Bill is an amazing contractor and person. It really shows how much he cares about his work because everything is done to the highest quality, down to the tiniest details. We had Bill build an extension to our house which was an extensive project that included 1,000 sq. feet of interior space and 1,000 sq. ft of decking. He's really easy to work with, is conscientious of the budget so doesn't make decisions lightly and always communicates what's happening at every stage of the project. It was evident that other sub contractors enjoyed working with him as well as nearly everything was completed on time, if not early. I have never seen that with a construction project! He worked with us to get us something that we wanted while also helping to ensure that we were considering all the possibilities. He's very knowledgeable about building to code and what works and doesn't, so we never had to worry about making a stupid design decision. Plus, Bill cleans up everything afterward rather than leave a mess in his wake. Again, you don't often find a tidy builder but that is Bill, someone who truly cares about his work and wanted to create a nice space for his clients. For any future building work, we would 200% bring Bill on and I would recommend him to anybody else without any hesitation.

Bill was on time, on budget and his work is excellent. Add to that he's a really nice guy! Not sure what elso you could ask for in a contractor. Highly recommended.

Bill completed a transformation of a very outdated kitchen and bathroom, in our older home. He brought our vision to life, while offering up great perspective on options for the changes. Remodels are challenging when original construction leaves a little to be desired. Bill overcame those obstacles and really delivered.

We have worked with Bill extensively over two years including two complicated remodels and three substantial carports. In each case he worked with us to realize our goals and find creative solutions that fit our space and budget. It has been a pleasure to work with Bill. Maria Converse & Jeff Hardy

Bill showed up, told me what he was going to do. Did it, did it for less than I was thinking it would be, and he did it great. My porch roof can now withstand anything short of a volcano. Highly recommended.

Hired Guns is the best! Bill was so easy to work with and did great work. I let him make most of the decisions and my cabin turned out so much better than if I’d made them myself (which I really appreciated). Definitely recommend him!

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
