My Roof Solar

Sent a rep to my door with a photocopy of a letter from OG&E wearing an orange vest talking about rate hikes. Very nearly would have scammed my wife if I hadn't stepped out on the porch and asked the man who he worked for. As soon as he admitted he wasn't an OG&E rep I sent him packing. HIGHLY DECEPTIVE AND DECEITFUL.

MyRoof client resolution dept accused us of being unavailable because it took over 6 mos to get our system working. Our solar panels are not producing the 105% we were told it would, not even enough for our needs. We had two of MyRoof's workers tell us that it is not our system but a RMD issue meaning a computer issue with MyRoof. We were told the workers are wrong and MyRoof has no control over the weather. But we are stuck paying two electric bills-one to OGE and one to pay the loan. My mother is on a fixed income and MyRoof has not responded to my pleas for help. I am praying for MyRoof and praying they will do the right thing. READ YOUR CONTACT WORD FOR WORD
I truly do not believe the 5 star reviews are coming from real people. Michael Redin never ever responded to any of my texts or emails. - He had his client resolution department tell me "they can't control the weather" - Weather has NOTHING to do with the issues we are having. It is truly pitiful that they talk a woman that is on a fixed income into the system then abandon her with two electric bills to pay. All she wants is what she was told she would have from this solar panel system - 105% of her electric usage.

I’m an independent solar rep in Oklahoma. My team uses MyRoof Solar for all of our installs. I’ve never had an issue. They know what they’re doing and actually know how to get the system through inspections quickly and operational, usually within a month. I’ve been pleased and so have my customers.

Worst company dealing for over a year trying to get a generator running, not professional al all. The only one that was decent was the selling person she help me all the way. Let star numbering the events
1. the deliver unnoticed of all the parts, of the generator. no call and was drop at my driveway on a random afternoon and I had to call to try to keep all the parts safe inside my garage
2 the delivery of the solar panes same as number 1
3. They send a crew of plumbers smelling like weed leaving cigarette buts and beer cans on the back yard to dig a trench for the gas line to the generator and was failed by city code
4. Failing multiple times inspection of solar panels
5 they send a different contractor to dig for gas line failing the inspection again.
I have more horror encounters with unprofessional subcontractors and some of the direct guys. If someone ask me for a solar company I wouldn’t recommend this one is the worst and the most unprofessional total mistake on my side

I want to give 5 Stars because I really like this Company but I’m not sure how to feel since my Sales guy Stephen and his Gf told me as I originally signed up and did a 3 Day Cancellation because right after we signed he was in touch for any questions than all of a sudden he ignored us than blocked our numbers so we put the cancel in and surprise Stephen pops up saying he was sorry and would come by with a better offer in order for us to push the deal through. So he shows up and said it “works out better for you now”. I’m going to give you “a Thousand dollars and take you and your Wife to Dinner as soon as it’s approved and signed off by Del City inspection. I told my wife after how Stephen dodged us than reappeared I’m not sure about this. I even have our text messages for proof. Sure enough we agreed. Stephen was in touch the whole time from two different numbers being helpful and re assuring but once the the inspection was approved. Boom Stephen and his GF. Bailed on us all phone numbers blocked. I’ve been in sales my whole life I’ve never ever needed to lie or deceive a customer ever! I was pissed. What these companies need to convey to the sales folks is never ever lie and that especially in our case we are new to Oaklahoma, new home owners it’s scary to us to take that leap of faith and invest in the “ perfect system for our House” as it is going to cost us after financing like 38,000 what if my system is too big? Too expensive, the Roof was older Stephen said no problem we are Rooftop we will fix it. Bottomline I’m worried about what I got us into and I’m hurt that I like Stephen and flat out lied to my face!! If someone from My Roof or 111 Solar could address this properly I’d be happy to give 5 starts and plenty of referrals. Hello I’ve added another Star because my System is is kicking butt. I would give 5 but Stephen text me and said he was going to bring Money by and never did.

Updated review, I started my project with myroof in April 2023. I had a specific order my project needed to be done, foundation repair, roof repair, then solar install. I was told by multiple myroof employees that the order would be followed, it wasn’t. I was also told by multiple employees that I could get my trees trimmed as they cover a large portion of my roof, they even met with a tree service company at my home and agreed on a price and date, then told me I wouldn’t be getting it after all. Anytime I try to speak with someone I just get the runaround or they try to pass the buck to a different department or person. I had a total loan of nearly $67k, I was told my panel install wouldn’t cost more than $30k, my foundation would have $20k allocated for it to get done, my roof was supposed to have &12k for repair, & the other $5k was for odds and ends. I was told the last week of September 2023 that my solar installation apparently cost $47k, and that my roof was never going to be repaired, I asked for a parts & labor rundown so I could see how my install cost $17k more than I was told it would, I was denied. I was then told that I was going to be getting back $20k for the foundation, because it wasn’t going to be done. Then the first week of October 2023 I was told they were going to do my foundation after all…a lot of headache, very little communication, & not very honest from what I’ve experienced. I also sent emails to clientresolutions & made multiple attempted phone calls…heard nothing back until a few weeks ago (late September 2023)

Extremely frustrated with this company and the run around! Almost a yr later and still not running or functioning , the lack of communication with their clients is highly unprofessional . The lack of communication with the contractors they used is insane! Electrical inspection failed 3 times , gas inspections failed 3 times, and then they shut off what little solar usage I did have, which created a 400$$ electric bill. Did they communicate this to me no!! I had to find out when I opened my bill. I’ll be contacting my local news company about how y’all take advantage of hard working Oklahomans who trust you to do your part .

