Jeeves Handyman Services

Hi; I've used Geeves Handyman Services first in the fall of 2022, and again two weeks ago this early June 2025. Both times I had repair done, was a very good experience. Braulio and a young lady that assisted him came out and did a very good job with repairs, which was an exterior repair. I was impressed by the courteousness and professionalism of the work that was done. Thank you.

Osmel & associate fixed wheels of my portable dishwasher. With time remaining they volunteered to repair mail box post (in 100 degree heat.). Very competent and pleasant during visit.

Braulio was excellent. He fixed our two repairs efficiently and explained the issues involved very clearly. He was very detailed oriented and did no rush hrough he projects. I am glad we used Jeeve's services.

Worker was knowledgeable and handled the job well, but estimate from company failed to make clear there was a 2 hour minimum charge for each job. Factor that into your estimate of cost.

Jeeves remodeled our guest/kids bathroom about a year ago, and unfortunately, we had several significant issues during and after the project:
1.    Dust Contamination: The team cut all of the flooring tile in our garage, which left everything—our storage, tools, and belongings—coated in tile dust. Since both my wife and I work during the day, we weren’t present to monitor the process. They accessed our home using a contractor code on our electronic lock. When we returned home, they were finishing up for the day, but the garage was left with a thick layer of dust across the floor and all stored items.
2.    Tile Installation Problems: The tile wasn’t installed properly. Within a short time, the grout began to crack and some tiles became loose. To their credit, Jeeves replaced the affected tiles free of charge and did so relatively quickly.
3.    Plumbing Error with Serious Consequences: The wax ring under the toilet was installed incorrectly, which caused sewage water to leak beneath the subfloor. Over time, this led to water damage that eventually rotted through our garage ceiling. We discovered the issue when sewage began leaking into the garage and a hole opened up in the ceiling.

While they did respond to the tile issue, the overall experience was disappointing due to the lack of attention to cleanliness and the serious plumbing oversight that caused long-term damage.

This was my first time using the Jeeves Handman service. The scheduling was very easy (all done online). The handyman (Douglas) arrived on time and I walked him through the work that needed to be done (drywall repair and a re-attach something in the master bathroom). He immediately got to work and did a great job. I will be reaching out to Jeeves again for any future handyman work.

Alexander worked on multiple items and did an excellent job. Alexander is professional in every aspect. Also, when I called, I was scheduled for service within in a few days.

"No job too small" is what made me try Jeeves. I had grout and caulking issues. They sent an excellent young man who did a beautiful job and I could not be happier. I would select Jeeves again if I had a handyman-type job request.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!! We were told that our faucet was repaired. When we checked it , it wasn’t. I called three times and each time was hung up on. The gentleman who answered the phone was very rude. They are so unprofessional that I don’t feel comfortable speaking to them again and now it’s in my lawyers hands.

professional and experienced in the work he did. I am very pleased with the work he did and would recommend Jeeve (Jose).

Jeeves Handyman Services was a great help in a couple repairs I needed around the house. Wally was friendly, EARLY!, and did great work.

Joe was my plumber from Jeeves Handyman services. He arrived on time, installed my new sink perfectly and helped fix another sink that needed a little work, and got the job done for hundreds of dollars less than two other handyman service companies I called. Awesome job priced right!

Manuel, the handyman dispatched for my kitchen job was competent and polite and accomplished the task and cleaned up in a professional manner.

The team you sent to our house were very professional and respectful.   They communicated each part of the project clearly.   The job was impeccable and they cleaned after themselves.   Very pleased.   I have another project for the spring and will definitely reach out to you for a quote!

I initially reached out to Jeeves Handyman for an estimate, but they failed to show up. Afterward, I was hounded with calls from their office to reschedule, which I reluctantly did because I needed a complete project done; painting and installing garage shelves.

On day one, the technicians arrived late but were very professional and assured me they would return at 8:00 AM the next day to complete the painting and install the shelves. However, on day two, they did not arrive at the promised time. When I called the office, I was told they were actually scheduled to come between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM—clearly a scheduling issue, not the fault of the technicians.

At 2:30 PM, well past the scheduled appointment time, three different workers arrived. While they were very professional, they informed me they could only handle the painting and would not have enough time to complete the shelving installation due to their late arrival. Although the company offered me a fair rate for the second day after my repeated calls to express dissatisfaction, my experience worsened when the workers, who did not speak English, began working on unauthorized projects. When I pointed out that I had not approved the work, one of them responded that he did not speak English. Unfortunately, my project remains unfinished, and I am left uncertain about when or if it will be completed.

The core problem here lies with the office staff and their scheduling process, not the technicians, who were courteous and professional throughout. Unfortunately, the lack of communication, poor scheduling, and failure to deliver on their commitments make this a very disappointing experience overall.

