Kinsley and Sons is the absolute BEST! I called on a Sunday, because our central air quit working and within an hour and a half a technician (Jim) was at my house. Jim worked quickly to fix our system and was very professional, kind and informative. Thank you Kinsley and Sons for having on call techs for emergency repair, especially on 100* weekend days!!

I recently had Knisely & Sons Inc replace a leaking water heater. They showed their professionalism and great service during the whole process. They charged based on an hourly rate but completed the whole process very efficiently from getting the new heater, driving to State College from Bedford, and then replacing and hauling away the old water heater. And, the customer service was very friendly and accomodating by squeezing my order in their work schedule the second day after I called, which was terrific considering there would be no hot water to use without a functioning heater. The final price was very reasonable and fair for the high quality work they provided in comparison with many others in the industry. I would highly recommend them for any AC and heating related job.

I called Knisely & Sons, Inc to review an AC system that was installed by another contractor b/c I was unhappy with the system and service provided by them. Understandably there was a wait for a tech to come out as it's the first of June. After taking measurements and doing a little charging the system was working better, but at my request they took some notes and measurements to give me an assessment of the system as the other contractor installed it. I was asked for a credit card and told that I would be billed for the visit and time spent working up the report and an estimate to redo what the other guy did wrong. I called back a few days later to find out what we were looking at and the tech was unable to provide any info as he wasn't able to work on my case yet. After waiting almost 2 weeks from the visit I called again to ask what the status was and they still hadn't had any time to work on the case. After that much time I was unhappy that they had not worked on my request at all, but was more so that I had to call them to find out there was no progress. I asked what the bill was going to be for the services already performed and was told I'd get a call back tomorrow with an amount. Not leaving a call, or the bill for that matter, to chance I asked for them to provide an amount immediately. The billed amount was fair for what little had been done. I understand being busy during the beginning of the summer season, but feel that a follow up call to me letting me know they where behind, rather than me calling them, was the least customer service that was warranted. I hope the best for Main Street, America business's over the Michael and Sons, etc, but feel this could have been handled better.

Best HVAC service in the area! We just had a new furnace installed. It was with Knisley & Sons. They did a great job on the install and were very friendly. They were willing to answer any questions we had. They gave us a better furnace model and thermostat than the quote was for, and they were happy to accommodate a few minor installation requests we had. One of the owners came by after the install to make sure everything looked good. He also taught us how to use the fancier 2-stage thermostat. The furnace has been running great now for a few months.
