Can not say enough good things about Lewis! He was recommended by Mark with Stump Doctor, and called and stopped by the same day Mark gave him my information. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful with suggestions, is honest about expectations, and delivered exactly what he promised in a very timely and professional manner. My neighbors, and my husband and I, had struggled with this area of shared yard for years! Lewis removed the vegetation, small stumps, leveled it, seeded, and fertilized it. He installed this gorgeous strip of privacy fence in my other side yard. Couldn’t be happier!

He is nice but unreliable. I called & texted him several times to complete the job. He promised me that he would come back out and didn’t. I rented him a skidsteer. He then showed up and cleaned up the lot. While he was cleaning up the lots he broke 2 of my front windows. He said that he would replace them then ghosted me. This is unacceptable.

Cleared and graded area, moved large shrubs and replanted, removed limbs from trees as requested, spread gravel and cleaned up area. Very satisfied with his work and definitely recommend Lewis Carroll.

Friendly and knowledgeable about plants. Provided helpful maintenance information. Gets the job done in a timely manner and at a fair price. Sometimes a little difficult to understand over phone, but is very clear over text or email.

Came out right away to help me get my cat that was stuck about 45 feet up in a tree!! Also took time to help cut down a few branches on a tree that were dead. Highly recommend!

They did an amazing job to our back yard. We have been wanting to push back the trees that were cut 5 years ago and they were the only company to help us. We would recommend them for any lawn work needed

Lewis and his crew came and cut down an old locust tree which was in bad condition. He and his crew did a wonderful job with cutting and cleaning up the tree and area. Thank you all!!

Lewis removed a 30 ft + tree from my property that had been cut down. He was very conscientious when removing the tree and all the brush. He made sure to keep the tracks through my yard to a minimum, and cleaned up all the fall off debris along the way. The first day of the tree removal went later into the evening, after dark, so Lewis came back the next day (on a Saturday) to make sure all the brush had been picked up. I appreciate his dedication to detail and hard work. I would easily hire Lewis and STAR Tree for any future jobs.

Mr. Carroll was a pleasure to with him and his team. I am looking forward to working with him more in the near future.

Lewis woks hard and does a good job. He worked up till 8:45 pm that night to get worse part of job done before th rain cam.

A tree fell on my 89 year old mother’s house during a storm last weekend. Her insurance suggested Lewis Carroll through Angi List. I called him Saturday afternoon & he had his equipment @ her house within an hour. Successfully lifted the large tree off of the house & was able to put a tarp over the hole all during more hard rain. Lewis and his helpers were very nice and professional. We will definitely use them again!

I had a huge tree to fall during the storm and damage my neighbors fence and I needed it taken up right away and these guys were there the very next morning and took it down, cleaned up afterwards and even fixed my neighbors fence. I can’t say enough about how nice they were and how quick and how carefully they took it down. Thank you Lewis Carroll and crew!!

Mr. Carroll is life saver! We had a tree limb fall on our roof right before Thanksgiving. He worked getting it off in his schedule and came to help us in a very timely manner. I highly recommend him! Thank you again!!

I’d been contemplating removing a number of trees in my yard for a while and received a few quotes along the way, but after meeting and walking my property with Lewis Carroll, I felt very confident in “pulling the trigger.” He was extremely helpful and the quote was very good (a lot better than the others), which included taking 12 trees down, removing the stumps, and clean-up/haul away.

As I watched Lewis’ team work, I was completely impressed by how careful, thorough, and accurate they were, each tree falling in the perfect place and never a concern for my house/deck, the neighbors’ houses, my shed, or carport!! And after all was said and done, there was not a branch, stump or root to be found, and as I let Lewis know that I’d be seeding and strawing, he offered to pick up the seed, fertilizer, and 12 bales of straw for me. The next day, he dropped it off and several of his team helped me put it all down (at no extra charge). The whole team was a real pleasure to work with!

So, if you need tree work, there’s only one guy to call, and it’s Lewis Carroll!

Lewis was great to work with and did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. He was great communicating with me on the status of the job. I will use him again and definitely recommend him to others.

The team arrived on time and came ready to work. Bad weather hit but it didn't even slow them down. The entire team worked deep into the evenings to get my job done in a timely fashion. When they were finished the job was well done and my home was left looking like they'd never been there. I was impressed!

Mr. Carroll and his crew were very courteous, prompt, and obviously professionals in their trade. They gave a fair price and removed several large trees that were in a very precarious place. I was impressed that there were no snafus and they cleaned up after the job was done. Mr. Carroll accommodated some special requests and I would definitely recommend his business to anyone.

I needed a driveway put in my backyard so my disabled father could get in the side door easily. I asked Lewis Carroll if he could do it. Lewis Carroll said he could do the job and he gave me a very reasonable price. The driveway was completed the next day. Lewis Carroll did a professional job, he is very nice and he went above and beyond. We will ask Lewis to work for us again if we have any other jobs. I give him a 5 star and a big thumbs up!

Lewis was hired to remove maybe 30 stumps from our yard. He worked late days and weekends to finish the job. When it was all said and done, he came back and fixed any issues and seeded grass areas that needed it, without me asking. I would definitely use this service again.

Mr. Carroll cleared a large overgrown piece of property for me. He had to take down a few large trees and grind a few stumps in order to get the job done. The job went quick and smooth and the price was right.
