Had to take my zero turn to the hut for service and a leaking hydraulic. Man was I impressed with the service and turn around time. The price was very fair as well. They have earned my business from now on. Much appreciated guys.

I needed a drive belt for my old lawnmower. They had it in stock. And cost was comparable to purchasing it online.

They almost always have the parts that I need for my Toro mower, and many other makes..Service shop is usually backed up, but well trained mechanics can usually fix most issues .

I have brought two pieces of equipment here that needed mechanical attention for both a tune up to run better and some mechanical failures in the operational features outside of the engine. Their turn around time is great and both pieces of equipment came back to me running like NEW although my snowblower (1986 model) and my brush mower (used hard) have both lived a tough life and used hard. This is the only place in Grand Forks area to go for small engine work. They are the best. I even bought a new push mower from them this spring and their price was better than anyone in town on that Toro.

When in told them what I needed they had it right there in stock and Dad pretty reasonable price. If I ever need parts again and I didn't order them online from somewhere cheaper this would be the brick-and-mortar store I would go to.

They did a great job repairing the Lawnmower! I even called back and gave them a little concern and they were really great and didnt take it harsh. I will definately use them again!

These guys dig a great job with the snow removal at our house all winter. They even came and cleared us out today (April 3) after a big snow storm, even though our contract technically only covered us through March 31. Great company, I highly recommend!

I was going to refrain from a review of this place, but after reading others, I feel I need to do my part in warning people about this place too.

As others have said, the employees and management are very condescending, rude, and treat customers like they are doing THEM a favor, when in fact it's the other way around.

My husband and I were treated terribly and when you're spending thousands of dollars at a place that offers products that other businesses do as well, you'd think they would treat you with respect....not this place. They act like you should feel lucky that they sell mowers...as if they are the only ones.....lol.

Lowes, Menards, Power Equipment Shop, etc......ALL better than this outfit and they treat their customers like all good businesses do.....with RESPECT and THANKFULNESS for spending their hard earned money with them.

We've worked with The Garden Hut for many years. Their Sales, Parts, and Service departments are literally 2nd to none! Customer service is obviously a top priority, and their longevity in the industry is a testament to that fact.

The best! They do what they say they will and will come back if the snow removal job was not complete. Well worth the money and piece of mind. That know what they are doing and they do it well . Pleasant staff no hostility here if you you say something. Thanks garden hut you ROCK.

Just needed a lawnmower blade sharpened. They helped get the mower out of my van and back in again. Had it done while we waited. Very friendly. Thank you.

Here's the deal with these guys. Their mechanics do excellent work, they sell top quality equipment for a fair price. The downside? Their customer service is the worst I've ever seen. These guys could be as big as Walmart with customers lining up outside their door - as I said, they do excellent work. But, they are offensive to talk to on the phone and in person. There is one guy - who should be the only guy who talks to anyone here - who is great and friendly. Everyone else, not so much.
So why do I put up with their crap and keep going back? As I said, they do excellent work and they sell things for a fair price. So I go back.
All they have to do is realize people are coming to their shop for help, so smile and help people. They'll be pricing out a new bigger building in no time if they just stopped driving the customers away.
If you want good equipment and good work done on your stuff? Go here. You want to be treated friendly? Either go somewhere else or hope you get the one nice guy who works the counter.

I bought a 30 inch toro mower from there the main idler bearings for the blade drive went out, 1 day later it was ready to go!

Bent the crank shaft on my mower. Dropped it off. I got a call the next day telling me it would be $170. Even got the quote on a voicemail. Went in to give the go ahead and another guy tells me it would cost more to repair than its worth.. and you are looking at $250+. When I told the gentleman about the voicemail I got, the guy I was talking to said... "Well that would be just to bend it back straight, not actually fix it." So despite the fact they quoted me $170 on the voicemail they wouldnt honor the price.

Then the next mower I buy to replace that one.. one of the cables break.. we drop it off on a Wednesday. A full week and a half passes with no word. We call and ask if its done, and the guy promptly responds with, "Well did you get a call its done?" We say, "'No." Then he says, "Well then its not done yet." So we ask for a general update because our long is getting crazy long... and he just says they are waiting on part, could be a few more days. Not sure when it will get here. So its now been 2 weeks. No word. Still waiting.

Not bringing my mower... or any of my companies mowers here ever again. After 15 years working in retail I cant say how disappointed I am to receive this kind of service. It seems that they really dont care.

I've always gotten good service and the right parts at a fair price. Knowledgeable and competent counter help. I do my own work so I don't have much contact with the service side of the house.
