Mark V Fiberglass

Ordered a hood 6 months ago and after multiple attempts to get an update finally got an email saying they were waiting for a hinge part for the hood. Waited another month before reaching out again to be told that they part had come in and it would ship "end of the week". Here we are yet another month later and multiple emails and voicemails trying to get an answer and still nothing. I'm assuming the money is just gone at this point, but hopefully someone will see this and steer clear.

1 star is being generous… I ordered a part for my car they said it would be ready in a few weeks. A month later i called again they said it’ll be done in a few weeks. Again a month later I called and they said it’s almost done you'll have it by Wednesday. It’s next week on Monday and I haven’t received anything. The following month they send me a tracking number. Three days later the tracking status is still “usps awaiting item”. They made the label and didn't ship the item for 3 days and counting. Mark V Fiberglass is a disgrace to customer service. They lie to their customers and they put in the least possible effort to deliver people’s orders. They will tell you what they think you want to hear, just to avoid a cancellation. Will never shop with them again and I think they are begging for the lowest ratings possible.

Bought a complete set of front and rear fiberglass flared fenders for my beetle, the fit up was horrible. Mark V definitely does not pay attention to craftsmanship. They were poorly trimmed leaving sections where the running boards bolt to the fenders completely missing along with areas that bolt to the body missing as well. Also appears that the were laid on there side during cooling causing them to be completely distorted. I would expect this type of product from a 3rd world country. I am a toolmaker by trade so you can understand my frustration.
I definitely would not recommend Mark V Fiberglass to anyone, if you need fender go elsewhere.
