Shon got back to me with a good quote for our small insulation job quickly.
Jaime and Roberto arrived early to our off-grid home and handled the job quickly and professionally.

I would give 5 stars, but it took over a week after accepting the quote to be contacted to schedule the job. Being a squeaky wheel is recommended, by phone and email.
It also appears that the Truteam website doesn't communicate the info provided to their "Request a quote" page to the contractor companies they work with, providing little benefit to the customer or the contractors Truteam works with.

I added a couple bedrooms onto the house and had the insulation done... it was cheaper than I could buy the materials myself! There was a mistake on the floor area and the crew came back out and fixed it with no issues. I will definitely use them again in the future.

2/13/23- don't bother with this company. I should've listened to the other 1 star reviews that were given recently. I have a 2-story home, and wanted the downstairs to be more soundproof to avoid hearing the footsteps from upstairs. Roddy Jellison told me they could do it and it would eliminate footsteps and music played in the house. I asked at least 5 times before agreeing to let them do the project "are you sure it will elimate the noise" and he said yes. They came for 2 hours and installed fiber glass. I tested it out and there is absolutely no difference. Now he says it won't eliminate the noise, but will drown out the sound. When I explained what i wanted (for the 6th time) he then told me he doesn't specialize in soundproofing. Then he wanted to suggest another company. I told him I wasn't happy and he wouldn't decrease the price. I wasted $2900. I only went with this company because a friend knows one of the employees, but admitted to me he wasn't familiar with their quality of work. Save yourself the trouble, read the other reviews, and go with another company

5/1/23-- here's an update as to why you should not waste your time with Gale. My AC is set at 70°. My home is reading 87°. I called a company to check the AC, come to find out, it's clogged with the fiberglass that Gale installed. Don't waste your time with this company

I have used Gale contractors since 2007. I recently contacted Gale about a reinsulation project, I spoke with I believe his name is Shaun (the representative in charge of giving quotes) and he let me know that he would have another person from Gale contact me the following week to let me know about coming to look at my property (it's been over a month and still no call). I also tried contacting them via phone, left messages and no call back.
I went to the Wenatchee location trying to purchase plastic baffles as the ones that were previously installed were cardboard and they seem to fail as far I have experienced with other properties. When I entered the office, one of the workers there almost ran into me even though I held the door open for him. The front office person didn't even look up from her computer to acknowledge me until I asked for help, which she started talking to a gentleman in an office next to her desk. He seemed not to know about baffles in general and when I started talking to him, his phone rang and he just cut me off as I was not there. Gale originally insulated this home and after I had the insulation extracted, I found over 30 penetrations that hadn't been sealed, knee walls that weren't insulated properly, a skylight that didn't have the northern facing side insulated (I was having the skylight removed as it was causing ice dams) which was exacerbating ice damming on the roof, and Insulation was not properly installed over can lights. I remember talking with the representative from Gale when I built the house and my original bid for the insulation was almost double of what I was originally quoted which I was okay with because I though the quality would be there.

I am writing this in wondering if the owners of this company know what is going on......

We have been working with Gale Contracting Services for over a year on installing a garage door in our new construction home. After months of delays to receive the door, it came with a damaged panel and broken window. Again, after months and many emails and phone calls (all initiated by us), the panel has been replaced, but we are still waiting on a new window. This has been going on for a year now. We cannot paint the door until everything is fixed. My last email sent on June 9th was never responded to. I DO NOT recommend this company due to their poor customer service and lack of communication.

Their manager (a young man named Robby Harmon) advised us of our garage needs (insulation & garage door) and followed up by overseeing an excellent job provided by his crew! We highly recommend Gale Construction!

Gale Contracting Services were a great help when it came time to spray foam my new home. They were fast to come out and bid the job, gave me a competitive quote, and scheduled me within a day!

Val and Buddy came out morning of the job to do a walk through and give me a clear picture of what the process will look like. They explained what they were doing and how it all works, while meeting all code requirements. These guys blew my expectations away! They were one of the more easy and honest sub contractors I worked with during my home build.

