I contacted Harmon & Harmon because I had a botched remodel of my bathroom and needed it fixed. The response to my call was immediate and the time between estimate and approval was a couple days. The work took 3 days and it is beautiful!! Amazing work by hard working employees and I won't hesitate to call them when I'm ready to do my kitchen. I highly recommend Harmon & Harmon

We called Dennis around 6pm on March 3rd, 2025 for a foundation repair we needed before we could close on a home sale sceduled for 3/11. He had an inspector out the next morning by 7am. They had the repairs done on March 7, 2025 and provided us the paperwork documenting the repairs quickly as well!
I am blown away by their work, compassion and communication. I called Dennis probably about 10 times over the course of their work with us and the 2 or 3 he didn't answer were returned within 10 minutes! Despite my very limited knowledge of anything to do with a foundation and little information about the work we were requesting to be done, he was able to answer all my questions and concerns with confident and informed responses.

We called EVERY company near and far to our home in Shelton and were told we'd have to wait MONTHS for even an inspection from most. But Dennis understood our urgency and had someone to our house in LESS THAN 12 HOURS for the inspection/estimate and the work done in 5 DAYS. Absolutely unheard of and so so so much appreciated.

I highly recommend Harmon & Harmon for any home renovation or construction you might be planning. I hired them for some fixes and upgrades around a house I just bought, including a major renovation/upgrade of my entire attic. The attic was completely unfinished... bare studs, dark, completely unused (even for storage). Dennis Harmon recognized the potential and started a pretty incredible project of completely upgrading it to a fully finished, usable space. It now has a beautiful composite wood-grain floor, fully finished (drywall, texture, paint) walls and ceiling with recessed lighting, and independent climate control with a mini-split unit. My attic went from being a huge, unused space to an awesome extra room for my kids. There is now a big screen TV and huge sectional couch in one area, an extra walk-in closet & storage nook for my wife, and a nice gabled window area (Dennis added the window) with a water view.
Dennis is a 100% honest, 100% reliable, straight-shooting guy who will follow through and get the job done right. His workers and subcontractors were excellent. If I had an issue or a problem, he addressed it immediately and made things right. I couldn't recommend Harmon and Harmon more highly... good contractors are hard to find, but Dennis and his team are the real deal...an absolute winner. A+, 10/10!

We hired Harmon and Harmon to do a complete kitchen renovation for our home and they did an amazing job. Wade (the carpenter) was very precise and punctual and was very good with the cabinets. I've worked with other contractors and they're are to reach most of the time, but Dennis will get back to you within the day. And the timeline they drew for the kitchen was very close to what they estimated to finish. Overall I am very impressed.

Christian and Ted worked on a home repair for my husband and I and they did an outstanding job. They thoroughly communicated with us, led us through next steps and provided us with pointers where we had some additional questions. The work they did for us was top quality given our budget restrictions. My husband and I are first time home owners, and our home needed a lot of help to say the least. Everyone on the Harmon & Harmon team did everything they could to support us through the repairs and we are so grateful. Could not recommend them enough.

Harmon & Harmon were great to work with! They took our unfinished 1977 house and created the home we've been waiting for! If you ever get a chance to use Harmon & Harmon, you wont be disappointed! If you have tile work that needs to be done, we hope you get Lazaro to do the work. He is an artist with tile! As far as finish carpenters go, Ash & Kristina spent 3 weeks with us and we loved them. Very friendly, respectful, and detail oriented! We had a few small issues with a couple of the sub-contractors, but Dennis Harmon and his right-hand man, Wade Wentz, went the extra mile to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Thank you so much! We love our home!

So happy to have found Harmon and Harmon at the Tacoma home show. George, Jose and Christian did an outstanding job building our 1600 sq foot deck. They were always friendly and listened to any questions or concerns I had. They cleaned up at the end of each work day as best as could be expected at a on -going construction site. They arrived on time which can be a challenge as we live on Vashon Island so they were at the mercy of a long drive plus a ferry to reach us. The deck is beautiful and no more annual maintenance. They helped us move the hot tub back into its place under the gazebo and move a couple of very large potted plants back into their original spot on the deck. They were here one day shy of a two weeks (5 day work week). I would not hesitate to have Dennis Harmon give us a bid for a bath remodel. So excited to have my deck back. Will hate to say good bye to the guys.

Harmon and Harmon Construction replaced our porch facia trim and trimmed out our 14 post for the patio. I want to thank Dennis and his crew for a job well done. I only wish I had known about them for previous jobs. If you’re considering a remodel, maintenance or painting I would look no further than Harmon and Harmon. An Uncle of mine used H&H for a project at his house. He will not stop recommending them to other friends and family that are thinking about hiring contractors for their projects. He said they were dependable, on time, quick to respond, and the work was some of the best he’s ever seen.

What a wonderful experience we had! Dennis Harmon was prompt, quick in response to my and my wife’s need to engineer floor support for a medical hospital bed weighing 900 lbs to get our home ready for that extra weight.

