In Rod we trust! He is an absolutely top-notch contractor who you can entrust with any of your home needs. His attention to detail is second to none and he ensures everything is done correctly. He has worked on multiple projects for both my house and my boyfriend’s houses. The projects include a bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel, floor refinishing and installation, roof replacement, chandelier installation, and most recently a deck installation. Yes, he’s pretty much rebuilt both our houses and there’s nothing he can’t do. He not only listens to your needs but will interject if something is not feasible but will always try to accommodate your requests. Although I selfishly want to gatekeep him for myself since we still need him for a few projects , I cannot recommend Highlander Remodeling enough. You will not be disapponted.

Roofing- Highlander Remodeling is very professional company. Every step along the way they were knowledgeable and informative on what needed to be done when replacing our home roof. They set dates,times and we're prompt with delivery, then cleaned up leaving no trash behind. Our home looks refreshed again. Thank you. We will definitely reach out again.

I have had the pleasure of utilizing Highlander Remodeling for several years and they never disappoint! In my last post I shared my experience about Rod remodeling my master bathroom and now I wanted to share about my experience remodeling my entire main floor. As always, Rod was incredible. He took the vision of our interior designer and successfully delivered a high-quality product that we love. He has a great personality and a vast amount of expertise which translates to a great experience and results every time he lends his service. He was able to transform our dated kitchen to a modern masterpiece. Thanks again Rod and we look forward to working with you on near future projects. Rod was fantastic to work with. We are extremely happy with our newly finished basement and new bathroom. The finished job is more than we could have dreamed for.

We contacted Rodrigo based on a recommendation from a friend of ours who has worked with him several times. We contracted him for a full bathroom remodel that involved stripping it down to insulation and concrete and starting from scratch. From start to finish Rod was excellent about working with us on design decisions and he even went with us to show rooms to help pick out tiles and vanities and transported all of the materials. He was receptive to our input while providing his own expertise which made the process much easier. It might have taken a long time, but he was diligent and made sure every detail was right. Because we were happy with him and his work we decided to hire him for a full interior repainting, full kitchen remodel, new bedroom carpet, and new pergo floors. Our entire house looks brand new and will probably resell down the road for enough to cover most of the remodel costs. After we save a little more, we will definitely be using him to remodel our other bathroom.

Work on house roofing was of great quality, and gave a fair price based on the quality of the finished product. I recommend contacting Rod for future remodeling needs.

We just recently bought a house in Woodbridge and decided to do an update to the only Full bath. We contacted Highlander for an estimate and decided at the estimate that we wanted to go with them. Rod was very thorough and very knowledgeable. He made sure we were comfortable with the Process and updated us through it. His attention to detail is unparalleled! He completely updated the plumbing that looked like it was pieced together by goblins. The tile work was PHENOMENAL! It turned out exactly like we dreamed. His finishing was also amazing. The details is where most contact eta cut corners but he didn’t in the least. Definitely the best contractor in NoVA. Give them a call and thank me later

Rod and his team did a great job remodeling our bedroom.

During quote phrase, Rod was very thoughtful and make couple good design suggestions about the project. The price was very reasonable.

He was very kind and responsive to our questions and change of requests. He updated us daily about the progress of the project and what's coming next, so we felt very informed. We also asked for couple minor fixes not related to the project, and he helped without hesitation and didn't ask for extra charge.

UPDATE: We are having work done on an adjacent room and the team doing that job uncovered that the wrong type of pipe was installed for the washing machine and it was actually leaking water into the bathroom on the shared wall. If we had not had this work done we never would have known.

Obviously I don’t think this was done intentionally but it was a substantial mistake nonetheless.

Rod and his crew did an amazing job remodeling our laundry room. He came promptly for an estimate and took the time necessary to fully understand the project before offering a quote, which was very competitive among the four we gotta.

Once we'd decided to work with him he scheduled the work quickly and worked with us to source the parts and materials, regularly checking in to make sure we were comfortable with everything and knew what to expect.

The work went smoothly and was completed within the time frame he expected, even around the holidays, and the finished product looks amazing. He was always available via email and text which is super convenient.

We got Rod's name from a local Lowe's company. Rod has a passion to make your home beautiful and to make sure you, the customer, are very pleased with the results. He takes pride in his work and as a result he is fastidious about every little detail. Although we did not hire Rod to design our kitchen, he was very generous with his time by helping us make decisions about cabinets, cabinet knobs and handles, and a granite counter-top. Rod and his employees are very personable and courteous. Even with all the dust remodeling creates, Rod makes sure the rest of the home was not affected. We needed to prepare our home to be put on the market. After talking with Rod, owner of Highlander Remodeling, a beautiful, our completely new Master Bathroom & Vanity Area was impeccable. We soon found out our contractor, Rod, was a perfectionist.
We had the following done: inside painting with trim; 4 other bathroom fixtures/mirrors replaced; new carpet; repairs done then asked for dry wall and cabinets to be installed in the garage.
There seems to have been more things we added to the list and Rod was gracious to accept our many challenges. He even moved our furniture to paint and install the carpets which wasn't an easy task.
Should you choose Highlander Remodeling to do work for you, be prepared to wait for it to be done correctly. Sometimes it is not him but the builder's poor quality. Rod will correct the problem.
