- He will take your money and avoid your calls and messages.
- This guy took our money. Only paid half of it back because he never showed up to do the job!
- Been over a year and still trying to get our money back.

Takes your money and won’t complete the job. My neighbor has had their shingles removed and he never came back to put the new ones on even though they’ve already paid. The HOA is now reaching out to the whole neighborhood to let everyone know he doesn’t have a business licenses and has screwed over two people in just our neighborhood so far and not to use this company.

Do not give this man any money!! Beware! Our neighbor told us he was his friend. Do not be deceived!! If I could rate zero stars, I would. This man will steal your money or not finish your project! I still have not received my refund. This man stole thousands of dollars from me.

Hired him to replace our roof, but our HOA told us we couldn't use the product he specified. He still pulled our neighbors roof off and it has been open to the rain ever since. We agreed to cancel and requested our money back. We have been trying for over a month with no success. He continues to promise to pay us 'this Friday', 'Saturday' or 'when I get off work this evening '. He will take your money and avoid your calls and messages. Be warned! Read the reviews, we are not the only ones!
Update: Still continues to lie and say he will be here to repay me at a specific time and date and never shows. When he actually does reply he says he is late, haven't gotten out yet, working far away, etc. Lied to our neighbor and said he already repaid us. The neighbors roof remains un-shingled and they can't afford to pay someone else put a bew roof on as he won't give their money back either. Two months in now. STAY AWAY!

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
