The staff were very rude to my mother. They ignored her because she was wearing a mask and helped the person behind her instead. The service was horrible and we live in town. I would like to support a local business but with the way they treat people trying to be safe, I would rather go to hardware hank in waconia.

Was looking for lumber that the local big box stores either didn't have or only had warped and cracked options of. Found the quality of their lumber to be a step above what other options are out there to consumers, and the customer service was great. I'll be stopping back in.

I was referred to Mayer Lumber by my contractor to buy the lumber to redo my deck. Was EXTREMELY happy with those that I interacted with at Mayer Lumber which included Andy and Matthew who was the delivery guy. They both were very courteous and kind anytime I needed to interact with them. Andy was quick to give me estimates and always available if I had questions. Matthew was very sociable and kind. I will miss him not delivering lumber to my house. ☺ I will keep them in mind if I ever have another project where I need lumber, and recommend them to anyone that is needing lumber for a project. Their Lumber is top-quality and their prices are excellent and very reasonable. Two thumbs up to you Mayer Lumber!!

Great customer service and worth the trip from Chanhassen for people willing to take the time to ensure we had everything we needed to get the job done right.

Very disappointed in the service. None of the small town friendly behavior you would expect. My husband had some questions about material we needed for a project and was told by one employee that he was “wasting” their time. The employee then said “I don’t even want to deal with this.” Such horrible service and down right rude! Needless to say we will be driving the extra distance to another store from now on.

I've stopped in this lumber yard several times since moving to the area. Each experience the staff have been unhelpful and seem to have poor/negative attitudes. I prefer buying local and buying from lumber yards over big box, and even pay a little extra to talk to helpful and product knowledgeable people -- but this place isn't worth it.

Excellent place to get your supplies. Everyone is willing to answer questions and try to solve problems. Always a great experience here!
PS. . I shop the big box stores, and Mayer Lumber is always right there with them. Fair prices and convenient with great delivery services too!

Have received a couple of lumber orders from them. Timely, and polite. They hand carried a truckload of lumber into our basement. Awesome service.

I recently designed and built a deck and had an awesome experience working with Andy and Mayer Lumber. I sought out a few quotes on materials and was surprised to find that Mayer beat out everyone by quite a bit - including Home Depot. So pricing was great, they did free delivery and pick-ups and were the fastest at everything - from quoting the projects (like 2 or 3 days) to delivery (usually next day). They had all the framing lumber in stock which surprised me as some were 18' and KDAT lumber. Other places that would have been a lead time item. Everything about working with Andy was superb and I will definitely be using Mayer Lumber in the future.
