Green Acres Landscapes

I called Green Acres Landscaping to remove a mountain of building demoed material. His company did a wonderful job and the quote was very reasonable. Shawn is a very nice young man who wants to leave his customers satisfied.

Googled lawn care and this company came up, I called and within an hour Shawn was on my property giving me an estimate. He was able to start with what I needed to get done that very day. Great work, looking forward to doing business with this company in the future!

The owner is very nice and gets the job done. I’m pretty well pleased with the work, and mostly with the clean up. I would hire them again.

Whether it’s just Shawn showing up or with the crew. They can a will handle a zombie apocalypse let alone some good old fashion hard work in order to help someone.I am a witness

As far as yard mowing, I can attest to the fact that he is committed to doing whatever it takes to get the job done. Seems like he has wonderful work ethics in all he does. I would recommend this company based on the work this past summer and fall.

Shawn has been such a blessing for my elderly Dad! We had a different lawn care company coming to care for his yard the last couple of years. They passed him off to another person this spring. We had a couple of issues including damage to my dad’s garage. I thought everything was straightened out but, long story short, for a period of five or six weeks the owners of both of those companies avoided my calls, ignored my messages, and did not show up when they had promised to. I was beyond frustrated and tired of the lies.

My dad’s yard had not been mowed in well over a month. I called several places trying to find someone who could mow my dad’s yard at an affordable rate. He is elderly, on social security, and in poor health. He has a large yard that he was very meticulous about caring for before his health declined. It has been so difficult for him to not be able to care for it himself. Seeing it start to grow up because we can’t get it mowed was killing him. Unfortunately I was unable to mow it for him and it was awful to see how it was hurting him.

Shawn not only agreed to mow for Dad weekly at a rate he can afford, he was able to start within a week. Dad has a big pile of branches from dead trees that are piled in his yard. Shawn is cleaning that up for us and working with Dad so that he can pay him in payments. I can’t begin to tell you what a wonderful blessing he is for our family!

I would recommend them to anyone. Excellent company, great communication, very responsive to messages, excellent service.

I called this company to request an estimate for a bi-weekly lawn maintenance for our property in Wytheville. When I called him back to follow-up, he cursed me on the phone, calling me all sorts of nasty things, saying I was a scam, he doesn't even know me, he didn't even asked. Is this how you treat people? DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONALS! It was so shocking how he talked to me on the phone.

Highly recommend!! Very responsive and good at their job. Came out in the pouring rain to work on our property and everything looks amazing!

Shawn was very responsive from the start. He was quick and very reasonable to give an estimate and had his guys working on our project the next day. Danny and Eric were great, working all day and arrived on time. They even went as far as working as it got dark out to have it all finished within one day! Shawn and the rest of his crew-Michael, Dante, Tim, and Zach all came by as it got darker to help get the job finished. A great overall company, would recommend without a doubt.

When you buy a home out of state and have to rely on internet choices for services, it can be a bit tricky. Who do you call? Being over 3 hours away, I had to do just that.
I called everyone listed and only ONE answered. Green Acres Lawn! (and no one returned messages) He answered the phone after 5pm which also surprised me.
After speaking with Shawn and needing service right away, he scheduled me in within a few days to do an estimate.
Shawn did the estimate on the day he said he would.
Being professional and friendly all at the same time. Very personable and reassuring about how to pay, what to expect and the area in general.
I asked for before and after pictures. He did just that.
Very prompt in responding texts and -sounded straight forward.
The yard work was cut and weedeated as I had anticipated. No surprises.
I can only say that Shawn was a God send in that I have not been able to move yet. Very reasonable in price especially under these circumstances. Fair.

The landscaping work from this team is incredible!!! Very professional and my yard is kept to perfection.

The business owner really looks out for his clients. He tailors his services to the unique needs for each household. For example, he mentioned using organic grass fertilizer because of my pet dog without even having to be asked. Shawn and his team are also very knowledgeable of the landscaping industry. They are helping me plan future landscaping projects at a reasonable price.

Green Acres returned my call right away, came and gave me an estimate to remove a couple of trees and clean out several dead limbs on other trees. They know if the trees are healthy, or if they can be kept for a while longer or taken down asap. This company and the employees are all knowledgeable, and respectful of you and each other. They work quickly and safely. They clean up after themselves, put down new grass seed with a top cover to keep the seed/moisture in place. Would/will call back.

I called this lawn care to get a estimate on some work I needed done. He came out we talked and I though It was a little high but decided to use them anyways. There was a change in plans and I messaged to let them know and the man I talked to got a attitude laughed and said never to call him again. WOW I told him real professional. I also work for myself and I would never speak to a client in that manor. He don’t have to worry I’ll never call them again

Quick to respond. Job was completed within an hour. Quick and reasonable for what we had going on (comparison to a hay field). Very professional and didn't have a problem getting the job done unlike most numbers we have called. HIGHLY recommend this company to serve any lawn care needs.

I’ve yet to meet anyone in the new River valley with as much passion as Shawn has! If you want it done and done right this is your company! The knowledge and craftsmanship & integrity this company brings to the table is unreal!

My call was promptly answered, they came the same day to give us a quote, and returned the next day to do the work. They mowed thoroughly, cleaned up leaves, removed down tree limbs, removed a dead tree, cleared another tree damaged by an ice storm, and trimmed the yard. Just in the first visit, they demonstrated that they are willing to work hard and to invest time to make sure the job is well done.

I had Green Acres come out and give me an estimate of yard work. They beat other estimates I had gotten and Shawn to the time to explain everything that was needed. The company showed up and did the job better than my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.
