As a subcontractor, I work with a lot of builders in Summit County. JVC stands out with a professional demeanor and great communication. They are timely and have high standards. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for true professionals.

JVC Consult was absolutely amazing! They remodeled my very beat up 1970s condo ("Before" and "After" pics below). It needed a lot of work and they were great about finding me deals so I could stay in my budget. Amazing communication and incredibly responsive. They even helped move my stuff in and out. We recently completed a large home addition with JVC, and we couldn’t be more impressed. This project kicked off in the middle of winter in the high Rockies—no small feat—and the team handled it with total professionalism and efficiency from day one.
From the start, they brought great design insight to the table and collaborated closely with us to shape a space that truly fits our lifestyle. One of the standout features is the custom music studio they built—expertly soundproofed, beautifully finished, and hands-down one of our favorite rooms in the house.
We also really valued their open-book, cost-plus approach. It made the financial side of the project incredibly transparent and stress-free. Every expense was clearly documented, and we always felt fully informed when it came to decision-making.
The workmanship throughout the addition is excellent, and their crew was respectful, communicative, and a pleasure to have around—even in the toughest weather. We’re absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend JVC for any major build or renovation.

These gentleman were absolute angels, they spent hours of their night helping us out of the snow without even asking. Very loyal men in any form you need. We can’t thank them enough!

We used JVC to bring our place back to life after a new boiler system was installed. They worked very hard and were successful coordinating many details and getting done prior to guests arriving. Grant was especially great to work with and made sure the final finish met his expectations. HIs customer service and attention to detail really showed and was much appreciated.

Our contractor, JVC was great before, during and after our project. Our community’s project involved an area around a compromised building stairwell and nearby internal structures. As a board member of an Association, living year-round in the community, I was very pleased with JVC’s team performance driven by their thorough can-do approach. The JVC team worked professionally with the board members, subcontractors and regulatory agencies. An example of this was when the structural engineer suggested one approach during preliminary evaluations. After reviewing the structural engineering reports, JVC proactively proposed to the structural engineer an alternative approach that met the structural requirements and was a significant cost savings to our community. Another example of JVC’s professionalism involves their good communication which is often not seen as an important aspect of any project by the contractors. The project manager often reached out to me and to other board members regarding a status, or milestone with the project. I recommend JVC to others without hesitation.

Rod was amazing, answered the phone right away, seemed like he had a lot of expertise and was very prompt on getting us an estimate for contractor work. He was extremely professional and gave us a very detailed report on what we would need. He definitely went above and beyond for us, which you don't find often here in the mountains! Highly recommend!

They did amazing full condo remodel for me. They are locally from the area. I was happy with the outcome. Later when a few questions and issues related to work arose they jumped on it right away. I do recommend them.

JVC, Rod, Grant and the entire team are amazing! They did a full remodel of my house in Breckenridge and I am so happy with the results! They made my mountain house dream come true. I loved working with them and appreciated all their advice and design esthetic. They also guided me through the challenging ADU process and have always been incredibly responsive.

JVC were exceptional to work with from start to finish. Rodney worked with us to redesign our log home plans for the complex mountain-side topography we have. The home was built in a timely and efficient manner with great cost and information transparency. Rodney, Grant and the rest of their team and their contractors were ultimately an absolute pleasure to work with and built an absolute beautiful mountain-side retreat and I could not recommend them and JVC more highly for those looking to build/renovate their homes

We added an en suite bathroom to our condo in Keystone, CO. JVC did an excellent job and we were very happy with their work. They also handled refurbishing two fireplaces in our unit which required close cooperation with the HOA due to external requirements of the new gas inserts. They are very professional .