I would recommend Gale to any of my friends and family.

Cheers,
Matt Sullivan

ale is top notch all the way around! This is my second time having them do insulation for us. They called me back every time, gave us an accurate estimate, were professional, workers were friendly and they showed up when we expected them too and finished ahead of schedule. I would recommend them to anyone in the valley. Ask for Roddy, he’s great!

Worst customer service ever, dealing with this company was a huge waste of my time and energy. it took two weeks... middle of June for a call back to order 2 full glass garage door panels for my shop door.
I excepted the first estimate 1125.00 for the panels and installation. I asked for full view double pane glass, they said they could only get single pane glass that was 1/8" thick. Then I get a text back a few days later saying for 1600.00 they can get 1/4 inch thick single pane glass, so I agreed to that and sent the 845.00 they wanted as a down payment. I get another call back in the middle of July saying they haven't started manufacturing the panels yet and we can get double pane glass at no extra charge, we can change your order to full panel double pane glass now but you will have to wait up to six weeks for windows to be manufactured. i'm like OK great, lets get these things.
finally around September 1st I get a call from the sales rep saying panels are here and lets scheduled the work. we set up a time for a few days later, I called him the day before installation to double check that they were actually the full view glass, he assured me that yes they were. Next day the installer shows up with the panels and they are not full view glass, in fact the windows were 4"x16" 3 tiny widows on each panel. I called immediately and left a voice mail to inform him that these were the wrong panels, I did not accept them and to please take them back. He calls me back and says we take full responsibility for the mistake and can get you the correct full view panels in aluminium for 400 more, a total of 2000.00 but you have to wait for up to six more weeks. If your not happy with the changes we can offer you a full refund.. I said no and to please send my refund, it took until the end of September to finally get a refund back. I was relieved to get my money back and seriously thought I would never see it again. do your self a favor and use another garage door contractor.
The new company I went through was at my house the day after I called, ordered the correct panels immediately with no down payment and was at my house five weeks later with the panels I wanted and did a beautiful installation job. If Gail had done their job correctly I would of had the work done by the 3rd week in July, not the 3rd week of October.

Chipped out part of foundation unnecessarily to install garage door, then installed parts of 2 different colored garage doors, one part was clearly used. Wrong motor in wrong track. No credit given on bill, no follow through from Wenatchee manager on any financial compensation. Have been in contact with different managers for 2 years. Save the frustration and go with a different company.

Gale Insulation was contracted as part of a mold remediation in 2016 to fix a faulty insulation install that was at the source of mold intrusion in our home. Fast forward to April 2019. Discovered that mold was back. Discovered that this was the case because Gale Insulation not only botched the insulation job and crushed the baffles that allow air flow, they also apparently damaged a venting fan during that insulation job. The combination of moist air entering the attic cavity with the blocked air flow from the crushed baffles contributed to ideal conditions for mold growth.

A mold remediation process costs thousands of dollars just for addressing the initial mold removal. Best practices are then to get rid of your books, your clothes, your furniture, your carpeting, your plants, etc. Whole house cleaning is upward of $2K. Ripping out your carpeting and replacing is upwards of $5K per floor. Then there is the HVAC decontamination, and mold testing that costs several hundred dollars. Finally, there is the massive medical bills for mold testing and treating CIRS (mycotoxin induced illness), which is highly specialized care, for each member of the family.

When a neighbor, who worked for the PUD, saw the unfolding of the remediation effort at our house, he reached out to us. When I told him about Gale Insulation, he commented, "No surprise there. Gale Insulation is incompetent and has been for years."

Do NOT let these people in your home.

Please do not use Gale contractor services. They provided insulation for my new home in the Roslyn area. The first sales person provided me a quote that was not done in the regular sales system and that freaked out the second salesperson.

Second sales guy was fine....then the install.

What a mess, spray foam everywhere. The put plastic over the windows, but not on anything else. The toilet, pipes, floor and studs were full of overspray.