I have been calling on Jeeves Handyman Services for about 20 years. Most of the technicians have done a good job, fixing whatever it was that needed fixing, and thinking through problems to find a solution. They have been professional and courteous. The latest Jeeves technician, Johnny, did a perfect job dealing with a number of items - cabinetry repairs, refrigerator grill reattachment, repair of oven warming tray (looking up the model and part to ensure he did it correctly), and checking outdoor wiring to see what needed to stay and what could be removed with no damage to anything inside and out. When I use Jeeves services it is often for a range of repairs - electrical, plumbing, woodwork, outdoor and indoor - and the job always gets done well. I will keep using Jeeves and will ask for Johnny next time.

Look elsewhere!!! Horrible experience with Jeeves and will never use or recommend them to anyone. Poor communication on their side resulted in me paying extra money. Tech was supposed to do multiple jobs at my property and only completed half of the work, then I was informed that a different tech would finish the other half at no additional charge. After the visit, I was informed that there would be an additional charges resulting in a significant increase in the cost of the service. Huge ripoff.

Jimmy is very skilled and competent. I’ve requested him for many years for various household needs. He always comes through with taking care of things in an efficient manner. He is also very courteous and kind. Would highly recommend!

I called Jeeves Handyman & I spoke with the ladies at the front desk. They were so sweet and send someone to help with the repairs at my home. The technician was very knowledgeable and fixed everything in less than 2 hours. Great service, good pricing, and good customer service. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs home repairs!

Although our first requested project is not yet finished, I can honestly say working with Jeeves is a pleasure! Sarah handles the phone calls professionally and friendliness and attention to specific needs. Service is more prompt than our previous handyman experience. Use this company!! You won't be disappointed.

If i could give zero stars I would. The tech was extremely rude. He walked into my house on a personal call and on SPEAKER phone. I motioned to him ( as I had my headset on) that I was working from home. He continued his call for another 5-10 mins ignoring my request. He then tracked mud /leaves into my home as he returned from retrieving some tools from his car.
The guy is so unprofessional...I'll save him from getting into deeper trouble as he proceeded to undermine his employer by offering some side deals.
I've used this company before and the other tech was not rude- just lacked basic manners when in someone's house.

Aparicio did a great job caulking my tub! I would definitely recommend him and ask for him when I need it done again or any other work. I also liked the fact that he wore booties when he came in since we don’t wear shoes on our carpet.

I used them to paint the railing on my porch. They came the next day and did a great job.

I had a front door that stuck shut and wouldn’t open due to swelling of the wooden frame after any wet weather. Jeeves took care of it, including taking the time to recheck and adjust the alignment of the lock and deadbolt after finishing. Everything has been working smoothly ever since. They arrived as scheduled and were very helpful.

I have had a great experience with Jeeves Handyman. They have advertised in my magazines for 20 years and they have always been a stable, reliable customer always available when you call.

Great customer service. I used Jeeves for a few plumbing projects around my house. A few months later, when I got something stuck in my garbage disposal, their team was kind enough to talk me through fixing it.

My previous one-star review of Jeeves Handyman Services mysteriously disappeared. So, here it is again.

My property manager hired Jeeves to do some minor repairs at my rental property in NW DC. When the tech showed up, they stated the HVAC unit needed to be moved for them to patch one area of drywall. They refused to do the remainder of the work order that was not near the HVAC unit. Unfortunately the tech's refusal to do the work cost me dearly, because DC failed an inspection the following week based on items that were in Jeeve's work order.

Bottom line is if you're looking for a dependable company, this isn't it.

Edit: Per my note above, you could have done the rest of the work order that was not near the HVAC. Have a blessed day as well.

Wally, the Jeeves Handyman, came to fix bathroom fixtures. In one bathroom, the shower has sliding glass doors. The top rail was so crooked, the doors would not move. Wally fixed it in 5 minutes. In another bathroom, he removed a towel bar, spackled the holes, and painted over it. Then he hung a new towel bar in a different location. He didn't make a mess. He was very personable and pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to call Jeeves again and ask for Wally.

We hired Jeeves to perform several odd jobs around our house, including painting shutters and repairing and staining our fence. Miguel and his team were very professional and completed all the work very efficiently and well. Miguel kept me informed of their activities and asked questions to ensure that his team would complete the requested work properly the first time. Excellent results.

Jimmy, of Jeeves Handyman Services, came to our house and repaired our back door. Jimmy was very professional and did the repair in short order. We would recommend Jimmy and Jeeves Handyman Services to other family members and friends alike.

Osmel did an amazing job. Was efficient, personable, and knew what he was doing. Going to request him when I need more work done.

We've used Jeeves Handyman Services several times. Most recently, I called to make an appointment to get someone to look at a clogged sink/malfunctioning garbage disposal. I was pleasantly surprised and incredibly grateful that the person I spoke to took time to troubleshoot the issue over the phone instead of immediately making an appointment. They were able to talk me through how to fix the problem, which saved me time and money. I was so impressed by that level of service and will definitely call them for future issues.

In the past, they've also done excellent quality work repairing a stoop off the back of our house. Everyone I dealt with was professional and efficient.

After conversing with two other contractors for my new condo in Columbia, where one didn't even show-up and the other one really over promised and I didn't trust them. So, I called Jeeves Handyman Services on a Friday. Ever, who is the dispatched Technician came on Saturday for an estimate and we agreed. The work started on the following Monday and was completed on Wednesday. I was satisfied with the result. Ever, the contractor also improvised on some of the plumbing tasks needed. In less than a week everything was done.

