I’ve been dealing with Dan for many years. He has always exceeded my expectations with his attention to detail and craftsmanship. All around great and honest person to work with. This is the guy you trust to make repairs at your mother’s house. The job will be done right and it will done for a fair price. Five stars are not enough!

Had a persistent roof leak from a prior roofing contractor.
McCauley found and repaired that and also identified a ventilation problem that should be rectified and headed off a problem down the road. Crew was friendly and very neat. They showed up on time and finished the job as promised. Price was fair and the work thorough and very well done. I couldn't be more satisfied. We've used them for work on other family members' homes as well and have been very pleased with the work done each and every time.

Dan has been doing contracting work for my family owned real estate business for almost 20 years. Interior and exterior work. I trust him to repair and replace all of our roofs and wherever weather meets construction of our homes.

Wanted to replace my bathroom and remodel it and they did a marvelous job will deftly recommend them and will continue to use them for future projects… if you need something done then give them a call for your projects

I have used McCauley Construction for several different projects at my home. The prices are reasonable. The work is excellent. They do a great job of cleaning up when they are finished. If there is something that you have a question about, Mr. McCauley will be there in a timely manner to address any problems.
Most of all, he is honest and trustworthy. I would recommend this company without reservation.

I have used McCauley Construction since 2010 for many home repairs and maintenance needs - this is inclusive of slate roof repair, flat roof repair, exterior painting, ceiling in downstairs den, new kitchen cabinets (which Dan made), exterior wood replacement, repair living room plaster/ceiling- and I am sure I am overlooking many - bottom line Dan McCauley is very knowledgeable, talented, dependable, and trust worthy. He is my go to construction company and I feel so blessed to have his services to rely on for necessary home repairs, roofing, and remodeling.

Dan was extremely knowledgeable and professional when installing our deck. He listened to what my idea was and made it happen. His employees were also extremely hard working and very pleasant. I cannot say enough about the service! My deck looks even more amazing than I expected.

I sustained roof damage on Saturday 9/21/2024 . Dan called me and arrived at my house at 8 am on Monday morning.He advised me on the best repair method and proceeded to fix the roof minimizing my expense and preventing any interior water damage. I highly recommend Dan and will use him for any work I need.

Dan and his crew did a phenomenal job converting our basement into a mudroom/music room. I recommend highly for superior workmanship, problem solving and attention to detail. We love the result.

We also had them replace our roof, which was done with the same level of quality and professionalism. Thanks Dan!

Called the number and owner Dan McCauley showed up at 04:00 pm appointment time on the day of appointment.
Did a thorough inside inspection for damage.
Gave me an reasonable repair estimate of $2200 .
I later inquired of additional cost to replace complete roof.
Again a reasonable additional estimate of $700
But at payment time he said it was $770 additional?
Still a reasonable amount.
So I rounded payment up(+30.00) to $3000.
No appointment date was scheduled
Then Dan called morning of day of repairs to my cell phone and left a message was crew would be starting that day.
But I didn't know until l saw a 4 man crew going to barn.
They completed complete roof in one day and did a great cleanup job

My third page copy of only his estimate is hardly legible
So After repairs I was given No legible invoice of final repair payment.
Or a receipt showing Brand of shingles and what years of warranty coverage if ever necessary.
I texted Dan requesting a invoice of paid repairs also showing brand of shingles installed with amount of years warranty on shingles.
And also for possible tax write off when and If proof of upkeep etc if I ever decide to sell my house in future
Disappointed and sorry to say I still have not received a return call or legible paid receipt in mail.

Dan did a great job on my rental property roof to fix a leaky drip that was coming into the interior ceiling. He's my roofer now!

I share a roof with a neighbor and her side was leaking. She called this company and they came out and did a $160 "patch". They told her that our 12 year old roof is in terrible shape and needs major repairs. A few days later it rained and it was still leaking. I went out to talk to him and tell him I wasn't putting out any more money until we had additional quotes and he acted like he was doing us a favor by saying he wasn't charging for this second visit. I had two other companies come out and they said the "patch" job he did was embarrassing. They showed me pictures and it is awful. Both companies also said that the roof needs some repairs, but is in excellent shape. I am glad I decided to get additional quotes because we would have spent a lot of unnecessary money with this company. I do not recommend at all.
