I cannot say enough about the customer service we received. Kyle and Darrick went above and beyond getting electric to our hot tub. They were personable and answered any questions we had. The work they did was exemplary and astecic. I will only use Fix Matic for all my electrical needs.

I have had work done from them before, and never had anything to really complain about until now. I wasn't having any problems with our home when I got a call from them asking if they could come and check the work they have previously done a year and half ago as part of the warranty. When they came in, they immediately found an issue with the electrical work in my house. They told me that my house could potentially burn down and told me they needed to check all of the outlets and breaker to see what was causing the problem. Of course I had to pay for this service upfront instead of paying a hourly rate. I was scared that something was wrong so I went ahead and paid to have them check.

After they checked my outlets by plugging in their device to the outlets, I was once again told that something is wrong with my house's electrical work and I needed to pay for them to fix it. However, they couldn't tell me what was was causing the issue. I needed to pay $10K for them to hopefully fix the issue. However, they couldn't tell me if that would actually fix it. They were very vague with their answers. They then used my fear of my house burning down to try and get me to pay the $10k to "fix" the issue that they couldn't even give the reason as to why it was happening, even after paying for them the find said issue.

I called another electrician to get a second opinion. When I explained to the electrician what was going on, he went to check on my breaker and outlets in the house. He did not find the same issue. I did not need the $10k worth of repairs that fixmatic tried to sell me on, in fact I didn't need to pay them to check my outlets and breaker to begin with. Nothing is wrong with my houses electrical work.

This whole experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I feel like fixmatic tried to use fear as a tactic to get me to spend $10k worth of unnecessary upgrades. I can't help but feel like they used the "warranty" as an excuse to try and get me to spend more money, and unfortunately I did. I ended up spending money on an issue that didn't even exist, right around the holiday season. The only reason why I have given them 2 stars instead of 1 is because the work they have done for me in the past was good. They do good electrical work, but their business practices rubbed me the wrong way this time.

Edit: Your reply shows that you missed the part where I said I had another electrician come to my house and they did not find the same issue. In fact, the electrical work in my house is perfectly fine and there is no voltage drop in my house. They also put in a whole home surge protector in my house for a fraction of what this company quoted me. I think it should also be noted that this company wanted to re-do work that they already did for me years ago. And let's not forget that they tried telling me that there were other people in my neighborhood who had a fire in their house due to an outlet. They will use fear to try and get you to spend more money. Do yourself a favor and get a second opinion if they are trying to scare you into doing electrical work for your house. Changed my review to one star.

We’ve had great experiences with Fixmatic. Abner has been so helpful and easy to work with. We’ve had experiences with not so forthcoming contractors in the past and fixmatic has restored our faith. Very up front and honest. Very accommodating and always polite. They even let us ask tons of questions and they’re happy to break down every answer for us.

Abner with Fixamatic electric came out today to assist with an electrical issue we were having. He was super knowledgeable, easy going, very informative and helpful.

Jovan did a great job explaining everything he did. He was very thorough, careful, neat & tidy. Abner explained the job plan well & followed up with a review of what was done. He also explained the recommendations for what might be beneficial in future. Both were very pleasant & respectful. I was pleased with the service they provided.

Not a good experience. Needed 2 new circuits wired and was talked up to also install new electric panel and all new electric. Was quoted $24k all work to be done. Told me it was needed to safe. Never recieved and itemized quote or a receipt for work done. Still never recieved anything.

Now the constant problems. Communication was sub-par, I constantly had to call the main office to see when someone was coming out. The technician that was assigned to me did sloppy work. Left wires every where, installed outlets/switches crooked and cracked, still have cut up drywall. On top of that, the technician got drywall debris all over my wifes makeup, and broke a few household items. Constantly asked to use my vacuum and drill because he didnt have his. My 16 mo old child ended up getting one the wires in his mouth.... And the technician left my freezer unplugged and all my food ruined. Thankfully, Abner did buy us new food to replace was lost, and hd also fixed some of the bad installation. But for what I went into debt for, the high cost, it was not worth it.

I was talked up on the price to get sloppy service and still never had one piece of work done that I requested, a new circuit. Ended asking for a refund because I was sick of the bad service. Was refunded only $1100 of the $24k that I was charged.

Now my family and I struggling with this debt that I was overcharged for. Do yourself a favor and find someone cheaper. I am sure they will do a better job than what I received. Only reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 1, is they tried to make some things right, but they are more concerned with money than customer service.

