Customers are fully satisfied

I had a great experience with Dominic, Cory and the company building a two-car carport with a deck. They were good with communicating changes, scheduling and resolving issues.
Two events that I think are good notes for their competency and helpfulness:
1. When I was first starting this project, I paid a check for designing a carport at the end of the my driveway. Dominic looked up the ordinance and discovered that building that close to the road would require an exemption. He advised me not to seek the exemption and gave back the check. Ultimately I tried to get the exemption and was denied, later building the carport behind the house.
2. I locked my keys in my car when they were working at my house, and they helped me get into the car without damaging anything.
The carport looks great and all my nitpicks were addressed in a timely manner. The aesthetic choices match my house closely and I'm very happy with the quality and outcome.

We appreciated the way Todd and team went about the planning aspect of our basement project. I felt much better about the quotes knowing they came after detailed plans were made of the build out, sourcing fixtures, and really working through how things would come together. We only left a few things with allowances, and that helped with the schedule and cost stability.
The quality of everything was exceptional, and it was great to come downstairs each day to see the progress. We had many opportunities to check how things were and make specific decisions on placement of items, fit out, and the little details all along the way. I was able to run some network cable while everything was still exposed, and it all came together in the end. We also were very impressed with the suggestions made by Domenic and the team to create beautiful and functional solutions to challenges like hiding the sump pit and water heater.
The team was so professional and personable. We enjoyed interacting with them occasionally and felt very comfortable having them in our home.
Communication was also important to us and Domenic called at least once a week to keep us updated on progress and expectations.
We would definitely call Milton first on another project!!

Milton Construction does quality work and are worth every cent they charge. I do not mind paying for quality work, and that is what you will get when you engage them. They bid firm fixed price, but bid it high to cover any unknowns. They built a nice screened in porch for our home and we love it. They did encounter something they overlooked when quoting the job, but they ate the cost (covered most likely by the buffer they built into their price). Personally, I prefer a T&M + fee arrangement as the customer, as I would rather only pay for hours worked and materials, and, if any unknowns pop up, negotiate a change order. However, I understand why T&M is often hard for them when they have customers who want to follow their workers around and complain if they are not working quickly enough, etc. I can say that the crew that built my porch worked tirelessly long days, taking only the shortest of time to quickly eat a sandwich for lunch. I was very impressed by their work ethic.
When they first built our screened in porch one of the doors was sticking when it was humid out but the salesman/foreman (Domenic) returned the next day and shaved the door for us without a problem. The crew are very good at what they do, and courteous. They also replaced a post for me as well as installed a storm door for our front door. We are thrilled with all the results! You can trust this company to perform well. I look forward to hiring them again for my future projects.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
