", which turned into "1 day", which in reality was 3 full days (8+hrs) and 2 more days over the next 2 weeks to repair problems they caused
- The original salesman strongly implied that their workers were their own employees, but it was clear on day 1 that they were sub-contracting (and sub-sub-contracting). Not a huge issue, but felt dishonest.
- Workers tested the bathtub for water seal, but not the shower. After they left, we ran the shower and had water leaking through the kitchen ceiling below the bathroom.
- Workers left the ceiling above the tub rough and unfinished (needed to be sanded and painted). We asked them to come back to finish the work, which took an additional 2 days over the next 2 weeks, whenever they could fit us in. And it still isn't completely finished, but at this point we're not interested in asking anyone else to come out and will finish it ourselves.
- The install was 4 pieces (tub and 3 walls) and is not level. There are uneven gaps between the pieces, and we can feel air movement from behind the tub through these gaps.
- Our project manager only came to the house once, on day 2, before work was completed. No one followed up (in person or over the phone) after the workers came back to fix the leak and unfinished ceiling.

So a friend of mine wanted a new bath tub installed... They came in July and has not bothered getting back with her...she has called them on several occasions...they have even left this huge tub in her front yard for months... I would never recommend them to anyone... Same with the time lenght... Was here in July... Heard nothing Aug, Sept, Oct, finally she called them in Nov. They said next week...and another month passed... So this is Jan 4 2019 and still waiting for her money back and this tub out her front yard... If you got the time... They got ur money... Unsatisfied customer...

I would highly recommend Omega! They replaced all 24 windows in our house, and while it took several days to complete such a large job their installers were very attentive to detail and did an outstanding job of cleaning up after themselves each night. The lead installer brought a couple small issues to my attention immediately or remedied them himself rather than leaving them for me to find on my own (one window was manufactured with a crooked grille in between the glass, so he ordered a new window before I even had a chance to say anything). Our experience with the other Omega staff was similarly smooth and I will use Omega again for future home improvement needs.

I would have given Omega a 5 star review had their customer service done their job.
The Salesman who came to the house was very nice, and explained everything we needed to know. We felt at ease making the choice to go with this company. We gave the down payment and in 3 days someone was out to measure the windows. We were told approximately 6 to 8 weeks the windows would be in and ready to install. 6 weeks passed and no calls, no emails no communicate at all.
7 weeks passed and I finally called and asked about when were the windows coming in. I was told they should be in the end of that week, making that the 8th week.
9 weeks no phone call , nothing...
11 weeks, my husband called and they told him we'd get a call the following week to confirm installation.
Week 12 we get the date for installation.
Week 13 finally they were installed.
Now if I could just rate the 2 guys who did a GREAT JOB!!! I'd give them a 5 STAR.. They showed up on time, worked all day, never took a break, cleaned up, made sure they put drop cloths down so they didn't get the floors dirty. Even brought different shoes to wear in the house.
They were really nice guys, very polite.
I have to say I'm so very happy with our windows.

Had siding and shutters put on the house. Service is terrible. Now that they have our full payment, they fail to call back or return to fix problems. Our shutters are falling off the house, there are dents in the siding from the ladders, the siding above the porch is rippled, and 2 pieces are sliding apart. I would not use this company. They said they would return to fix it but I have not heard from nor seen anyone yet!!

Omega replaced our 35 year old roof on our large home. We were pleased with their work. Their crew was professional, polite, and informative. Their prices were competitive (We did have sticker shock. ALL the quotes we got were higher than expected.)

We have been looking to upgrade our current front door for awhile now to a more decorative and sturdy option. We also had wind damage and wanted to get that resolved. We received a cold call from Omega and it worked out very well timing wise, so we asked them to come out to discuss options. Sales person was knowledgeable and helpful.

We picked a door and the options we wanted and we feel we received a fair deal for the door. . About 6 weeks later the custom door was ready. Scheduling was easy, they had to reschedule once due to snow, but not a big deal.

The installer was great. he was knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to answer all of my questions and kept me updated in the progress. (My house had a crooked installation on the previous door, so it was more of a challenge for him to install, but he corrected the old issue in no time). Anyway the door looks perfect, just like when we placed our order. The installer was great, he cleaned up everything after he was done, went over everything in detail, and didn't mind all my questions.

We would recommend using Omega if you're looking for a new door. We are very happy.

We hired Omega to remove our old Jacuzzi tub and shower/surround, in order to convert the space to a ceramic tiled, walk in shower. They did beautiful work. We could not be happier with the work done. Bill is an excellent tile man, and everything looks great. We recommend Omega to anyone looking for quality home remodelers.

The sale and installation of my new windows was flawless. Omega has great customer service and is a quality product! I would recommend Omega Home Improvements!

Omega Home Improvements did a great job with our gutters. Everyone was very professional and friendly. They recommended larger gutters than originally planned the day that they completed the job, but they had the extra materials.
The only area of improvement I would suggest would be scheduling jobs. We were put on their schedule to be done within 8 weeks, but they were unable to get to our project until 10 weeks from the time we signed the contract.

We had our windows replaced by Omega. We live in Eighty Four, PA 15330. We live on a hill with a field that is used for hay production. It is extremely windy. On the day the installers arrived it was 5 degrees in November 2014, the wind chill factor was around zero. The installer were extremely good at what they did, they cleaned up after themselves every day. I must commend them for starting on the day they said they would, even on the coldest day of 2014. I am extremely pleased with their professional work and I am getting ready to call to ask for an estimate on putting an all season sun porch on our deck. I highly recommend their windows and their installers that gave us a daily update on what they would be doing each day.

My grandparents purchased a door from here. The color and quality are both good. The service was friendly, and the installation was quick. There is a squeaky hinge on the door, the door knob came loose, and the cylinder needs adjusted. However, they called the company, and someone will be by to fix everything at no extra charge.
