We contracted Loni to paint our family home. It is an older two-story home and has been in our family for several generations. It was falling into disrepair and needed a complete exterior paint job. LP painting did a fantastic job painting the house and the metal roof. The house looks wonderful! Loni and his crew were very thorough in their preparation of the home for painting - pressure washing, sanding, scraping, priming, and caulking. Throughout the process, they were courteous and professional. Loni also communicated well with us and answered any questions that I had. I would definitely recommend them to others - and will use them for any future painting projects.

Absolutely incredible work by this team of dedicated professionals. We had the entire exterior painted and they were here to start on a holiday weekend, pressure washing and caulking. Worked on Labor Day. The attention to detail and care was amazing. They were very careful about the many plants around the house. Polite, asked questions, and did both a speedy but absolutely perfect job. Highly recommend, even if you have to wait your turn, because they are popular!

I wish I could give zero stars to this contractor. We entrusted them with painting our home, only for them to turn out to be a complete disaster. After agreeing on the job, they had us drive 45 minutes each way to pick out a color from their affiliated Benjamin Moore store, which we did with high hopes. Little did we know, that was just the beginning of our nightmare.

After choosing the color, this contractor completely ghosted us. No response to our calls, texts, or emails—just total silence. It was as if they vanished into thin air, leaving us in a lurch. We were forced into a last-minute scramble to find another contractor, and thankfully, we did find someone who delivered excellent work. However, the stress and frustration caused by this contractor’s unprofessionalism were completely unnecessary and could have been avoided.

Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this contractor. They clearly lack respect for their clients and basic business ethics. Our experience was nothing short of infuriating and a significant waste of time and energy.

Loni & crew did such a fantastic job painting the majority of the interior of our home. They were quick, but they still had fantastic attention to detail! The whole crew were kind & courteous and worked hard to make a 3-4 day job into a 2 day job. Everything looks so fantastic. I thought their pricing was fair and worth every penny. I highly recommend LP Painting Services & Home Improvement. My only regret is that I didn't call them first! Three months after hiring the wrong person, I thankfully discovered LP Painting. Loni and his crew came in, and in 2 weeks transformed my old, tired 70s house into a beautiful, updated, upgraded farmhouse chic home, living room, dining room, family room, and kitchen. Not only that, our garage ceiling started falling in, and they completely replaced the ceiling in our garage. They were professional, prompt, courteous, and skilled. Also, they were fast! They came in and hit the ground running and didn't stop until the job was done and we were happy with everything. Initially, I had a little tinge of sticker shock at the quote, but seriously, when you consider the quality of work, and that you end up with something you love, it was so inexpensive. His crew takes time and makes sure your job is done correctly , lonnie the owner even does a walk through before you see it to make sure its correct and professional . Hes impeckable service , hes great at crown moldings and new dry wall my paint looks like velvet!!! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a paint job wether its small or large!!

Loni and his crew did an excellent job in our home. We had the whole house painted, crown molding, chair rail, and some other small tasks completed. This house was a double-wide so we also had all the drywall moldings where the drywall met removed, mudded, and taped so the walls would be smooth like any other home. Needless to say, even with all the challenges of the wall surfaces and angles, they did an excellent job. It did take a little longer than expected, but Loni made sure the job was done right and made daily visits to inspect work done. They even had no problems working around other contractors we had installing windows and doors. We would highly recommend LP Painting Services to anyone.

Can't say enough!! Lonnie and the crew did an excellent job taking care of things we needed done at Bethsaida Methodist Church in Brightwood Va. They sanded, primed and painted the metal roof. Glazed and painted the windows, painted the chimneys, exterior doors and foundation. Sanded and painted all metal hand rails.They also fixed the damage flooring in our restrooms, installed new flooring and painted the restrooms and main foyer.
Lonnie was great providing the estimate and scheduling the work and stayed with the job until everything was completed. When the job was completed the crew did an outstanding job cleaning everything.
Again Lonnie and the crew went above and beyond and it was great to have a contractor that did what he said he would do and more. Highly recommended

Loni came to the house to give an estimate. The estimate was fair and Loni seemed to want the job. I accepted the estimate and he promised to do the job in a week or two. When that didn’t happen, I called and he apologized and rescheduled. Again it did not happen. I called and rescheduled again. I have not heard from him since. If you can’t do the job at least let the customer know. Very frustrating as I need to find another painter and take more of my time getting estimates.

