The best option I’ve found for fixing roof or siding leaks, they’re fantastic at it. Also cheaper than others because they won’t tell you to replace the whole roof, they just find the actual problem and fix it PERMANENTLY!!

They’re also experts at exterior restoration of older houses — they did an absolutely beautiful job restoring and replacing old cedar shingles and wood window frames on our ~1910 built house—it looks incredible and is probably going to outlast us. I’ve never seen another contractor with more integrity, skill and dedication to doing lasting, beautiful work!

Horrific experience - TLDR = do not use Hart!
Ken Hart ran up a 5-figure bill while continually refusing to provide estimates and without giving any heads-up on the amount he intended to charge. When we protested, he threatened to file a construction lien on our home. Completely untrustworthy - buyer beware.

Ken and his team know their stuff!! From roofing to carpentry to masonry, they have done it ALL at my house! Their work is beautiful and thorough. Their professionalism is top-notch. The team is hard working, kind, and always cleans up after themselves. Unfortunately, after living in my Maplewood home for 41+ years, I have definitely come across those in this field who are not trustworthy and cannot believe that it took me so long to find Ken Hart / Hart & Sons! Sure, I've seen their signs, but our paths took this long to cross and I can only say that I wish it had happened years and years ago. Ken and his team are trustworthy and experts in their fields!

Want specifics on what they have done at my home? Here you go: replaced my garage roof, patched my slate roof (on my house), removed rot and re-supported a huge portion of the front of my house, redid my front steps (looks beautiful) which includes slate, stone, and cement, repaired a corner of the house (you wouldn't know it is new!), rebuilt a window well higher to prevent heavy rainfall coming into basement, and much more.

If you are in need of repairs that include roofing, carpentry or masonry, call Ken! I couldn't be happier and have his number on speed dial. Can't say enough good things about Ken and the Hart & Sons team!

Unbelievable rip off. They came to inspect a partially blocked chimney, removed a couple of bricks and charged me $1900 for two hours work. Then they had the nerve to try to sell me on additional uneeded work. I had a similar situation 6 months ago at a different location and was charged a reasonable $250 by an honest company. I should have used them this time. Run away from Hart fast.Never never agin
