I would like to give Newmart Builders, Inc a huggge shoutout: Mr. Compton(Henderson, NC): was efficient and knowledgeable but also very helpful in assessing and assisting in my choice of my needs; Newmart customer support: I called because the setup crew was a little delayed but the male that answered my call connected me directly to the crew that was installing the building. Lastly, the installation crew: Nicholas Edward’s, Allen, Tony and Milly: efficient, professional and cordial. I would definitely recommend all!!!!!

After ordering a Building from Direct Metal Structures and not receiving a building after over 5 months or my deposit back I ordered a building from New Mart Builders and 18 days later I had a 24x40x12 building installed. The crew that installed my building did a great job and were running behind because of weather conditions and finished installation on a Sunday. Great company with very knowledgeable installers. Would highly recommend them for a building.

Good and not so good.

Good - Cost, quality and installation was great. A window that was cracked during installation was replaced at no cost.

Not so good - It took four months and numerous phone calls and emails from me to get it replaced. It would have been great to have received at least one (or two) phone calls, emails or texts initiated by Newmart with an update letting me know the replacement was still scheduled and a "best guess" on when the window should be replaced. I don' expect personalized service but, to me, keeping the customer updated without them having to initiate the conversation is just part of having great customer service.

I recently had Newmart Builders put up a 30’ x 25’ x 9’ steel garage for me. Not only was the pricing the best I’ve seen on the east coast but the quality of materials was superior than others. The installers were very professional and did a great job. The site was cleaned up very well afterwards as well. Would highly recommend to friends and family !!!

Newmart Builders recently installed two builders for us. a 20x30x10 and a 30x30x10. They crew worked quick, was super professional, and did a thorough job with every aspect of the install. We couldn't be happier with the building. Everything from the order, to scheduling, to delivering and install was super easy. We would not hesitate to do business with Newmart again. Thanks guys!!!

Had a great experience. We had a carport installed. Installers were very professional, knowledgeable & cleaned up everything before leaving. They even showed up on a day it was raining. Very pleased with our result. I would definitely recommend Newmart builders.

I purchased a 12x20 car port from Newmart and I could not be happier with the entire experience. From the local dealer to the final assembly the people I dealt with were friendly, helpful and most of all knowledgeable. The installers arrived at precisely the expected time, in the pouring rain, and had the whole job complete in just 2 hours! And all this after having driven all night from North Carolina! The job turned out beautifully and I am a fanatic about precision and doing a job correctly. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone considering a metal building!

Great business to work on your property! If you have an issue with something that might've gone wrong, they will come back and attempt to fix the problem. I had an ongoing issue with a door that wasn't quite level and they came back to fix it for free long after the 90 day policy expired. The integrity of this company is unquestionable - they take pride in their workmanship.

I was ready to purchase a metal building and was told I needed to take care of the concrete. The concrete company I called as expected wanted a set of plans for the building to ensure proper concrete pour. I called multiple times and could not get a call back when I was told I would.

Beyond disappointed. There’s not enough space to type the nightmare I had with their installers. I was expected to inspect a building at 12:30am/1:00am in the morning in the pitch black dark. I had the crew beating on my bathroom window one night around 11:00pm wanting to bum cigarettes. I was assured by Newmart after the first night of working into the wee morning hours they would finish before dark & come back the next day to SAFELY continue installing the building, that did not happen. I paid cash for the building in FULL only to be told later I had a remaining balance because someone couldn’t calculate sales tax. My husband ended up with a screw in his new truck tires, my elderly Mother fell/was injured on a piece of metal scattered under the snow around my yard, and let’s not forget the 100 or more cigarette butts all over my yard. Pictured below is what we cleaned up out of our driveway, yard, & inside our building. There’s problems with the building and I pray not everyone has this same experience. Newmart did NOTHING to try to make any of this right. They didn’t care. Let’s not forget the countless OSHA violations I have on my home security cameras.

Placed an order in September, had my pad ready on December 1st. on December 14th the building was finished. Joe and his crew did a really good job they were very polite and they know what they are doing for sure. I also had a few concerns with the metal siding and jared quickly offered to replace the metal witch I declined as it was nothing that serious. I see a lot of bad reviews but I’m very pleased with the way they run their business and how my 30x40 building turned out. I definitely recommend theses guys.

