Truly glad I found Nate! Such a kind nature and extremely helpful, trustworthy and knowledgeable. If I need it done I'll call Nate 1st before anyone else. He's the best I've found in Charlottesville. He really wants to make his customer's happy. I recommend! He is helping us hang a Barn door for our podcast room this week. A few weeks ago he help us set up a conference room, hang a TV, and move a stage. We couldn't be happier.

Recently had two ceiling fans installed. The work went smoothly and Nate did a first class job. Highly recommended for your home improvement.

Long story Short, Nate is a very personable guy with a strong work ethics, timely service and great communications with us throughout the projects at our home. He was very respectful of the property and was great with our dogs. 10/10 recommend Gold Standard Maintenance. We will be using him again for future projects.

Long story long, Nate came out to our house and did repairs to our tub that was sagging due to improper support under the house. His next task was to caulk the tub to reseal the gaps caused by the sagging tub. Next he tackled the drywall damage caused by a small leak around the tub caused by cracks in the caulking. The drywall repair required some creative engineering and frame work to make the drywall fit properly.

We could not be more satisfied with Nate and his work. He stayed late and worked hard on the project until it was done. He refused to leave until he was convinced we were 100% happy.

If you need a handyman he is definitely your man.

I got 5 sets of curtain rods hung, two TVs mounted with wires hidden behind the wall, mounted a grab bar for my shower, and some smaller stuff. Nate from Gold Standard Maintenance came out and they did a great job and even borrowed my vacuum cleaner to clean up the drywall dust from the holes they cut to pass the cables through. Nate did a great job and I would definitely recommend him!

Nate is wonderful! We hired him based on reviews to put up a grab bar in the bathroom for our mother-in-law. He offered to purchase the bar and procured one that was sturdy and rated for handicap accessibility. He made sure the grab bar was securely attached to studs. Although we hadn't informed him of another service required, he graciously accepted the second request and had our retractable shower head installed in record time. The speed with which he works and the quality of the work are quite remarkable. In addition, he is friendly and quite reasonably priced. We will definitely be going to Nate for future jobs and recommending him to others.

But then I contacted Nate at Gold Standard Maintenance. First, he was flexible to make a few things happen that needed to be done before I moved in. He talks you through the process from A-Z in complete detail before he starts so just knew this was the right choice since I am a self-described picky person with high expectations. I am glad I did since they did not disappoint. Nate and team show the utmost professionalism and are very neat and tidy, taking personal pride throughout their work. After repeated efforts to get help from various other "handymen" with no luck, I came across Nate Gold and was hopeful that he would return calls, show up for the appointment and actually do the work for me. He showed up on time as scheduled; performed all work to my extreme contentment! His work was professional, reasonably priced and expertly executed! Cleaned up afterwards and was delightful to have in my home with his assistant. I highly recommend his services and will keep his number for future reference!
