Neither Mary, nor I can recommend Old Ridge Roofing with any more confidence or satisfaction than that held after the fall 2023 installation of our new roof. Our roofing rehabilitation included many parts of a total “reroofing job” with a scope that included repair work to rotted decks, replacement of three new skylights and garage cupola, removal and replacement of new roofing materials, and installation of new gutters and leaf guards. Of five bids, Old Ridge was mid-range, a fair bid, but what sold the job was Travis’ visit (the owner of Old Ridge Roofing) and discussion of reroofing plans with my wife, Mary. Travis was raised, and lives with his young family in Hanover County and takes a personal approach to his work with genuine interest in a homeowner’s project; both Travis and Kim (in the office) listen intently, and with patience. Our aim was not just to reroof our home, but to upgrade the visual and functional aspects of our roof. Travis was extremely helpful with suggestions that paid off in a finished job that was functionally robust, visually appealing and completed by a crew that was just as courteous as they are skilled and hard working. At the end of the workday work areas were tidied, and a thorough job of clean up was completed at job’s end. The project punch list was kindly addressed with thoroughness, with written guarantees filed for us with customer copies. Old Ridge Roofing delivered on every promise, treated our home as if it were theirs, and became our long-term trusted contractor for future roofing needs.

Travis, Kimberly and their entire team are spectacular! I contacted Old Ridge Roofing in the middle of the holidays just before New Years for an emergency repair (due to heavy rain) and roof replacement. Kim answered the phone right away and after hearing my dilemma contacted Travis to take a look.
Travis arrived at my house within the hour, inspected all that needed to be done and provided a very fair estimate. My plan was to get 3 estimates, but, itheir attentiveness and customer service sold me right away. Travis and Kim went the extra mile and beyond to turn a stressful situation into one that quickly gave me peace of mind. Had a small roof leak on our new roof (that Travis did not install) - talked to Kim and she scheduled a time for Travis to come out - they are great to work with and I feel very comfortable with them and Travis' knowledge. Would definitely use him for anything roofing in the future.

Travis and his team are always great to my family and I. They replaced my first roof many years ago, then my in-laws. When we couldn't figure out who to call about a leak in our new house we called Old Ridge Roofing hoping they could help. Before they could get here we were hit with snow and lots of wind; dislodging some flashing and a gutter.

When Travis arrived he repaired the flashing and gutter on the spot and found the source of the leak while he was at it! He was able to fix all three problems during the initial visit when we expected a quote and delays.

A tree fell on my garage last week. When I called Old Ridge Travis came out SAME DAY to do an assessment. He had his team here in two days and they finished the repairs very quickly. Roof looks good, didn't leave any debris and the cost was lower than most. Will call them again for any roof issues I have in the future.

UPDATE: I used Old Ridge Roofing when it was finally time for a new roof. It was such a good experience! No pressure, no upselling. Just honesty and a good, clean job. Highly recommend. Really strong warranty, probably much better than you can get for this price from a big box store. Travis was extremely transparent and committed to the job.

Old review from 2023: Alright, so the weird thing is these guys haven’t done any actual paid work for me yet. However, that’s because a guy came out and gave me an honest assessment of the very minor leak in my roof and told me he wasn’t 100% sure where it was, so he was going to apply caulk to a few spots and wait and see. He took a thorough look inside and out, so I know he wasn’t cutting corners.

I know that doesn’t sound like a great endorsement, but let’s face it: I’d rather have a guy look at a situation, say “hmmm, this is a weird one ‘cause I can’t actually see where it is, maybe it’s super minor” and try to apply a minor patch as a “test” at no charge, instead of trying to lie and/or exaggerate the extent of the repairs. Honesty goes a very long way with me. I told him that if I notice the leak again when it’s raining, I’d take more careful notes on where it’s coming from and give them a call back right away.

Great work done in a timely fashion. Travis explained everything to me and kept me apprised of the various stages of work that was done to my home. So far everything looks fantastic! They cleaned up and you would have never known roofers were there besides the new roof. Thanks for working on my home.

Travis and his team replaced my Dad's roof and I saw the great work they did for him so I got an estimate from Old Ridge and another recommended company. The other company came back less but I went with Travis after seeing the work and the 10 year workmanship warranty he gives on his work, which is huge. They did such a great job and the shingle color recommendation was on point. I love the color, it looks fabulous. He paid a lot of attention to detail and I will be getting an estimate for new gutters too! Highly recommend them, great experience all around!

We recently bought a cabin that was in desperate need of a new roof and some structural repair. Travis and his team replaced the roof and any damaged wood they found, added new skylights, and replaced the roofs on two storage buildings. The whole process went very smoothly and we are very happy with the end result. Travis and Kim were easy to communicate with and kept us updated throughout the process. The attention to detail was excellent, everything was finished in the estimated time, and the price was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend them.

Excellent company to deal with! Mine and My moms roof was damaged in a Storm in June. They came right out for an inspection for Us. I have worked for a General Contractor for 25 years (but just can't do roof work anymore) and can say the work was well done. Most of all I would like to mention, and thank Them for all the extra work they did to help my mom, who is on a fixed income, with her Insurance claim and other issues on her Home. It was above, and beyond the job description.

Had a great experience using TCC Innovations! Called to seek an estimate on reparing damaged shingles on my dormer window. Travis was able to come out the same day for an estimate, which was very reasonable. Travis was also able to perform the repair the next day, before the arrival of forecasted heavy rain. While performing the repair, he noted some failing caulking and loose nails, which he also repaired. I will be using their services in the future and highly recommend TCC Innovations for roofing repairs!