Purchased a Carport for my Boat. 36x18x10. Came out and squeezed it into a very tight space for me. Very quick and professional.

Great service and great prices! 40L x 18w x 12h RV port was erected in less than 5 hours! Very professional crew who made sure the installation was done to our needs.

Do not do business with this company. If I could give them a zero I would. We gave a deposit in April to receive a Carport Shed and decided we no longer wanted it. We have made numerous attempts to receive our deposit back by visiting the office and repeated phone calls and here it is about to be November and no refund yet. They have poor communication skills .When contacting them they act like they don’t know what you are talking about when we call them and give the same excuses every time. Stay away from this company. They are leaving us no choice but to take legal action. We want our money back.

Back in June I called because water was leaking in my new metal building, right under the window. This has been resolved, thank you.
I love my new shop. Be sure to seal around windows during construction.

This is an 18x31 bent bow with two sides. I added the support braces and this thing does not move at all!

I would recommend them if you need a Carport or metal building.

To summarize my experience in a few simple words; liars, scammers, cons. My situation was simple, made a deposit, unfortunately circumstances changed on my end and I could not have the carport placed as intended. Everything was done from contract to having to back out within 72 hours. I was told I would get my deposit back except for the $9 for the card charge. I was fine with that and understood. Was told the refund would take a couple weeks to process. Well it’s been almost 90 days and they don’t want to respond to emails, left me on hold for 10 minutes when I tried to call so I hung up. My bank can’t do anything because it’s been greater than 60 days since the transaction took place. These folks are cons. I should have never went with them, I’ve heard bad but I’ve heard a lot of “good” The only good experience I had was when I was giving them my deposit, as soon as things changed their attitudes changed. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

These people didn't show when they said they would. They didn't contact us to say they'd be late or not at all. When I called they didn't seem to care, didn't know the install guys hadn't shown, and didn't know where they were. It's been 2 days of waiting around being told they'll show up. I don't know about others, but I can't keep missing work and calling in with no notice. Horrible experience. You can definitely get the safe building materials from other companies. DO NOT USE Newmart!
Update- After I called to complain about the install, Anthony from the installation team called and threatened me. John from Newmart called 2 days later, not helpful or concerned at all.

Do not do business with this company. Worst experience I have ever had. Roof is sagging, roll up doors are rusting after only six months. I called our town representative, no call back. Called the company, no call back. All they care about is getting your money. Go somewhere else, you will be glad you did.

Two employees showed up at my home at 10:30am to erect a 2-car carport. They worked efficiently and almost synchronized in the installation. They only took a 10 minute break and continued to work until the job was completed. They finished at 2:00pm. The finished carport is beautiful, sturdy and a "job well done!"

Builders were fast and thorough. Cleaned up pretty well. They are out of state and don't come around often so expect some down time plan for it.

Delivered a load here, quick in and out unload, truck drivers, there is a gate but it's at a dead-end street, I parked on the road and nobody said anything

No words. Worst contractor experience in my life. Many mistakes. Many days coming back to try and fix them. Poor solutions and more problems discovered. Photos are of my roof that is leaking. It’s a new building with damaged panels they put up. Every single screw is over torqued so they are no longer waterproof or up to code.

They might be able to build a shed, but building a garage seemed too difficult for them. Many mistakes were made and I waited for over a month for repairs. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a quality product. Not sure if the building will hold up in the long run.

excellent building , exactly what we ordered and time frame for installation was right on time. installation crew did a excellent job. we are very satisfied and would highly recommend newmart builders to anyone looking for a metal building.

We have been a partner with Newmart for 14 years. I cant say enough positive things about their professionalism and drive to deliver a high quality structure.

They delivered a carport and installed it. The crew were fantastic and did an wonderful job. Polite gentlemen. I would use them again and I recommend them with 5 stars. Great company.

Paid our deposit ($1200.00) which the company cashed within 5 days....only to find out that we were not able to obtain a building permit. Cancelled our order ~~ we have been trying for 11 weeks - for SOMEONE to contact us. NOTHING, NO ONE...they always say that "someone will call you back"....no one ever does!!

Totally and hugely un-professionable.

