Great company! Fast to respond even in peak AC season, professional and friendly, and very reasonable. I recommend their maintenance plan for ease of mind and to reduce unwanted surprise problems.

These are good people. I bought a unit from them, very reasonably priced, and their service has been exceptional!! I highly recommend them!

Had to have our HVAC replaced recently and we used Mayo’s. Very happy with their service as it was not a simple install due to being a condo unit with compressor on the roof. Would not hesitate to use Mayo’s Heat & Air in the future.

Called Mayo over weekend when heater stopped working making loud noises. Mayo rep Ben came out promptly for inspection and diagnosis. On Monday, new parts were ordered and installed in afternoon. Thank you Ben for job well done!

This review is mainly to give credit to the tech Austin. He was an extremely polite young man and very informative, taking the time to explain what and why the system is having trouble. Having several questions… he patiently provided the info I needed. The what and why and potential signs to look for moving forward. I hope Mayo understands what an asset Austin is and how well he represents the company.

Tech was great but I was sent a bill for over $200 for a $8 part and labor of 10min. Which was to replace the part under warranty. This company has shown to care about one thing the money not their word!!

Everyone that we have worked with at Mayo Heating and Cooling have been professional, knowledgeable and very nice. I highly recommend them.

The two guys that came out were extremely courteous and professional. First one found the problem and then ordered the part. Few days later the second one came back and installed the part. Fast and efficient. Everyone was great including the office personal AAA. Thanks

We were recommended to use MAYO as our 11 year old unit quit cooling/ heating. They responded quickly and started the process of assessing, testing, and diagnosing the problem. They found two problems, ordered parts keeping us in the loop the whole time. It did take time between the 4 visits to finally get it working and we were very pleased. The coat was about what we expected.

Any time we’ve ever needed service on our air conditioner, we’ve called Mayo’s Air Conditioning. They come when they say they’re going to come and are professional in every way. They had to come this morning, even though they were very busy, they took the time to come. They’re the BEST!!

We had an urgent A/C problem in the attic and were told that we should be able to see a A/C tech next week by our regular A/C co. We were concerned that we may have a major ceiling leak by next week and called Mayo A/C. They offered to come to our home within few hours which they did.
Chris M. was the tech that came the same afternoon and corrected the problem within 30 minutes. He was very knowlegeable & professional and explained some maintenance items that we were not aware of. I will definitely use them in the future for any &all A/C issues or purchases. I seldom take the time to write a review on anything but was compelled to compliment the service I received today by Chris of Mayo.

Yesterday morning I woke up to a 77 degree house (I normally keep it at 69)...it just kept rising. I called Mayo's - and this is a Saturday morning - Kris was here within a few hours. Fixed what was wrong - advised in the future to turn it off as he had to spend substantial time water cooling down the compressor. He is a great guy - professional, knowledgeable and the kind of employee everyone wants on their team!

Mayo is a great company to work with. Chris was on time, polite, knowledgeable, and explained everything very thoroughly. Would highly recommend.

I had to cancel my service call or try to reschedule it due to work conflicts. As I was talking to Kris on the phone, he recommended a couple of steps for me to try until we could reschedule. I took his advice and the drain began to flow. Kris did a great job walking me through the process. I will be calling Mayo's back the next time.

Mayo's did a fantastic job with our HVAC install! It's an old house, and they worked with all the weird old house issues great, got the job done quickly in less than two days, and cleaned up after themselves great. They filed for us for an energy credit, and we haven't had an electric bill for 4 months! They also offered interest free financing through Wells Fargo, which made the choice super easy! We highly recommend Mayo's!

We had an AC issue, and they came out very promptly and handled it. This was during the Covid period, and Kris showed up quickly, wearing a mask and gloves, and was able to immediately figure out the problem, handle it, and clearly explain to us what was happening and how we can prevent it from recurring. I have used Mayo for 3 years, I have had to have weekend and holiday service many times and I couldn’t ask for a better company. They have come out promptly each time and including going to Gulfport to pick up the needed parts, I have been back up and running within 12 hours of their diagnosing my unit. I have never been without air for more than 24 hours of the breakdown. I recently had a fan motor quit, called on a holiday and they were out on the holiday and had me back up and running by the next day by noon. Hurricane Gordon was heading this way and the supply house was closing at noon and they went early in the morning and picked up the part before it closed. Got me running before the storm was supposed to get here. If anyone is unhappy with their service than no one could proubly make them happy. I will use Mayo for as long as I have a A/C unit and for every house I ever build.

We have owned up to five houses in the area and now own three. Mayo has serviced our houses in an outstanding manner for 8 years. This weekend we had a failure on a 5 bedroom vacation rental house at 330 pm on Saturday. Mayo has emergency service Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 3 ONLY. They admitted they do not check for calls after 3 pm weekends. I also had the cell phone number of the owner's son Mike. I called that number several times with no answer. NOTE THIS IS A $23,000 AIR CONDITIONING INSTALLATION WITH A 10 YEAR PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY. When I questioned Mike about the policy he basically said that is their policy. NO ONE, I SAY AGAIN I REMEMBER NO ONE FROM MAYO APOLOGIZING FOR THE LACK OF SERVICE. It may be that I was so mad, I do not remember.

i called another AC company that came out immediately but was unable to get the needed parts. The call did appease my house guests. Mayo did come out Sunday and Monday morning promised the AC would be fixed by 4 pm before the next renters arrived. After a bunch of scrambling and help from my end, they finished at 3:59 PM Monday. I will transfer my service to another company when the warranty expires or as soon as I can find another option. Let me close by saying they have always been professional but they are hard headed about their weekend service policy.

I used Mayo's A/C years ago for a business I managed. I was so impressed over the professionalism of his technicians and their business ethics. Recently we needed A/C repairs on our own home. Again, l called Mayo's A/C. My husband was so impressed with the professionalism, the honesty and timely manner with Mike Mayo's employee, Patrick.
We know we will need their services again, we will not hesitate to call Mayo's A/C.

Mayo's replaced my old heat pump with a new Trane system. They started and finished on time as promised, they were very clean and did a professional job. I will recommend this company to my family and friends.

Have an extended warranty on my unit that was purchased and installed by Mayo's. The unit has been repairs at least 10 times in the last 2 years. Basically they are giving me a quick weekend fix every time and not actually repairing and replacing the broken parts. The last time a new tech came out he said whoever repaired it last time did not properly fix the problem. I told him his company that he works for did the repairs. Apparently he was told to the exact same thing because it has broken down 2 more times since his repair work was done.

We have used Mayo at our home and also on a rental house. They have always been responsive and very reasonable.

These guys are a bunch of clowns, Have been at my house 6 times in the last year for the same unit, tell you when they will be back to finish(cause they never seem to have any parts they need on their service truck), and then dont show up when they say they will, basically have a dont give a $#% attitude when you call them on it. Have you sitting all day waiting on them for a no show...wouldent hire them for nothing, CLOWNS!!!!!

I'm an out-of-state landlord. Mayo's worked with my tenant and did the inspection quickly. Their pricing is very competitive. Mike Mayo patiently explained to me what was wrong and the choices for repair. Outstanding installation service. this job was a remove and replace of an entire HVAC system.