His engineer came out figuring out exactly what we needed for a materials list for the workers to purchase on their way on the next morning to use for our project! release needed for materials list for the two workers to come that NEXT DAY!

They arrived on time, did a precise job to my and my wife’s satisfaction. The price was right in the end. We will use their services over and over again!!!

Having been Owner's Engineer-in-Charge Construction (Public Works) and the The Contractor's Professional Engineer responsible for Contract Documents (large building construction) - we did a walk around, got their insights, and an estimate. Trees removal, deck rail remove and replace with metal roof deck cover, ice dams on metal roofs, stairs banister, door remove replace, new gutters house and garage = excellent work and actual cost very very close to estimate. They also performed extra work = new toilet and grab bars, new gate, replace rotted window trim with rubber barrier = good price. Very easy to work with, professional, cleaned up after. I don't usually pay others to do work for me as I never feel I get what I pay for or that the work wont be what I consider quality. But I tell you what the two gentlemen that did the siding on my home weren't playing around. They got right to work with no time wasted and the work was very well done. Definitely will do buisiness with in future and recommend to others.

Been working with Harmon and Harmon for a couple years now. Great company to work with and great group of guys.

I had a water leak at my house that caused me to involve my insurance company. Two contrators came out and one gave an estimate but the second refused to do the job. John Erwin Construction sent me an email saying they were "too busy " to even estimate the job. The insurance adjuster was hard to get a hold of until Dennis contacted him. Thanks to H&H everything got done beautifully. We had good communication and excellent work. We did have a hiccup with the flooring but was kept notified of what was going on the entire time. Would recommend to friends and family.

Overall work was completed with skilled laborers. I have no problems with the quality of work completed. I felt the price for services was too high. Communication between staff and customers could have been better.

They did a great job. Even with the worker shortage, they communicated when and when they weren't going to be there. The dig out for the drive and all the gravel was just as we wanted.

Did a great job by having us double check what we needed for the reinforced edges of slab for the size of the building we were putting up. If they hadn't known their stuff we would have had issues with our building.

Inspector didn't see reinforcement before slab was poured but photos we took showed they did what was needed and inspector gladly signed off just from the photos.

Took a bit to get going and a bit to get the apron done after slab was poured but based on the other people we've been dealing with, H&H stand out above because of the pride they took in their work and the communication.

First of all, I want to thank Dennis Harmon of H&H Construction for the wonderful job that was done and completed on time on my custom home renovation project. The project encountered many obstacles such as supply shortages, subcontractor delays, and increased costs during the peak period of the 2021 Covid 19 restrictions. And I also want to mention that the communication between the builders and I during the renovation was done when I was living in Hawaii and the work was being done in Lacey, Wa.
Thus, we did have some gliches of comminication with the contractor and the subcontractors. However, Dennis remedied the miscommunications and errors and even discounted some of the costs of the materials and work performed. I must also add that Dennis also enlarged the concrete patio flooring and resurfaced it with smooth stone at no cost.

To make a long story short, this quality custom renovation has
increased my property value to fifty three percent. I am pleased with this home renovation an recommend H&H Construction for any home building and renovation.

We had several projects completed without complications and the end results are amazing! Professional, personable, timely, and high quality in all areas! Will use Dennis and his crew always and we highly recommend!

Sierra stone was applied as an overlay on our ugly cracked driveway, and over awful old aggregate in our courtyard area. It was all transformed into something beautiful!! We love how it looks and our friends are so impressed with the transformation. We give a 5 star for promises fulfilled!

Harmon and Harmon did a great job repairing our bathroom and installing a tile shower. Only issue was they did a rushed job putting the bathroom back together they did a rushed job. Had to remove and redo some trim and fix some walls that were damaged during the repair.

I would not recommend this company and I will never work with them again. The communication was terrible, they never showed up when they said they would, Dennis was so abrasive I ended every conversation in tears, and they shorted me 102 sq ft of patio even though I had a signed contract and paid the full cost. They also kept changing who I was supposed to make the checks out to throughout the whole project. I’ve done work with other contractors many times before and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.

Dennis and the crew built us a small home/cabin. The cabin is beautiful, they did a great job. This was a “side job” for them, so took longer than we would have liked. The quality of their work was excellent, they were accessible and worked closely with us. Due to extreme increase in cost of lumber and supplies in 2020-2021, the cost of the project at least doubled, but that was about poor timing for us, not about Harmon & Harmon.

We used Harmon & Harmon to have our wheel chair ramp for our son installed. Even after they were finished and our HOA complained about 2 inches on the sidewalk, they came out to remedy the issue. Very responsive, and very pleased with their work.

I thought they did a great job. I love the remodeled kitchen and bathroom. Scheduling was not always ideal, but everything got done in a timely manner.

Harmon and Harmon was great to work with. They were extremely responsive and open with discussing costs and potential fixes for our situation. They were able to repair our uneven subfloor and foundation issues and install new flooring at a fair price. We were fit into their schedule sooner than I would have expected and their work was quality and fast. All employee interactions were pleasant, shout out to Dallan, George and Levi! We would definitely hire them next time we need a job done.