This is one of the worst companies i have ever experienced. The installation is not straight. The installer walk across the roof rolling the metal at every truss. They rans screw through the metal into nothing. They were not on time. Sadly enough called me says they were running late as they were installing my shed. This is a very poorly ran operation. After they put up the shed Jason told me he would be back the next morning to finish. He didn't come back. Do not pay these jack leg installers a dime until the job is complete. I have been call Jarod to get this resolved and he just doesn't respond. I strongly recommend finding a better company. They are cheaper for a reason.

Subcontractor did a lousy job., garage door not level, framing for the garage door is not square or secured to the ground. Entry door not operational. 1.5 inch difference from top to bottom. Will not close or lock. Metal siding missing screws, They left the trash and scrap material laying in the yard. First I was told it would be a month or so before someone could come out. I sent numerous pictures and told them I shouldn’t have to wait another month to use my building. Now I’m told two weeks or so. Totally disgusted with this company. Christopher Widen. Crew showed up and hit the ground running. Was told they'd be there at 7 but showed up at 11. There was a communication barrier. Not much English spoken. That wasn't a plus. Three man crew. Good worker's
Only real complaints were the communication issue and all the screws on the ground when they left. In a week I've had 3 flat's since it's been up. This is after picking up 4 big handful s. Building look good

I ordered a carport in the beginning of August of 2021. I was told that there is a six month lead time and there was an increase in the price of materials. I was a little upset about it but everything went up this year. I got a call from Newmart around the 16th of December wanting to schedule for the 20th of December. The team arrives early in the morning and completed the job in around Two hours. I did an inspection of the underside of the roof looking for misaligned screw hole and found none. The team did a very good job and paid carful attention to ensure it was level. I am very pleased with their work

Ordered 14x24 shed for my husband's truck in June 2020. Was told we wouldn't receive it until October due to pandemic.. They called to confirm the order the first week in September. A few days later they called to say their crew would be in our area the next week. The crew showed up as promised. They started putting together the shed but the rain caught them along with a lightning storm which lasted 2 days. On day 3 they returned to complete the job. Very friendly and professional group of young guys. We were very pleased with their work ethics as they cleaned up every bit of scraps leftover from the job. We've had many neighbors inquire about the company who installed the shed. We are delighted to share that information with anyone due to the excellent quality of service we received from start to finish.

They arrived on time and constructed a 20x21 carport in about an hour. Well pleased with the quality and installation. Would buy from them in the future.

So far, so good. We await our carport. Lewis and team have been available and efficient. Our carport won't be ready for several months.

Purchased a RV carport in 2016 from NewMart Builders. The carport has blue siding and a A roof. I Paid over $4,500 for this carport. It was supposed to have a lifetime warranty. In January 2021 we noticed that the siding color had started fading horribly and was blowing paint onto our RV in other vehicles parked under it. We contacted the company and after numerous calls and emails the issue is still not resolved. It seems as though the only person who can make a decision is named Bill
To this day April 3rd 2021. I am still waiting on Bill to call me back. Do not buy from this company. Poor customer service and very non-responsive.

Bryan and his crew were screws to the metal the min. They hit the ground. They were on time friendly and professional. I will definitely use Newmart again. Super good people. They installed a 30x80 carport and it looks amazing. Him and his crew are an asset to the company.

Nearly perfect! Knowing what I know now, I would still buy next unit from NEWMART Buildings. Ask for Truck #2 with Josh C and Team of Nathan N; Javier R.; and Cody K. The guys knew how to put a building together :)

20x41x9 A-Frame certified on cement slab, fully enclosed, 3-car garage with two side doors. Opted for drip stop (roof only) and colors of choice for less than $10K (not including slab which was also about $10K).

I can live with the many annoyances: 181 days between order and install, minor scratches and footprints on siding, about 45 dropped screws, lack of communication on options (one door opens in, one door opens out), some personal debris (pizza crusts, drink bottles, catsup wrappers), and some building debris (cut frame parts, cut sheets, wrappers and trash).

At least now I know what I might come to expect but - given time and necessity, I'll be back for another metal building..

we were told that the building would be ready in December. It is now February 12th and we're still getting the run-around. It's always weather delays which would be somewhat believable if we were in Minnesota. Today's lie is that it'll be two weeks. I am seriously not holding my breath. Customer service is a complete joke.