They had a hose leak from one of the spray foam guns that leaked oil of some sort all over the plywood floor. They left the oil for me to clean up.

I spent over 6 hours cleaning up the mess. The drywall contractor spent the better part of the morning cleaning the foam off the studs the foam crew missed.

I complained to the coordinator and was given a $300.00 discount. my total bill was about $14,000.

I had the pleasure of having Gale Contractor service insulate my home last spring, they showed up when they said they would & did a fantastic job.I also had them install 4 new Garage doors w/ side mount jack shaft motors, my motors were installed & adjustments were made a couple time make operate correctly which I was told would happen. When I went to operate them wirelessly I noticed they had not installed the myq motors as promised by my rep I called & spoke w/ Val he’s was very understanding & told me they would change them out no questions asked even know they were taking back motors that were now used.
I also had them install gutters on my new custom home, there 6 to 8 spots were gutter chains were required & it took a little extra time to get the chains but When I spoke w/ Val he said to give him One more week & he would get it handled..He delivered as promised. I latter found out they had to use a different vendor for what ever reason that cost them more money l. With all three jobs they did for me over the last 24months .. They stuck to all bids never ounce did they try to bump the price on me to take advantage of a booming economy.
I would happily refer you guys to family & friends..
Thank you Gale contractor services
& thank you Val

ZERO stars is the only rating this company deserves. They asked for a 50% deposited, which has happily made to have gutters installed. Three days taken off of work, to have them never show up with as little as a phone call or apology given. Poor Customer service to say the least. DO NOT USE Gale Contractor Services! A month later, no one has returned my 20 phone calls to reschedule. A month later, no offer to come out right away and install the gutters. A month later, they still have a 50% deposit for a job that was NEVER DONE.

No show for our first estimate meeting. Gave him the benefit of the doubt and scheduled a second appointment, and he no-showed on that one too. Gave him a call after waiting for an hour past our scheduled meeting time and he told me he would be there in 40 minutes. Ok, well I'm going to be at the house anyways. Shows up and takes some measurements for some gutters, then I had to email him 4 days later just to get my estimate sent to me.

Went to a different gutter company who actually showed up on time and gave me an estimate then and there. Which was HALF of the amount I was quoted before for the exact same work.

Do yourself a favor and find someone else to do any home improvements, as this guy is not only unprofessional but apparently also overcharges.

Great job insulating a large new upper end home in Cle Elum. Ran into a scheduling snafu, but Val rectified the situation quickly and kept us on our tight schedule. Jesus and Ramiro were the lead installers, so a big shout-out to them for running an amazing crew and getting the job completed in record time! Val was great at communicating with me throughout the job and never made me feel like I was bothering him.

You know, I should have paid attention to the poor reviews. Same thing happened here. Called and was transferred to the salesman who said he'd be out around 2pm. That was 2 days ago. This is most likely going to be a pretty big job at my company, but they just lost their chance. How can one can stay in business with such horrible service is beyond me!

The guys that do the jobs are great, knowledgeable and very courteous but the salesman need to listen to the voice of the customer better and deliver a follow up like promised.I wanted to contract them for a few other spring projects I have but I'd assume they forgot or do not need/want a future customer.I reminded them after paying for services they preformed, but still haven't heard back so I guess on to the next. The 2 stars is for the excellent work and advice from the workers, the salesman fail!!

Contacted them for a roll-up door opener and was given the name and cell number for the salesman that handled that particular product. I called him and told him what I needed and arranged for a meet and estimate the next day. He was a no-show. Called a week later and asked him about it and he told me that he had forgotten. OK. Arranged for another estimate and gave him all my information again (name, cell, email, address, etc.) and was assured that he would contact me the next day. No-show again. Waited a week and no response. Sent an email to him (we're three weeks out now) asking him if he was interested in doing business with me as I like to patronize local businesses. No response. I'll be ordering my opener from Amazon and installing it myself - at least they have great customer service.

Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.

The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.

3. What factors affect the overall roof repair cost?
+-

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
