From our first phone contact with Abigail to the end of our dryer vent cleaning from Ben we had a five star experience! Excellent customer service. Ben was so thought and kind and very knowledgable about every part of cleaning our vent. Reasonable rates. Very effecient and thorough with the cleaning. Very respectful of our home. Ben worn slippers on his shoes and made sure everything was working and put back in place. We can highly recommmend Ben and Five Valleys services. We were so pleased with the quaility of Ben's service that we are also having them clean our carpets. I had a tough stain and Ben took the time to explain to me about the stain and why I couldn't get it out. Looking forward to having Ben clean our carpet as I'm confident we will receive the same high quaility service. Thank You to Ben and Abigail for such incredible service!!!!

Five Valley was great! All of their crews were very good at communicating when they would be stopping by and what they would be doing. A wonderful locally owned business. Matt even checked in on the process when he was out on vacation. Thanks again for cleaning up our awful water leak.

Be very careful with this company. They came to our house for a small leak caused by some faulty caulk on a roof penetration from another contractor. Initially they came off as very professional. They tore out our dry wall on our ceiling to address the leak, removed the bat and spray foam insulation down to the sheathing (even cut a wire for our exterior lighting that they needed to hire an electrician to fix.) They found a small amount of moisture but 0 mold. They removed the joist blocking that separates the outside from the inside of the house above the wall and loosely filled it in with a piece of bat insulation. Then they got busy and left it like that for a few weeks. Mind you, this was in the middle of winter. When they returned, they realized they created mold in that spot in our brand new home but did not seem at all perturbed about it. They did remove the mold, and then they made a crude attempt of using canned great stuff spray foam insulation as a replacement for the correct foam insulation that is supposed to be, and was originally, there to eliminate our dew point. We noticed the poorly done job of insulation and they were instructed to chip it all out by their manager. After that, they found out the mold spread further up the bay. This resulted in them needing to tear out more dry wall etc (but did eliminate the mold they caused and dried out the area) and eventually they admitted they were losing money on our job and canceled our contract and left it as is. This was all drawn out for months, during which time they would try pointing the finger elsewhere. Something that should have been a quick fix turned into a total nightmare for us to get figured out. Now we are left with finding new contractors to finish this job.

Highly recommend! They did such amazing carpet cleaning for our move out! Ben was so helpful and diligent about getting back to us. Great experience. 10/10

I recently hired Five Valleys to clean my HVAC ducts and the experience exceeded all expectations. Our tech was Ben and I can't say enough nice things about him. Efficient, friendly, detail-oriented, good communicator, and trustworthy! I left him alone so that he could do his thing and when I came home, the house was spotless, nothing to clean up, everything was where it was supposed to be, and he even brought a package inside that was delivered. I was prepared to have to clean floors, put furniture back, dust every surface...I didn't have to do a thing except enjoy my improved air quality. Above and beyond service, highly recommend!

Be very carful with this company, as far as I am concerned, we were scammed. It’s a legal scam that have going, if you are self pay AVOID at all costs. Literally 20X the cost of what the work they do should be billed at.

My wife called FVRC when we had a water heater fail and leak water in the unfinished portion of our basement and spread a bit to the finished portion, just a bit of water. Unfortunately I was not home and out of cell service at the time. Had I been home, FVRC would have never been called. Everything they came to the house and did was beyond overkill, unnecessary and they created more damage and a bigger problem than the small amount of water that was spilled in the basement.

We have a major floor drain right next to our water heater that failed so the vast majority of water that leaked was mitigated immediately down the drain. Not to mention, this is the unfinished portion of the basement with concrete floors. My wife is not well versed in our home, home owners insurance, disaster mitigation, etc.. and called upon FVRC as I was unreachable at the time. This was not a disaster, this was a bit of water on the basement floor. We have been through a previous home owners insurance debacle with another property so I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on how it all works.

The FVRC team did damage, and created more of a problem than the what the small amount water on the floor that needed to be dried. They cut up the carpet, removed padding, ripped off base boards…all of which was not necessary. My wife, bless her heart, verbally told the workers before they did these things not to. She specifically verbalized not to cut the carpet, she explicitly verbalized not to remove baseboards. The team insisted, and given the situation with our children present, and the chaos of all the new people in the house, and her lack of understanding of the situation, she did not fight them about it after they disregarded her instructions they proceeded against her request. That was wrong, and FVRC will not admit to it. She did not further action to stop them after they ignored her.

When I arrived home shortly after their 45 min at the house the amount of “over kill” blew my mind. The mitigation was far more damage and has cost more to make the necessary repairs than what simply drying out the small amount of water would have been.

