Legacy One Construction replaced 10 windows in the side porch of our 1927 home—a challenge, considering how nothing in a house that old is perfectly square or level. John and his crew were meticulous, ensuring the windows fit perfectly and met our expectations.

From the design of our optical boards, the intricate stone work and welcoming Roman arch, Jon was the designer and architect. We experienced a catastrophic flood in our kitchen last year. We called Jon Longo and his team of professionals at Legacy One Construction came to the rescue. His advice all along the way resulted in a beautiful new and modernized kitchen and an extremely pleasant experience. His team is skilled, polite and they left the house tidy after work every day. We could never have done this without him, I will always recommend Jon with no hesitation.

We built our home in 2004 which included a veranda off the rear of the house. It was an open structure without windows or doors with an aluminum ceiling. We asked Jon for his ideas to enclose the structure. Jon did a wonderful job of installing safety glass along with tiger wire for summer screening. He also removed the aluminum ceiling and installed a mahogany ceiling which is stunning. Jon also built a fantastic gazebo at the end of our pool in white with a wooden shingled roof and circular columns. The work at our home and others that I have seen are all grade A construction.

Not only did Jon Longo, and his team from Legacy One, do an amazing job of turning our dungeon-like basement into a modernized level of our home, Jon and team held our insurance carrier accountable by living up to our home insurance policy. Prior to the remodeling project, there was significant damage to our basement's entire infrastructure due to harmful storms. Jon and his team quickly and effectively handled the entire case and negotiations with the insurance company, making sure all necessary repairs were paid in full via the 3 required insurance claims. Ripped us off of $20,00, didn't have a license, didn't pull permits, lied to insurance company about work done, and the work that was done had to be redone. Walked out before anything he was supposed to do was done basically took 20 grand to do a roof(had to be redone) and part of a portico

We wanted to have a relatively small renovation project done on our house involving the demolition of a basement entry, matching and installing hardwood floors, and constructing new stairs in an existing closet and we chose Legacy One Construction. Jon Longo’s crew was outstanding and his subs did immaculate work. He ensured that every aspect of the job was satisfactory, correcting any problems as they occurred instead of waiting for a punch list. The one thing that I can say is that he is honest. He took total responsibility for all the work done on the project, even the work of his subs, and made sure things were right before closing the job. I don’t think I can adequately express in an online review what an amazing job Jon and his crew did on our kitchen renovation. Every time I walk into the new space, I smile - it’s literally everything I had asked for and then some. Jon took a very dated and impractical space and turned it into something I will never have to change for decades! His sense of design is top-notch, and his attention to detail adds extra touches and ensures everything is perfect. He worked within our budget, helping us realistically achieve all that we wanted to do. His crew was fantastic - obviously talented but also very respectful, trustworthy, and understanding, especially when the newest member of our family arrived early. Jon reworked the rest of the renovation schedule to ensure we had alone time with our new baby but also so that the project could be finished as soon as possible. It’s obvious that Jon cares about the quality of his work but also about his clients. We plan on doing several more renovation projects in our home, and Jon will be the only person we call. I’ve already recommended him to friends looking to renovate their homes.

Jon and all of his crew are excellent at what they do. They were very communicative, neat, and got the job done in the amount of time they said they would. Pricing was slightly off, but we were told to expect that up front, if something didn't work out. Due to weather some things need to be done in the spring, but I feel confident that they will come back and finish. I would HIGHLY recommend every single one of these guys! It was a pleasure to work with all of them.

Can’t say enough great things about our experience with Jon Longo and Legacy-One Construction! On time, on budget, exceptional quality, professionalism and worksite cleanliness! So very happy with our $50,000 master bathroom renovation/expansion which required removal of wall and rework of plumbing/ducts. Really appreciated Jon’s experience and vision to create a beautiful, modern bathroom fitting perfectly into our 1920’s Georgian-style home. Jon’s foreman, Jimmy, is a master craftsman and absolute joy to work with. The end product exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be using Legacy-One again! Highly recommend!!

We have a great old home that looks over the Connecticut River and up to the Berkshire Mountains but it was outdated. I searched for a contractor and interviewed several. Legacy One Construction was far the best. Jon the President worked with me in the planning stages to totally redo our space. We redid the kitchen, three baths, painted inside and out and had all the floors done. The workmanship was of the highest quality, the people who were at our home were careful and thoughtful. The best thing besides the beauty of the house when they were done was that they finished on time and on budget. I would highly recommend.

P.S. They were so good four months after they finished our house I had them back to do our lower level family room, additional two bedrooms and two baths and they were fabulous on this project as well.
