We used Grindstone to replace a roof after severe wind damage. They were very responsive to all communications, and they worked with the insurance company to coordinate the cost of the new roof. They got up on the roof the day after the storm to assess the damage and to determine if the roof needed covering. Because our insurance company (Farmers) was so quick on handling the claim, Grindstone was able to start a few days after the storm. They started on a Thursday and were done by the end of the day Friday. 5 days from storm to new roof. The end result is just gorgeous too. I am extremely pleased with this company for all aspects of the process from working the insurance to the quality of workmanship.

We had our roof replaced back in 2018 and his crew did a fantastic job on replacing the roof and all the clean up afterwards. I've even reached out to Jonathan over time just to ask for other recommendations, such as gutter repair after a lot of rain recently (which had nothing to do with the roof) and he sent over a handyman who came and made the repairs at no charge. Jonathan is very reputable and has good connections as well. I have really appreciated him going above and beyond!

Jonathan found and fixed our pesky leak quickly and efficiently. I appreciated his professional approach and courteous manner. Full disclosure: He charged me nothing, and requested an online review instead. I intentionally waited, to make sure no flaw surfaced in the repair. After waiting far longer than I intended, I can happily still report there has been no recurrence of the leak, and it was a job well done.

I haven’t ever been more satisfied with a contractors job from start to finish. Joseph, the roofer, went above and beyond to give us the best job possible.
