I recently bought a new EGO battery mower through Ace BG. They were awesome; they assembled & delivered for free since I am a rewards member. I have had window and door screens repaired there. Employees are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Manager, Carol, is awesome! I will keep going back - Thanks!

This is my go to hardware store. The employees are actually knowledgeable most of the time and they always know where everything is and are very helpful.

Some neighbor used my snow shovel during the last heavy snow that we had , here in Bowling Green. When I saw it later in the day, it was missing the handle--broken off at the top of the wooden part of the snow shovel. Well, I finally got to Ace hardware. And, yes, they had two plastic "D" handles that fit the wooden longer handle of the snow shovel, on hand. The "D" handle cost $11.99 plus tax==$12.80! It is now for sale for, "let's say $15.00". It has the metal blade that gets the snow up from the concrete better, and down deeper than those plastic blade snow shovels. Make an offer!!

Great service, has everything you need and very friendly!! Reminds me of the local hardware store I grew up enjoying.

I would be willing to drive 45 minutes out of my way to shop here. Main Street Ace Hardware always has the items I need, the staff will help you find what is needed every time. The staff will help you get what you need for a project so you dont have to drive back and forth all afternoon trying to get it right.

The people at Ace are always there to help with out being overbearing. Every time I'm in there I feel like they some how used a shrink Ray on one of the larger chain stores because they seem to have just as much as they do. I haven't figured out how they do it yet but when I'm there I always walk back to the tool section just to make sure they haven't stocked any shrink Ray guns.

Live this store. I drive 20 minutes to go here and avoid the big box stores. They staff is great. I call and ask about a product and when I get there they take me right to it!

Ace hardware is staffed by very knowledgeable and helpful people. And they have it all! If they don't have it they will be glad to order it. I can't say enough nice things about Ace Hardware in BG.

A great small town hardware with a surprising amount of stock. Everything from Craftsman wrench sets to cleaning supplies. Also a unique selection of employee made art pieces sourced from hardware!

I spoke with two employees and both were friendly and helpful. I got help from a young associate who didn't know anything more about my quest than I did. And you know what? That's ok. We spent a short time reading labels and he noticed something relevant on a certain product label I had overlooked. Problem solved, item purchased and happy customer.

Everyone is always very helpful in finding what you need. Whether they've got it in store or have to order it they always make the effort to make sure you're well on your way before you leave.

2025 update: the ACE workshop fixed dad's old office chair they repaired all 4 legs, replaced the casters & added some shiny new screws to the bottom! it's just like new.

The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly! They sell a little bit of everything here - I usually shop their homewares. Prices are competitive and if they don't have it in stock, they can special-order items from their website.
And I love the candy - it makes me feel like I'm in an old-fashioned General Store!

Small home town hardware store that has a little bit of everything. The customer service is wonderful. I can tell they are making an effort to hire college students. So a few fresh faces are manning the check outs. Experienced associates still walk the well stocked isles that we know is Bowling Green Ace Hardware.
