We worked with Lake Country to repair and replace some siding in preparation for new paint. It wasn’t a large job, but Graham was attentive and thorough throughout the bidding process. The work was completed on time and done well. We especially appreciated the attention to detail during cleanup—every last nail was picked up! We hope to work with Lake Country again in the future.

Lake Country recently added a pergola to our second story deck. It turned out beautifully. We are very pleased with the workmanship. Jake Soldo (project estimator) promptly answered our questions on the bid and verified with Mpls inspectors that our design would meet City building codes.

Jake and his team recently helped get my deck back into working order by replacing the posts. The whole process was very easy and Jake was extremely helpful and on top of everything. I will definitely consider using them again for future projects!

We had our massive front door replaced and our Project Manager, Jake, was excellent. The options we were given were high quality and there was no pressure to use one over another, or even to use their services. He was super responsive and detail oriented. He made our project go smoothly and everything worked as expected. The installation was performed to code/standards, including pulling the building permits and the installers were very personable and polite. We will be using them again for other projects on our house.

I have a home built in 1915. I wanted to restore it to its original glory by removing the aluminum wrapped trim and restoring the wood fascia and exposing the rafter tails as was original to the house. Workers were absolutely lovely and respected my gardens. Exceeded my expectations in every way!

I've used Lake Country a couple of times in the last year and they do excellent work. I had them replace the railing on my desk with aluminum and the guys that came out were meticulous and did the job right from the beginning. They also were patient with my curious homeowner questions which I really appreciate. I also had them repair the facia and boards around my garage doors due to rot. It was a relatively small repair but they got me on the schedule quickly and explained the work he had done and was very detailed in explaining the process.

I would highly recommend them for jobs big and small.

I got to work with Graham and his team earlier this summer to demolish and rebuild my backyard deck. I had such a phenomenal experience with them. -The overall customer service experience. Graham took the time to walk me through options with the deck (including all the pros and cons), answered all my questions, and developed a design that I was genuinely excited about.

-When issues came up, the team looped me in quickly, and communicated and took the plan to address it.

-Genuine care from the team. My grandfather passed away right as the work was starting. We rescheduled our kick off meeting quite a few times, and Graham was nothing but patient and compassionate.

I highly recommend this company. I needed three kitchen cabinets removed and new crown moulding installed. Graham and Mike were timely, friendly and knowledgeable and the project was expertly completed. I'm very happy with the results!

Recently had them out to repair rotten wood around our garage door. Very easy to work with and the project turned out great!

While removing the exterior trim, Lake Country discovered significant water damage to the front of our house due to the original construction. They ended up having to replace all the plywood sheathing and to install house wrap and LP Smartside siding. The crew worked productively. They got the job done in 3-4 days, and they always cleaned up the work area at the end of the day. Graham, the owner, and Jake, the sales rep, stopped by several times to monitor the work. Many of our neighbors were impressed, and they intend to contact Lake Country for their home improvement projects. We thought that the total price for the job was fair.

We utilized Lake Country Home Improvements to expand the deck on our home, and we are very impressed with the process and end product.

We started with Jake as our sales consultant, and he was up front, honest and gave us a great feeling for what to expect.

As we got closer to the start of the project, the communication was great. Even when there was a delay by a few days to start, the team was very communicative about how to rectify and still finished earlier than the originally agreed upon date. Their project coordinator gave us a heads up on deliveries and the work being done by the contractors led by Jesse, and the contractors worked incredibly hard on the project finishing in record time.

We love our beautiful deck, and are very glad we went with Lake Country for the project!

Contacted them to get a door installed for my basement which required framing the basement opening and moving an electrical outlet. From the outset there were some minor issues with how they took down my email that they couldn't seem to fix despite trying to correct it several times. I ended up giving them my wife's email as I can't figure out why I am unable to get an email from them.

Despite the minor email hiccup we decided to move forward with them. Once the work was started there was a minor misunderstanding during the installation on what size door was going to be used but the issue was acknowledged immediately and fixed very quickly. I was surprised at how easy that went all things considered.

Finished project came out incredibly well, so why the 3 stars instead of 5? It comes down to a lack of follow-up on other projects. During the door installation in February 2023 I asked if they would provide an estimate to fix some issues in my basement. They agreed and came and did the measurement for everything. I also asked if they would give an estimate for my kitchen ceiling which needs some minor fixes. That was in March 2023. After not getting either estimate for several weeks (months now?) I asked on April 7th if they were still interested in either job still because if they weren't they just needed to let me know. They apologized for the wait and said they were and they would get the estimates out the following business day.

Despite following up two more times since then I've yet to get any response or the estimate and am no longer interested in their services. If they didn't want to do the work they just should have said as much. It wasn't until I mentioned including this in my review that I was able to get any sort of response at all. A disappointing end to this process but at least I got a decent door out of it.

We had a new shower installed in the basement and we love it. It was more work than we thought and it took alittle longer then estimated but we'll worth the wait. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after everyday. Thank you for the amazing job so did

This company replaced our patio sliding door at the end of November. They did a wonderful job. This was a big unexpected expense for us and they worked with us to make it work financially. We had multiple people come out and do the measurements to make sure it was the correct size. We got the door quicker than expected. They were able to install even though it was end of November!!! Very good customer service. Highly recommend them! We hope to use their services for other projects in the future. One thing to mention (totally not their fault), but the sliding door was white and our house is brown on the outside. They matched the outside trim to the color of the house, rather than to the white door. I never mentioned we were hoping to repaint the color in the summer, so white would've made more sense. Again, not their fault at all! But just throwing it out there to make sure you discuss the details. They worked fast and independently, which would be a blessing to any working family. Again, HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

The painters did an excellent job and were so respectful of our home. I will use them for our next project of bathroom remodeling.