Lonnie at L&P is the best!! His crew is talented, hard working, friendly and courteous. I used L&P about 10 years ago to paint a few rooms in our home, and I’d never seen such pros. Wow…disappointing, dishonest and completely unreliable.
Loni and crew did a pretty good job with the interior of my 1920’s farmhouse, but were in some ways careless and half of the dining room looks like it was painted by a 3rd grader. I accepted his bid for the exterior painting at the same time, and Loni kept telling me I was still on the schedule but has never showed up or called to explain. Good riddance!

We needed the ceilings of the porches and overhang around our entire house stained. I was nervous about any spills on the stucco, so I needed painters who would be very careful. The crew that came to our house were very professional and worked quickly. We had ceiling, walls, trim and doors done. One day I hope to have the kitchen cabinets painted and will call them to do it. Loni and his crew did an EXCELLENT job on our house. We have an older home (built in 1955, my husband's childhood home) and it has different types of walls (some plaster, some sheetrock) with multiple additions which you can see where each addition was added. They were able to correct the flaws in the walls and ceilings to make them look brand new and continuous. They removed a wallpaper border without damaging the existing surface. (it was on there pretty good). The painting was flawless, paying attention to the complete covering of the prior bold color that needed to go. My husband was especially impressed with the basement step walls. He said it never looked that good when he was growing up in the house! All in all a very pleasant and stress free experience. Loni and everyone in his crew were courteous, very mindful of the furnishings in the house and just an overall pleasure to work with. I feel like we have a brand new house! Definitely will work with them again when the opportunity arises!

I found LP Painting as a result of the various searches conducted online. Lonnie was extremely responsive to our request for quotes for interior and exterior painting. He came out immediately and provided a comprehensive quote for all services we needed as well as recommendations for supporting service contractors as well. Once we pulled the trigger Lonnie was communicative and moved swiftly to set a date. His team arrived promptly , evaluated any preparation and moved swiftly to begin site prep, and touch ups. By the end of day two they’d finished our cathedral ceilings, two story foyer and common areas and all the doors and trim. Additionally, I work from home and the team had a strong respect for times I needed go through the work area and made sure they had a safe environment for my family.

Loni and team did an excellent job on the exterior of our home. Also, he repaired our wooden ramp and railing for a very reasonable fee. He has a great carpenter. Loni offers one stop shopping so that you don't need to coordinate contractors. DO NOT HESITATE to call him as he has so much painting experience that you are in good hands. He knew just what to apply to the nail heads that were leaving rust on our siding because the builders didn't use the correct nails. Loni didn't need to go to the paint store and ask questions like the other contractor that we got a quote from. Experience matters and it saved me time and money in the long run. He traveled from Culpeper to Haymarket for us and is looking for work in our area. He doesn't upcharge you if you live in a nice neighborhood. His prices were VERY REASONABLE and he is easy to communicate with as he wants to make sure the job is done right.

I can not stay enough about Loni and his crew. They showed great attention to detail and professionalism. We had the main floor painted including the 2 story family room and foyer, banisters, and outside window repairs. We had some painting to do and called 3 companies. Two companies came out to provide estimates, but never followed through on the work. When I called Lonnie, he responded that afternoon. He came by the house to give me an estimate and we arranged for the painting to be done the following week. We had two rooms and adjoining ceilings and a staircase to paint. His crew showed up and did an amazing job. When Lonnie inspected the painting on their last day, he noticed a small imperfection at the top corner beside a kitchen cabinet. He got a ladder and touched it up on the spot. He wanted to be sure we were satisfied and pleased with the work. I'm definitely calling Lonnie back in the spring to do some additional painting. Hired Loni and his crew to power wash, and paint the exterior of our home. They also rehung our shutters more securely. Had them replace the outside light fixtures, fix our gate and replace the mailbox post. They did a great job. Will be contacting them again when I'm ready to do the interior painting.

I had Lonnie come out and paint our 2 story foyer and the whole downstairs. Along with adding shadow boxes to our chair rail in one room. Lonnie kept in touch through the whole process and gave us an accurate estimate. I had to stay home during a portion of work and the workers were fine with me going in and out of the kitchen occasionally. very happy with the service we received from them.
