My wife and I contacted 3 different roofing company for quotes. Despite having a higher price than the other 2 companies, we were most impressed with the quality and thoroughness of their inspection report and quote. It contained images, comments, and notes from the inspector as well as cost breakdown. Mark Anthony, the project manager, was also diligent and followed up with us. He was very patient through out the negotiation process and the delay in our response. He answered all of our concerns and ensured us they will be addressed. Our main concerns were with the debris that may fall into our attic, since our house didn’t have plywood installed and the demolition process would remove all of the shingle layers down to the roof frame. Mark also agreed to include fixing up our leaking patio roof and minor patches to the chimney as part of the work included.

Come work week, the entire tear down and replacement were done over 3 days: tear down, plywood installation, and finally underlayment and shingle install. The demo crew showed up at 9am on the scheduled day and completed the full tear down of 3 layers and clean up by 3pm. There were at least 10-15 guys on the roof working non-stop. The debris around the house was completely cleaned up beside the ones fallen into the attic. When Mark came by to check on the progress, I asked him if there was anything he could do and he reassured me it will be cleaned. The next day, a member came by to remove as much debris as he could before the install crew arrived. I was satisfied.

The plywood install crew showed up at 7:30am the next day to start on the plywood install and finished by 4pm. On the last work day, the GLR team showed up at 7:30am again and completed the full install by 5pm. I got to meet with the owner, David Reyes, on the last day. He was a very hands on and knowledgeable. We had a nice chat about roofs and he recommended other contractors we were looking for.

I was very impress with the quality of the GLR crew. The professionalism and workmanship is top notch along with good warranty. Also important is their attention to customer concerns and efforts to accommodate/address those concerns.

From my first interactions with Mr. David Reyes, he was professional and thorough. He provided Google Earth footage and camera pictures of the areas to be worked on and clear quotes ahead of time. He was precise and timely in negotiations and was extremely flexible whenever parts of the job out of his control delayed his work. During the process, he uncovered, termite damage wood and handled the change and challenge seamlessly and even was able to assist with internal repairs from rain damage during hours. I chose Green Ladder to replace my roof because it was old and I also am Installing solar panels. They are one of the few companies that came recommended by my solar company. They do great roof work all by itself at a competitive price. They also will install special brackets for the solar panels before they are installed. They work well and they work fast. They also did a good job of coming back to check their work and take care of small things after the roof was installed. I highly recommend.

Green Ladder was the first one responded to my inquiry. Mark showed up on the same day, did a thorough evaluation of the roof and made some helpful recommendations. Recently i ad my flat roof replaced by Green ladder Roofing comaany, Mark helped me from the begining till the jobs is done, great communication with him and David, highly recommended!

I had to keep an eye on the job and some coaxing to make sure it was fully completed but the end result was excellent. The roof withstood El Nino rains with no leaks. I will definitely work with them in the future. I had to downgrade the rating to 4stars because in the recent windstorm, I discovered that no edge flashing was used at all. So all the edge tiles got blown off and the edge of the TPO roof is just flopping around. Poor mistake!