That was my first time dealing with Ever the Technician from Jeeves Handyman Services, I recommend Ever in particular from that company for any major work you need to have done, especially if you are on a schedule. He is also friendly.

Very professional..was able to set up an appointment immediately vs. leaving a message which was the case with two other handman I called. The work was excellent with Braulio and his assistant being respectful of my property. While the price was more then other places I called I know it was done right the first time. Will use them in the future if needed.

Wally was great. Everything works and looks really nice. He installed 5 blinds, doorknobs, and reattached my cabinet door. I would be happy to work with him again.

They came on time and Ever is the best - seems he can do anything! We will use them again for sure.

We had a difficult but small repair, Alexander came out and took care of it for us. One of our porch screens came undone in the recent weather, and he was able to reset and respline everything. Happy we found Jeeves Handyman to assist.

What an easy, quick and seamless process! Marvin was great. He quickly fixes my siding. I am ready to schedule my next Jeeves appointment!

Henry came when he said he would. He was friendly and did a beautiful job on both our kitchen backsplash and our two bathroom floors. We couldn't be happier with him and his work.

Great experience with Jeeves Handyman Service. I had a gutter that needed fixing. The team sent - Braulio and William - were excellent. They knew exactly how to repair it and did it expertly and efficiently. Very good price. I didn’t want to call a gutter company because I didn’t want to be told I needed new gutters that would cost thousands. I had received a Jeeves coupon in the mail and that showed they did gutter work. So I called and the same day, Braulio and William came to the house. Will definitely use Jeeves again! Thank you for such a great experience. Gutter completely working now and I’ve had several rains to test it!

Miguel did an awesome job replacing my kitchen disposal. He was very professional and efficient. I highly recommend this company.

I had a window contractor come to do an estimate for a replacement of the Attic window. Long story short he stepped through my ceiling. Jeeves was very quick to respond and send out Aparicio who was absolutely incredible to work with! He was pleasant and very professional. Took his time to fix my ceiling and now you can't even tell there was ever a hole there! A+++ work. I will be calling Jeeves again when I remodel my laundry space and I hope they send Aparicio again because he was that good and thorough.

Professional, skilled, great communication, meticulous, great eye for detail and respectful of property. Handyman Ever is simply one of yhe best. Also, from initial email to Jeeves, to the timely reply, to job completion, was a good experience.

Really pleased with Jeeves Handyman’s customer service and staff. They sent Alexander, who was wonderful to work with: Pleasant and professional demeanor, good communicator, and the final results looked great.

We have used Jeeves Handyman Services for several home projects and repairs over the years. Recently we had some water damage to our ceiling and Fredy came out and gave us an estimate both of price and time. He was very thorough in explaining what work would be done. On the day of the repair, he arrived right on time and did an excellent job repairing and repainting the ceiling. I would highly recommend Fredy and also using Jeeves Handyman Services.

I recently had a great experience with Jeeves Handyman Services. The communication with the office and our assigned Handyman Marvin was great. He and his crew member arrived within the scheduled time window and reviewed the list of tasks I wanted accomplished. They moved with speed and efficiency from one project to another and completed everything within the two hour time window. They were super pleasant and utterly professional. I would definitely work with them again.

We are so happy that we finally called Jeeves for help. Alexander Garcia was efficient and caring, making sure the garbage disposal was installed properly and no longer leaking.

We had a great experience! A hole in the wall was repaired and painted over so well we can’t tell where the hole even was. Handyman was respectful, professional, and efficient.

They were responsive and caring from start to finish . It felt they really wanted to help me , and they did!!!
I needed a few things done in an apt. before an inspection. They were able to accommodate me the same day. Will definitely hire again.

The technician did an excellent job on the apartment door. Before, I needed two hands to open it. I can now open it with one.
He also did a good job repainting the support board for the sink in the bathroom, when he didn’t have the materials to replace it.

Wally helped fix two nagging problems. Prior repairs by others did not last. Wally went the extra yard to ensure that did not occur this time. I am confident they will not and relieved to take these off of my To Do list. Plus, Wally was a pleasure to have in my home.

They had to come back a second time to fix a failed drywall patch and proceeded to charge another $400 to respackle and sand on top of the $600 I already had paid in order to fix it the first time. If it was done right the first time they wouldn’t have had to come back at all!!!!! They charged another $400 for the 2nd visit to fix the first fail because it had to be sanded, which I agreed to. What drywall job doesn’t have to be sanded? Absolutely ridiculous company that doesn’t stand behind their work. $1000 to do a simple drywall repair. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company. They will rip you off

I’m mad at myself for not calling them sooner. My closet racks fell a couple of years ago and I’ve been struggling to organize my clothes. I put a request in online and after a consultation, it was booked and that easy! Braulio arrived ON TIME, super professional! Advised me that the racks I have will eventually need to be replaced but he was able to work with the ones I have, hang them up on studs (like they were supposed to be) and told me some more options for a long term solution. Amazing!
