Only time will tell if the quality was worth the price. After having a lengthy discussion about the sloppiness of previous contractors and receiving assurances of clean execution of the work, I was surprised at the mess and lack of respect for the property. I understand the need to alter landscape to level out scaffolding, but I had to request that they come back to fill in the holes. To this day, 3 weeks after the work was complete I am still finding pieces of brick and motor in the flower beds.

They could have laid down a tarp to catch the debris, brought a leaf blower to blow the motor dust off the deck and filled in the holes when they finished - simple stuff.

Contacted J Corrigan about some needed chimney repair. The owner answered my call, and came out the same day to provide me a quote for the necessary work. Once we agreed on the quote, which seemed reasonably priced for the amount of work needed, he got back to me shortly to schedule a time and the next morning the work began. The crew arrived right when I was told, and they got right to work. The crew was professional and the workmanship looks great. The owner was on site, supervising throughout most of the job. I was so impressed, I had him give me quotes on various other projects. Highly recommend you give them a call if you need chimney repair.

Our 12’ X 18’ deck needed help. It is painted wood. Joe Corrigan was the only contractor to show interest in our problem. It amazes me how many contractors simply do not respond. Mr Corrigan’s communication was prompt and clear. We decided to also paint the exterior of our house for a great price. The prep work for painting our cedar shingles was painstakingly detailed and thorough. They rebuilt the stairs to our deck with an additional stringer for added strength. They also replaced 1/3 of the existing deck boards to make it really nice. I appreciated the attention to detail and Mr Corrigan’s commitment to the happiness of his customer. Highly recommended!

Joe and his team painted our 100 year old house (that was way overdue), repaired all the rotten wood and was a week ahead of schedule. The crew was not just nice, hard working and responsive, they made themselves as unobtrusive as one could when working 12 hours a day six days a week. There was not a single time when Joe or Ronaldo (sp??) who was a great foreman, ever said well....that’s not really part of the work. I met Joe almost 12 years ago when I contracted him and his team to paint my aluminum sided Garrison Colonial house white over the existing slate blue. I knew spray painting aluminum posed challenges and Joe answered all my questions, made a fair proposal and was able to start the job within a week. Joe told me the job wouldn't be done until we were 100% happy with the work. The crew was professional, prompt to arrive, neat during the work day and cleaned up every night. After completion the house looked fantastic, and 12 years later still does.

Joe has been back to replace the wood trim on the house with AZEK...also a fantastic Job! Most recently, I asked Joe to replace a few soffit panels that had been damaged. We were out of town at the time and his proposal, my acceptance and my payments once he completed the job was all done electronically, something I would never have done with anyone else. Yes he did text me pictures as the job progressed.

Joe and his crew were great during the exterior painting of our home. Joe came by a couple of times to help with selecting a paint color, and even sent someone out from the local Sherwin-Willams to advise. The job was done in a week, in a timely manner, and looks great. Complete professionals from the very start. Highly recommended. The cost was fair. We'll use J. Corrigan again for any house needs.

I hired J.Corrigan to paint the exterior of our house in West Hartford, replace the gutters, and install two new picture windows in our family room - windows that another contractor did not complete the installation of. Joe and his team were professional, polite, neat, and very thorough in all phases of the work performed at our home. The amount of preparation they did prior to applying the pain was quite extensive, and was clearly reflected in the final product -- which was by far the best exterior paint job we've had as homeowners for over 30 years.