I stopped their service as fast as I could, (all they fans, etc.. left at the house being billed by the min at crazy amounts) but still was on the hook for about $1,500 for the FVRC team coming to our house and causing more damage than what they were called to help with. They were at our home for less than an hour. I brought all this to the attention of Austin the GM. Hats off to their very diplomatic way of replying and basically saying everything is what it is, and they stand behind their work. They claim everything was necessary, but no it was not. It’s a scam and of course they say this because they can. Even with my pointing out their schematic of our basement was drawn up incorrectly by their team, literally just wrong showing absolutely no need for the cutting of carpet, and ripping off baseboard…they did not do anything to make this right. We paid our bill the same was as any other “Self Pay” customer.

So if you have been warned, I hope no other unsuspecting homeowner will be take advantage of it the way we were. After consulting with our lawyer, with my wife’s signature on their all encompassing work authorization, this was just was not worth fighting in small claims.

These folks, especially Ben Harmer, are amazing and so easy to work with!

Booked an appointment for a carpet cleaning in my apartment for only the high traffic areas in the living room and bedrooms. This means that no heavy furniture needed to be moved.

Am so glad I did this. The carpet looks brand new thanks to Ben who did a wonderful job! Both Ben and the woman I scheduled the appointment were friendly and helpful, and the cost for the service was very reasonable. I would definitely use Ben and Five Valleys again, and highly recommend them both if you need any type of carpet cleaning. Thanks again Ben for the great job!

Five Valleys was awesome. Abigail was super professional and communicative during the planning stages and Ben was incredibly friendly and did an amazing job restoring the carpet in my apartment. Last September my upstairs neighbor flooded her apt and 5 valleys were called. I came home from work and they trashed my apartment, I was in shock when I walked in. Food from my pantry were mixed with cleaning supplies. My daughters cloths were all mixed in different black trash bags and it was so hard to go though their clothes for school the next day and to packed for our stay in the hotel while our apartment was worked on, I had to stay in a heat and very loud noise to look for personal items because I didn’t know where things were… I personally think they didn’t have any respect for my belongings, they should have at least put my things in a organized way to make things easier for me to go through since it was already hard enough to stay with for 4 kids in one room hotel. It took me 4 days to clean up my apartment after they were done drying the walls.

We had a major pipe burst in our walkout basement that completely flooded the whole basement. Five Valleys was very quick to respond and assisted in all of the water mitigation and mold remediation work. Austin brought over all of the necessary equipment and had a crew begin work the same day. They were very supportive throughout the process. I knew I was in good hands from the beginning, with how detail-oriented, thorough, and helpful Austin and the crew were. They did an excellent job! We had a refrigerator line leak that flooded a finished room in our basement and soaked our kitchen floor. Five Valleys did a great job of remediating the water damage and restoring our home to its pre-water damage state. The Five Valleys staff were friendly, professional, responsive to all of our questions, and held high standards when completing repairs. Their contractors (drywall professionals, carpet cleaners, etc.) were also friendly and professional. I recommend Five Valleys to anyone who finds themselves in need of restoration services.

We had a water issue at a rental and Five Valley responded quickly with necessary equipment. Able was outstanding, investigated where the water was coming from, and made a game plan. Outstanding service and we appreciated all of their work.

Would highly recommend using Five Valley’s! We had a leak in our basement behind the shower wall and they came promptly. Matt immediately assessed our problem and found the area of concern. He had all the necessary equipment needed to detect, remove waterlogged material professionally, mitigate all water and possible mold and had dehumidifiers set up within an hour. We are fortunate Matt had availability or else our problem would have been much worse. He ensured our basement was completely dry before packing everything up the following day. Recently, we had water/mold issues in the sheetrock of one of our basement walls. Five Valley’s damage appraiser was quick to examine the damage and with his estimate, our insurance company approved the estimate in two days. The tare down, rebuild, painting and carpet cleaning were all done timely and expertly. We received telephone calls before any Five Valley employees worked on our project. If the need for restoration or cleaning occurs in the future, I will definitely call Five Valleys.

The crew did not leave a trail - no trace of them being here other than our issue was resolved. The crew was very kind and so respectful of our home. We hired Five Valley’s for a carpet cleaning as well as additional cleaning services. They were extremely professional and got the job done quickly with a great attitude from all the technicians! I would recommend FVRC to anybody I know in an emergency situation or cleaning!

Horrible service. We had a fire suppression line freeze and break flooding half our apartment and the management company called five Valleys to take care of it and I wish they hadn't. They took soaking wet items and threw them on top of things that weren't even wet ruining them. They ripped wires out of an entertainment system and just threw them. They refuse to contact us back about any of it. And Even though the property management told them to update us on our place, we never heard anything back from them, I tried calling them but their field operations manager never got back to me. They cut drywall out around all of our piled up stuff and didn't cover any of it. Horrible services and Horrible treatment of customers. Would recommend you look anywhere else besides this company. Absolute trash.