We started this project with Newmart in Aug. We were told a November time frame for delivery which didn't happen. We were then told a delivery date of Dec 31st which didn't happen. Their excuse is always the weather. We contacted them yesterday and ask when the building was to be delivered and was told they would call us back which obviously didn't happen. You can bet your bottom dollar that once our building is delivered and installed correctly we will never use them again nor will we recommend them. As a business woman, my word means Everything to my clients and communication is key. The garage was finally delivered on Jan 14th 2021. I'm glad this project is done and over.

Ordered a rv carport from this company.So far excellent staff and follow thru.Building to be delivered and installed by company personnel.Delivered my building a day early after they called me and scheduled.I kept in touch with them periodically,they went thru a tough spell with the pandemic but I just got my building and the crew did a great job and I am very pleased with the RV carport.The crew that installed mine knew what they were doing.Thank you

If you order from Newmart expect that you will not have a solid time frame to expect your building. We started out at 8 to 10 weeks and are now at least 12 weeks out. They are rude and unprofessional when you attempt to nail down a timeframe for installation.

Quote from Newmart employee: "It looks like you jumped the gun and counted your chickens too early by trying to schedule an electrician."

Terrible customer service. Another quote: "Well, if you want a building what choice do you have?"

Edit - 12/22/20 - Now at 14 weeks without a schedule or even a phone call. Last estimate was before Christmas but that isn't going to happen since they say that they call a week ahead.

Edit - 01/18/21 - I sent an email on December 30, 2020 asking for an instalation estimate. They responded: "I spoke with scheduling and they said they will be giving you a call within two weeks." Received a call about a week later to schedule for noon on Friday, January 15th. The work crew came on time and were courteous. They started on Friday afternoon, left at about 5pm and finished up on Monday. The instalation looks good so far. Color and trim are correct. Panels and doors are well fitted

I ordered metal from this company because another company built my building and never finished it . They took my money and didn't finish my building . So I order this beta from the company and I paid for order to be delivered and when I gets here buy the time I get to count the 300 pieces of metal I ordered they were short 56 pieces of metal. I spent $3200 on this metal and they said o well that they are not going to send me out any more metal and were very rude. I do not recommend spending any money with this company because if you dk they don't care if they screw you . Its just sad they make all this money and screw there customers. DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Or you will just kick yourself in the butt.

Kevin and his crew showed up the day and time we were told. They worked til 6 pm only taking a short lunch break. We could not have had a better crew. Very professional but really nice guys. Their work is exceptional. Thank goodness. We had read some not so great reviews about crews but cannot say enough good about these guys.

Absolutely great company to deal with. If you purchase buildings, ask them to send truck #2. Geeat group of guys. Finished 2 large buildings in just 4 days. Super happy customer!

Mike & his helper showed up on time and were done within 2hrs, very good at what they do. They were courteous & professional. Great value, should have done it a long time ago.

My husband and I requested to view a house in South Hill,Va. After following the requests to fill out application and sent it back. The agent John Davis would not follow up with our requests. I even expressed we were fully prepared to leave a deposit immediately if we liked the residency. The fact that he ghosted us with no follow up to my e-mail or call leads us to believe it may have been discrimination because of our race or the fact that we were from out of town. Hard to prove but we've had much better service from Sherwood Baskerville Agency.

Very disappointed in the whole experience .
First off the crew was supposed to be at my house from 7am to 9 am ,crew didn't show up.
So I called at 12 and asked where the crew was and newmart said their running behind secudal. Would have been nice to know but they never called to tell me .6:45 pm comes and the crew is finally pulling in the driveway .
Crew was very unprofessional and not the nicest to speak with and acted like they just didn't have a care in the world they were late never apologised or anything and seemed like they wanted nothing to do with me .so after an hour they finally start removing Building materials off the trailer. Here we are 730 pm and it gets dark at 8 pm ,needless to say they built my 20 x24 3 sides fully enclosed Building in the dark with headlights. Looks like they used a can opener to cut various pieces of tin and didn't have the tin tight and flush when screwing the screws in ,so I called newmart the next day and long story short they pretty much said our buildings are not perfect and the crew can only do such good work out in the field with what they got ,this will be my only and last Building newmart will build due to multiple reasons ,they will never get another dollar out of my pocket
