They cut down a huge Oak tree, over 60 feet, did it fast, safe, and cleaned up after themselves. Ground the stump, everything taken away, looks great! Friendly crew.

The crew was amazing. With little room to work they removed a very tall oak in poor condition dangerously close to my house and objects. I highly recommend them.

Met with Mr Ralph decided what had to be done. Work was started a couple of days later, completed the removal of several large trees in a day. Ralph Gordon responded to my phone call the same day I called, and came the next morning to give me an estimate, which was much more reasonable than the others I received. His team came on the day I requested with a 90 ft. bucket lift and a "climber," carefully removed the dead tree branches located over my house, and took away all the trimmings. His team members were courteous, very knowledgeable and worked well together. I have already recommended them to several of my neighbors, and will never hesitate to use them again in the future.

This team of men were like a well oiled machine! They were conscious of all ground septic lines and other important obstacles, and completed our tree removal and trimming in 3 hours! Ralph Gordon and his crew cut down several trees, removed a large stump of a fallen tree, filled in the resultant cavity, cleaned up the debris, removed brush on the property, and did so efficiently, with the necessary equipment, promptly, and in a manner that was friendly and engaging, even undertaking some additional work when the contracted work was completed. The crew was on time, considerate of my neighbors. The work was done in the Heathsville area after a windstorm altered the landscape. Good work. I will turn to them again.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I have called for their services 3 times and each time, they were great! This last time they cleared my lot for a house and it looks awesome! If I need more tree service or lot clearing, I will call them again! Many thanks to the whole crew, you guys did a fabulous job!

Mr. Gordon responded very quickly to my first call for a estimate. He showed up the next day and gave me a price. They started working 1 day later. They removed 5 large dead trees and 2 smaller trees, along with one downed tree. They ground the stumps. Picked up all branches. Graded the dirt flat and spread grass seed. Overall, highly satisfied. The 2 man crew worked as a finely tuned machine. They both were obviously highly skilled. They were always very respectful and polite. Would definitely call again for any tree related work.

They removed a huge tree in our yard. They did an excellent job. Removed the tree, cleaned up all of the debris, ground the stump and came back and removed the stump shavings. It was all done in a timely manner. If you need their services, would definitely recommend them.

WOW ! The Gordon Tree Team was AWESOME, courteous - on time and within budget and oh a beauty of a job with our very very large oaks! - They trimmed 2 very large Oak trees they were SO overgrown, completely took over the 2 story house from view. Cleaned all tree branches from ground removed, I would 100% recommend!

Mr. Gordon and his team did a fantastic job on repairing our rip rap and also clearing a large section of our yard to remove a 65 foot Gum tree that was taken down 2 years ago. The team started on a Monday and was completed before the next weekend. This was in December and just in time before a storm rolled in before Christmas with high winds and waves. The repaired rip rap held up perfectly.

Gordon tree did an excellent job removing our big tree in the front of our home. I would definitely
recommend them. They cleaned up all the left over branches, took the tree stump away and was able to remove the big roots we had attached to the tree. My yard looks incredible. Got our neighbors praising the work we got done.

We used Ralph Gordon's services once before to prune some tree branches. We were so pleased with his work and his professionalism that we didn't even get competing estimates to take down, remove and grind out the stump of a huge pine that was struck by lightening. Our faith was rewarded. His crew did an excellent job. Debris was thoroughly cleaned up. Ruts in the ground from the weight of the tree and equipment were filled and smoothed. They even spared an azalea bush that was about 15 feet away from the tree. We recommend him highly and will use his services for any future tree work. He deserves a five plus.

I'm very happy with the services provided by Gordon and his team! They came out and provided a fair quote for removing x3 trees from my property, including one that had a lot of dead branches and hanging vines. I approved the quote on a Friday and the team was able to come out earlier than scheduled the following Tuesday and finished the job within 2 days, including stump grinding. Everything was very quick and professional. I spoke to Heather in the office multiple times and she was so polite and responsive, even before/after regular business hours.

Ralph and his team exceeded my expectations. We needed trees trimmed that were overhanging our lengthy driveway as well as some trimming on trees that were rubbing against a roof and some general pruning work. We were so happy with the quality of the work. These guys know what they are doing! I would highly recommended them and we will be using them again soon to clear trees along our property line. Ralph is a great guy and always treated me well. Until!!! He brought someone with him ( new foreman I think) he was arrogant and somewhat rude. I don’t think very professional, nor experienced. He refused to do my work that I needed done on my house nor would he give me a quote. I believe it was more about the “Forman” than Ralph. They took my home inspection forms with them. They called 20
min. later and said the
job was either to large or to small. The Forman “you” introduced me to had shoulder length greasy looking hair and lost one of his teeth while standing in my front hallway!!!! You showed him pictures on your phone of “your house”? while standing on my front sidewalk!! I did not dream all this up!

In my opinion, 5 star reviews should be reserved for the very best services and this exemplifies what we received from Gordon’s Tree and Contracting Services, twice now! We received fantastic service in 2020 which led to me calling Ralph Gordon again as a result of losing 4 very large trees to bug infestation. Ralph came out with some of his experts, assessed the job and even had his crew here earlier than expected. The team of 4 made short order of cutting down 3 large oaks and a large gum tree and even took care of 3 more trees that turned out to be dead when we looked at them. Each tree was felled exactly as planned, avoiding my well and avoiding dropping one precariously leaning tree in the river! I recognize this is a lot of detail, but the reader needs to understand that this was a very large job. Ralph had the stumps removed the same day and the crew returned the next morning to remove the ground up stump mulch and even rolled the tractor over the ruts to smooth out the grass as much as possible. Count on Gordon’s!

Mr. Gordan came out and gave me an estimate and the next morning his men were on the job. The crew did an excellent job removing the large tree close to my house. They were friendly and efficient and cleaned up nicely. Two neighbors contracted him the very same day after seeing the great job he did for me. I would highly recommend his services.

Mr. Ralph Gordon and his team did a super job for us. They removed nine damaged trees, ground twelve stumps to the ground, and back filled with top soil over the holes. The whole job took less than a single day (about 9am to 3pm). When they were done, save for the extra dirt, I never would have known there had been trees there. Ralph’s team was well-trained and efficient, and he is a professional and knows how to conduct business. He even picked up some old stumps from my neighbor’s yard - at no charge - just because he’s a good man. Best of all, Mr. Gordon’s prices are exceptionally reasonable and competitive. His service is a great value, and we most highly recommend him.

Gordens tree Service was incredibly they removed about 30 trees that was encroaching on my house and septic area. These were not small trees the price was very fair and the workmanship was top notch along with the stump grinding.
