These guys did everything possible to clean up a very dangerous situation in my yard. Trees down on my building. Debris everywhere. When they left its all gone. Best bunch if guys, and priced better than any I contacted. I highly recommend them.

A neighbors large pine tree fell in my yard and after receiving a free quote, The Manning Brothers were able to come out that same week and removed the tree. They even cleaned up all debris! Super impressive group of workers. I highly recommend them for all of your tree needs!

Ray came out and quoted the removal of a dead tree on my property. His price is fair, he’s willing to work with his customers to help save them money and he’ll let you keep the wood.

After the 7/6/22 storm, in Staunton, blew 3 large pine trees down in my yard I got 5 quotes for cutting up and removing. Manning Brother’s Tree Service came in with the most reasonable price and they told me they put storm damage ahead of regular work and could get to me by that Monday.
I took off work that day and I’m glad I did. I had the pleasure to see firsthand how Ray and his crew kicked pine tree tail. The work was done quickly, efficiently and safely. They took great care in making sure my property didn’t suffer any more damage.

This company deserves 10 stars! I asked around and decided to go with Manning Tree Services because they have a wonderful reputation. It is well deserved. I met with the owner to discuss what I needed. I figured it would be a couple of weeks. I came home and the job was done! Thank you so much for saving my roof, and providing me with some fire wood! If I ever need service again this company will get my business.

Manning Brothers Tree Service just finished work at my home and they did a super job. They were very professional, arrived on time and did all the work I had requested. I highly recommend them if you need tree removal or limb trimming work done.

I made a call to this company from my work to request an estimate of the tree trimming job at my home. I requested a phone call back on my cell phone number, or home number, leaving both on the voicemail. He called my work. I questioned why he didn’t call the home or cell number and he said sorry and hung up. Then he sent me a text to my cell asking for the address, never making a voice call. I called his number back and we scheduled a day and time. He showed up 30 minutes early, before the scheduled time I was not home. He left a message with a family member that one of the trees in question might be on city property and to call the city for options, which I did. After city personnel viewed my property the tree was actually on private property. I called him back twice and even sent a text message. No one ever responded. It’s been a week and I’m still waiting on the estimate. Needless to say, I do not recommend this company and I’ll be contacting someone else for the work to be done. I got nothing but the run around from Manning Brothers.

They do a great job at tree removal. Ray is clear with what they would do and what the price would be. I've used them multiple times in the past 3 years now. Whenever I leave them a message, they call me back in a reasonable amount of time. Ray and his guys are friendly, knowledgeable, and hard workers. I'll keep using them when I need trees removed, though I'm hoping this last project is the last time :)

First I requested a quote about picking up fallen tree debris ( No answer) had to leave message. Two days later I received a Text with just( what’s address) I respond with a who is this ? Because the text came days later and with nothing stating who it was. They finally replied with The company name, I ask if they could give me call, I don’t do business via text message.(unprofessional). Received an “ok” text and it was the next day before anyone called. I scheduled an estimate for the following day, told them I would not be home and what I needed to be done, they said no problem “we can leave the quote in your door. I went to work the next day and came home to no quote, I then called with no answer, so I left message. I then also text to see if they were still coming. About an hour later I received a text that it would be the next day before they could come, I said fine and again explained that I Only needed Clean up quotes. They said ok and they would leave quote in door. I went to work the next day and then received a call from my wife stating that they left a quote but it was for cutting down six trees and clean up. This is not what I needed! I just wanted clean up quote! Sooooo I called to see if they could give me a new quote. Nothing so far and it’s been Three days... I would suggest that if you need something done, DONT USE these guys!!!

The best advice I will tell anyone is to give Manning Brothers Tree Service a try. I have never seen first hand the incredibly hard workers they have. Ray is the best....he stands behind his company name to deliver excellence, professionalism, and integrity! His crew does not stop until the job is done. I hired this company to cut a massive size tree down that was close to the house and in between power lines. Ray handled that job like it was nothing and I knew his crew was exhausted by the end of the day.

Requested and recieved a reasonable quote to take down two trees two weeks ago. They were able to fit us into their schedule quickly. They arrived early this morning and finished the job, including clean up, by mid-afternoon. We highly recommend them!

Great experience, got the job done and cleaned up nicely. Came promptly to do the job and Ray and his helper we very nice and professional. Even came back the same day after we decided to have the stump ground. I recommend to anyone. Sincerely, Rick Jones

This company removed 3 large pine trees from my back yard in summer 2015. They were unable to grind out the stumps due to underground power lines, but left approx. 1 foot tall stumps and a large amount of debris in the yard . The gutter on a building near the trees was left damaged.
My chain link fence was taken down to remove the trees and was not returned to its original position. The gate post is leaning so that the gate barely closes. The top railing was not reattached to the gate post as they found it nor was the fence properly attached to the posts and top rail. The attachment wires that the company removed are no where to be found.
I sent multiple messages to Manning Brothers regarding these issues, and was told if I sent any more, they would consider it "harassment."
The lack of attention to these details as well as the attitude of the company makes me give them a poor rating.

They came out and gave us an affordable quote. After we called to say we were ready (after receiving other quotes that were almost triple) to move forward they were out the next day! All three guys were amazing! We had three trees that were close to our house (even one with branches over top of our roof) and they cut all three down without any issue. I would recommend to everyone and would definitely use again!
