JC Surface Coatings just completed resurfacing the deck of our HOA/neighborhood swimming pool and the Board of Trustees couldn't be more pleased with the process, product and final results and cost.

Our HOA pool and deck are over 30 years old. Julio Cervantes and his crew took an old, ugly deck and made it look new! And they completed this work on time and on budget! As Treasurer of our HOA, completing the project on budget was a primary concern. There were no cost overruns or issues of any kind.

Julio did a wonderful job waterproofing my garage rooftop deck. I have about 540 sq. ft. that were not only beautifully waterproofed with a high quality coating with a ten-year warranty, but also given the perfect drainage solution and further protection with Julio's installation of a drip edge and metal flashing around all posts and on the parapet walls. I absolutely would recommend Julio and his services that were high quality and added tremendous value.

Juan is professional, trustworthy and did amazing jobs for both of our projects. First, we had him resurfaced our front porch. It looked amazing and we never had any issues with it. The quality of his work is stellar. So we decided to have Juan resurface our back patio. As expected, the patio looks gorgeous, clean, and perfect. Juan was referred to us by our neighbor. Julio did an excellent job of resurfacing my deck. He is very easy to work with. He put up plastic tenting so the rain didn't affect the project. Julio and his wife Clementina were very thorough coordinating with me and explaing the process.

Julio resurfaced a 600 sq ft flat concrete garage roof/patio that is appx 80 years old. We were very concerned since it was a somewhat complicated job that required him to build up a few areas in order to have the water drain correctly , install a large drip edge and seal the edges against a concrete wall and rough cut landscaping blocks.
I am happy to say that the garage underneath the roof/patio is dry for first time in most likely decades.
His attention to detail, timeliness, and communication was a pleasure to experience.

A concrete work that was botched by American made concrete a year prior. The concrete was creating a lot of dust despite constant sweeping. The dust was distorting my deck. It was such a relief I was able to find such a professional and reliable contractor Julio from JC resurfacing. He was always on time. He would come every morning and start the project at 8am and finished at 3pm. You can tell that he really takes pride in his work. He is very meticulous. I am so relief that Julio was able to fix my problem. Thank you Julio!!!

This review is long over due. Last summer 2020, we used JC Surface Coatings to redo a DIY on our back patio. They were professional, patient, and understanding as we described the situation and what we hope to achieve. The work was outstanding and finished earlier than expected.

As a result of our previous experience, we used JC Surface again for sealing & coating our new front drive way and stairs two months later. Once again same level of professionalism and attention to detail. They even came back to help with some touch areas which we identified after the initial completion of the driveway project.

Julio was very attentive to detail . The patio is built over one garage bay, had been poorly designed by the builder, and was consequently leaked sporadically for 20 years. Julio dug into the problem and was able to provide a comprehensive solution. A lot of hard work, but looks great, too!

After ending up with a terrible concrete stamp job on our new backyard patio from another contractor, we reached out to Julio to see if he could remove the coating and start over. Julio gave us a fair price for the job of stripping the previous coating and provided us with many choices for the new color as well as provided his recommendation.
