I had my oil changed recently and got a request for a review. I don't normally do reviews. I've never been on face book. I just happen to notice a nasty review from a disgruntled customer. I would like to comment on that.

I got out of college in 1989 and never made out a resume. I'm a little embarrassed to say I've never really had a job, at least not one where I had a boss. I've been self employed since then and had many different businesses, very few were successful.

The one thing that has been lost in most businesses is personal service, the eye to eye and handshake business that have almost disappeared. Jess Wales Motors is one of those businesses. They have gone out of their way to provide me excellent service.

That being said, I know it is also true that businesses make mistakes, and I cannot speak to any mistakes they have made in the past, I just know that they are friendly and fair and have never made me feel like I've been taken advantage of.

I don't believe there is any place for nasty reviews like the one I saw. We have a good court system. Judges are typically fair and impartial and if you got the short end of the stick, he/she will give you a judgement in your favor. Don't sit at home where you have nothing to lose and bash someone else who has spent 1000's of dollars to take a risk and try to run a successful business! IT IS NOT EASY TO DO!

Yesterday I took my 22 Chevy Equonix over to Jess Wales for an oil chg and tire rotation, they found a problem, gave me a courtesy car to use until the part came in, they called this morning that my car was ready, picked it up all is well. My husband and I have done business with Jess Wales chev since the 1990's they have always gone above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. I will always buy my cars from him. Him and his employees are the best!! Thank you Jess Wales!!

Jess Wales will sell you a rat infested car and not stand behind the product telling you that you are infact the problem. I bought a brand new 24 Equinox and started experiencing issues the next morning after purchasing. It is so infested my grandmother ended up hospitalized from the unsanitary conditions and we had atleast one snake find it's way into the interior of the car to catch the rodents. All pictures except the snake are from after Jess Whales "cleaned and sanitized" the car. They tore up the liner in the trunk area, not allowing it to line up properly anymore, and lost both screws to my cabin air filter box. I'm sure in time there will be more damages to find. After battling with them for months with no communication from the dealership or documentation for what was done to my brand new car Jess Wales, himself, met us at the door barely allowing it to shut behind us and basically told us we were no longer welcome at their dealership and that my house was rat infested not the car he sold us. I called Chris the Salesman at 12:30 pm on a Saturday one time. The only time I spoke to him after hours not knowing they closed at noon. Jess Wales told me to never harass his people again. This is unacceptable. We only went to him because he is 15 minutes from my home, and I wanted to do business with the little guy around the corner. I urge anyone thinking of using this dealership to do so with great caution. I am now stuck with a brand new car that has electrical problem, much of the insulation around the body of the car and seats eaten and destroyed, still with a lingering odor, and who know what health problems or mechanical problems are to come for my family.

Todd was extremely helpful in the process of building, ordering and purchasing my new Traverse. Easiest car transactions I have encountered. Kept me informed on the time line. Answered every question I had. Would definitely purchase another vehicle at Jess Wales. Excellent Customer Service.

It's great to go into a dealership in a small town and be recognized on a name basis. Service has been great!

we just moved here from texas i.e galveston were all the gm service departments are less than desireable. we were treated like family here @ jess wales. did there job very fast and effenacy and were @ home like we lived here all our lives. the lady @ the service department was just wonderful and reflected great credit on jess wales chevy and gm corp. as a whole

Needed a specific part for my transmission, there was only four in the US.Casey in the parts department not only had one, but shipped it to me in Michigan.The part arrived to my door step in 3 days. Can't fault the dealer for the sins of the manufacturer! Then again I stopped and looked at inventory after hours, so can't review the employees. As a former GM die-hard, GM doesn't seem to want me as a customer, and I don't seem to like any of their new products!