EDIT: We reached out to a different reputable electric company and they quoted us $12k to $16k for same work we had done with fixmatic electric. Fixmatic charged us $16k alone for just a new electric panel installation. Learn from my ripoff and go to someone else.

Many many thanks to Amber and Seth for their assistance and work on our homes electrical systems. Both were friendly and professional with great communication and explanation. Ours was a difficult and complicated job and was completed successfully and accurately .

Needed to have a complete upgrade done on my home fuse box/distribution panel. Also needed a new hot tub hard wired. Met with Abner from Fixmatic. He was very professional and went over all the options/cost to proceed with the work. Work was completed in a timely manner and done to the highest standards. I was very pleased with the results. Awesome work by Abner and his crew.

Overall they completed our 2 jobs very satisfactorily and ensured we were happy with both. Communication from the initial assessment of the jobs wasn’t as seamless as I’d like and required a separate trip for each job. The electricians were professional, on time, competent, and kept us informed of progress/any issues. I’d likely use the company again.

Fixmatic bent over backwards to schedule the work for me; in fact, they actually came the same day I called. The technician arrived promptly, was super courteous, very efficient, and cleaned up…as if he was never here. No doubt, would choose Fixmatic again.

Aaron and his apprentice were fantastic! They installed a new electrical circuit for an EV charger and did an amazing job. Completely professional, clean and clearly explained what they were going to do and then a complete walk- through of everything when completed. They even swept out the garage before they left! Highly recommend them.

Fixmatic pros did a good job of tracing & repairing problems I was having with multiple circuit breakers in my service panel. They also added a surge protector to my electrical system. Things are working much better now!

The quality of their work was excellent! They had a few unexpected bumps with the way our house was wired, and they were able to work around all that. We got what we needed to fixed, and we are happy with the results.

I do wish their voicemail wasn't full when I originally called because I feel like they could get more business if people could have a way to get a call back when they need work done. I did find that their texting option online was a better route to getting a hold of someone.

We had some normal human mistakes with writing down a wrong number for my call back which delayed some things and needing a replacement check. But they were very responsible and fixed the mistakes as soon as they realized.

I would definitely use them again.

I was out of state when the window unit blew a Circuit. Fixmatic return my call within a couple of hours. Service tech explained the problem and gave me a few options to fix it. The tech called when an unforeseen issue came up and discussed the additional work that needed to be preformed. Once the job once done i received pictures of the work and they took payment over the phone. Overall the whole experience was smooth and stressfree!

Amazing service- I was having issues with a breaker in the kitchen affecting multiple appliances, technician Audie was able to pinpoint the problem, recommend multiple options to get it fixed depending on my budget and provide personal advice based on his own experiences with similar issues. Abner from Fixmatic arrived to proceed with our semi-annual review of our electrical systems. He informed us that he be checking some indoor outlets, after which both of our service panels were done. No issues were found. Before leaving he asked if we had anything else to discuss. I did ask about replacing a light switch that indicated when it was on, or off. He said there are switches like that and he would order one and have it installed.
As mentioned previously by us we highly recommend Fixmatic for all your electrical needs. Their personnel are very polite, knowledgeable and professional in all they do. Also we are kept informed of what they are doing, which is helpful.

Audie and Isaac were awesome, as always. They are so nice, very accommodating and professional. Audie even touched-up the paint on the ceiling for me after he installed the light (the old fixture he replaced left a black ring). Fixmatic Electric is the only ones we call, because they are so reliable and we feel safe that they did a quality job.

You need electric work done right?? Call Fixamatic they are professional n very knowledgeable!! Audie showed up on time and gave me various options to deal with my electrical issues. I will be using them for future electrical jobs.

We have used Fixmatic twice so far, once for wiring for a whole-house A/C unit and once for installation of fluorescent lights plus a wireless light switch. Both times we have been very pleased with Audie's abilities as an electrician and his willingness to take the time to explain the alternatives we had regarding the work we requested. As others have said, the house was left clean after the work was done. Fixmatic kept us informed about arrival times, too, so we were able to plan our day with confidence. I needed an electrician Christmas Eve and they responded immediately. The electrician was extremely helpful and did what he could that day. He returned the day after Christmas and worked on my electrical issues that day & the day after. I could not have picked a better company than them. Very professional and courteous, from the person who answered my call to the electrician who came to my house, I will definitely use them again if I have anymore problems, and will not hesitate to recommend to someone else. Just had some exterior lights installed. Audie gave us several options and helped us make an informed decision about what we needed. The work was performed in a timely manner and he left the area cleaner than it was when he got here. If you haven’t used Fixmatic, definitely give them a call!
