To my surprise, shortly after discussing the roof, what Home Guard does, what materials they use, their warranty, and their price, I was scheduled for the job.
The team showed up on time, as promised, and the work began at a pace I didn't expect. I didn't expect the team to be so professional; throwing the used materials into the container, cleaning the yard, and collecting nails.
I did an inspection, a few days later, on the roof, examining the work, paying attention to similar points on the roof, and everything looks uniform.
I have to admit that the work is done professionally.
Personal, from my point of view, I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for roofers.
The first project, replacing the gutters, went smoothly and was completed on schedule. The second project was found when one of the old gutters was removed, and the fascia board and part of the carport roof was rotted. When James came out to review the scope of the work, he explained everything that would need to be done, and added in an additional fascia cover on the A-frame of the carport per my request. James and Dom did a great job of completing the work, and the clean-up. James also confirmed that he had found the cause of the rot, and added extra runoff pieces to ensure the water/rot issue wouldn't reoccur. I deducted 1-star for the slow communication regarding quotes and when the work would be scheduled. This may just have been because the work needed to be done in their busy season, and was a repair versus a full roof job. Once contacted, both Freda and Geoff responded the next day, so that was appreciated. I will recommend Homeguard to anyone looking for roofers, or gutter upgrades.