My experience with MyRoof Solar in Oklahoma was great.
After several months of high energy bills, I finally made the decision to jump over to solar power. My experience with MyRoof has been by far superb! Everything from the salesperson to the technicians, I want to give a shout out to Michael Redin. Not only have they shown their interest to giving their clients nothing but the best service, but they will go above and beyond to make it happen. Anything from long hours to attention to details when installing new equipment and strive to keep their work nice, neat and best of all Organized!
When the city inspector and the power company inspector, came by to perform the final inspections, both were very impressed with the total installation.
MyRoof Solar provided a quote that blew the other companies out of the water and the whole experience went very smooth from the purchase to the install. Also, I was very surprised how fast they were able to install the system.
I had a great experience working with Michael Redin to install solar panels on my home. He was very attentive and communicated the steps of the process very well for a nice price! I plan to recommend him to my friends and family. I’ve had my solar roof installed system for about 5 months now, and I’m already noticing a big difference in my savings. My house looks amazing, and my bank looks even better on the saving on my electrical bill. From the second I spoke to MyRoof Solar Company up until the panels were on my roof, it has been nothing short of a flawless experience. My Roof Solar came through with their promises and I would honestly recommend this company to anyone who even has the slightest thought of wanting to go Solar. Great work. I give them a A Plus.

After I signed the contract the work was very slow . So far 6 months, the job is not completed. Therefore I have to pay two bills now !! The electric and the solar bill. Once they take your money there is no need to rush!
Also, one of them stepped in my ceiling , now three months after they have not repaired it.
Be careful and think twice before you use this company.

Vincent helped and gave a very thorough presentation of solar, and managed to answer all of my concerns. We have seen very positive results on our bill due to solar and would highly recommend him!

I had an excellent experience working with MyRoof Solar. I was able to see and understand solar projections on my installation and calculate for myself to see my solar installation, which is guaranteed production for 25 years, is projected to pay for itself in the 15 year term I financed it for. For those thinking long-term and have the patience to sit down and do the calculations themselves, going solar makes total sense.

Also, Jarred and Michael were great to work with and answered all my questions thoroughly. Of three estimates, MyRoof Solar gave me the best bid and have done quality work. There were delays in getting approval from the city and from OG&E, but I was consistent in checking in on the progress, I always had my questions answered. By the time my panels started producing power, it was two months past when they planned, so I received two months payment sent to me because of delays.

Those 2 positive reviews are fake! Very pushy, so many red flags, the cold call, the salesman, the "manager" or whoever called me. They wanted us to act now, we told them give us 2 weeks and they called 4 days later, then 6 days later the "manager" called me asking why. They didn't even look at my roof and claimed 105% of my bill would be covered, I don't care that they have a satellite image, they didn't even look. In one meeting they wanted to run our credit. It was so sketchy. The guy who called me and the salesman seemed so unsure. Seems fake. No, means no.

unprofessional and sketchy in my opinion; their salesman who said his name was Micheal Sams is going door to door not honoring or respecting their (NO SOCIALITATION SIGNS) then got rude and chippy with me when I asked for identification saying "I don't want to disrespect you in front of your kids". How about training your people to respect them enough to honor their sign of no solicitation. Sending salesman or solicitor's to homes in neighborhoods with no identification to show who they are, only had a laminated single sheet of white paper with an OGE logo claiming to be a partner but couldn't provide any identification. I called the cops. Chapter 29

(It shall be unlawful and an offense for any person to engage in solicitation within a residential zoning district at a private residence that has a posted sign indicating that the resident or occupant does not want such activities upon their private premises.)

The entire process with this company has been horrendous. I was told when getting solar I would not have to pay for it for a year, and here I am paying for both OGE and for the panels every months because the system is yet to be up and running. neither the person who sold me solar nor the my roof office has "gotten back to me" on why I'm being charged for my panels already. They also said the price would not raise $100 more, after a year of starting to pay for the panels, but at this point I'm sure I've been promised snake oil. The installer fell through my ceiling too, and for the last month I am told they would be out on Friday each week to repair it. We wait every Friday and they do not show up. This last friday they called to let me know they are scheduled to be there within the next couple of hours, after that no word, I even messaged the gentleman to make sure they were still coming out, no response.

Every single thing that I have been promised has not been met. Do not use this company. I will update this if they choose to make good on what they've promised. If you're still seeing this, they did not. I will also report to the BBB.

Alexander explained the application & loan process clearly! Showed the number of expected panels & where they’ll be placed! The total cost, monthly payment, & the interest rate!
Alexander also pointed out my past months electrical usage. After I pulled up my online OG&E payment history.
I’ve spoken with two other company reps. For some reason I wasn’t convinced to utilize their service! I found MyRoof on fb. Thank you for responding & scheduling an appointment! Pleasure meeting you Alexander!

I would like to leave a review about these guys. This guy Sean that works for them came and knocked on my door today. At first I was like get out of here I don’t need what your selling. Then he popped off a lil joke and got me laughing. So I was like ok, I’ll let you tell me about what your selling. So needless to say I’m all set up and can’t wait to see what kind of money I can save with this solar. Definitely a A++++++ from me.

Recently installed a My Roof solar system and was very pleased with the planning, information and installation. The sales team, installers and managers have been excellent. When I voiced concerns over the placement of the panels Alex and Jared were there in minutes to address concerns and offer a satisfactory solution. I recommend them highly.