Austin Kominek and his team have been so amazing! We had a real emergency with sewage backing up into our carpeted, finished basement. The 5 Valley team came same day and began work right away. I was contacted by Five Valleys Restoration to assist with some of their visual marketing needs. Through that experience I got a 5-star tour of their behind-the-scenes process and saw how they approach their job. Two words stand out to me: professionalism and responsibility. I was blown away by seeing their shop, vehicle fleet and how they track (and care for) items that come to their shop for cleaning. Their equipment is state of the art, and the pride their technicians take in their jobs is noticeable. Chase's work at Five Valleys with our floor restoration was amazing. I was ready to remove and replace my flooring and decided to give this a try first. My house looks, (and smells) so much better. I was so happy with my 5Valley experience. I had a carpet beetle infestation. Had all carpets cleaned and Hardwood floors scrubbed (with vinegar). I cannot give Five Valleys restoration enough thanks for their exceptional service. August 2021, the pipe under my upstairs bathroom sink burst. It wasn’t discovered for approximately 1 hour and by that time had flooded the inhabited basement apartment. Within a few hours the tenants’ belongings were moved into the garage, as much water mopped up as possible and a restoration company called. The water had gushed through the vents and so much water ran down the walls that the drywall was rippled. Since it was late in the evening, it was decided that I would contact this restoration company in the morning on how we would proceed. When I called that restoration company, they told me they wouldn’t be able to accommodate me for 2 weeks! I was able to get in touch with Five Valleys and within a ½ hour they showed up and started the process of drying the apartment. In addition, the upstairs bathroom had to have flooring torn up and replaced, the vanity dried out and repainted as well as the walls.
Every aspect of drying the apartment, tearing out the drywall and carpeting, and restoring carpet, walls, painting, and some new cabinetry went without a hitch. Special kudos to Tracey, the project manager who oversaw the process. She explained everything her team would be doing as well as was in contact with the insurance company providing them with emails, detailed documentation, photos, and explanations for her reasoning for remediation that the insurance adjustor had overlooked when he was on-site.
The entire team at Five Valleys was in contact with me as to when they would be show up and what they would be taking care of that day.
Each team member was respectful, considerate, and understanding. The final project ended up being a $35K disaster…which was very stressful and emotionally draining since I needed to find a place for my tenants to live and I was living in a mess.
Tracey worked at making the remediation as painless as possible. She went to bat with the insurance company to cover many aspects of restoration that if overlooked could have been costly to me. When I was out of town during this time, my granddaughter was house sitting. Tracey and her team were in contact with my granddaughter to keep her notified of when they would be arriving at the house. At the time I was out of town, Tracey visited with the flooring company, emailed me pics of the flooring choices and helped me decide on colors.
It’s not often you find this kind of quality customer service anymore. I highly recommend Five Valleys for all the services they offer…Carpet cleaning, painting, drywall, flooring installation, mitigation, water damage and clean up.

Our business had an unfortunate incident on a Friday afternoon that couldn’t be put off for the weekend. Window and building damage. They came right away and took care of everything. They were professional and friendly and got the temporary repairs done in a timely manner. I highly recommend Five Valleys Restoration.

Five Valleys came in after another restoration company had made a mess of the project and saved the day. I had worked with them in the past on another project, but when there was a major house fire, I did not know that I could hire anyone I wanted to complete the work so I hired one of State Farms preferred vendors with great regrets. Had Five Valleys been able to start the project and finish to completion, all would be good. They did everything in their power to bail me out of a very bad situation and I will use them for any and all projects in the future. I highly recommend the company and especially Tracy for their honesty and professionalism. This is a company that truly cares about its customers.

Initially thought they were going to work out well. They responded to my call about a burst pipe promptly and got someone there that night. However that is the end of the positives.

During the drying process I had to reach out multiple times to get an update for progress as I was t provided them on the agreed upon time.

Additionally from the first day I told them my preference would be for them to handle repairs. This was communicated to both the guy on-site and our project manager. It took 3.5 weeks with multiple unreturned calls to get any form of estimate for repairs. Requests to work with a different project manager were brushed aside and met with empty promises of “she’ll get back to you today”.

In the meantime they removed all heating equipment without communication and did not sure the heat was fully on, leaving our cabin to refreeze and cause significant further damage and a significant increase in cost to repair. The only response was we can send someone out and charge you further to fix our mess.

Would not recommend.

A deer fell in my window well and was unable to get out. As the deer panicked, it became quite a disaster with blood, fur, broken glass, and damage. I was at a loss and after calling 911/Fish & Game, I reached out to 5 Valleys Restoration. Their response was immediate and professional. 2 associates arrived undaunted, and they sanitized, cleared out, cleaned up the damage, and removed a lot of glass. They also boarded and securely sealed the window alleviating worry and the need for immediate glass/window installation. The event was quite traumatic (we refer to it as the "deer crime scene"), but 5 Valleys Restoration’s professional and immediate response alleviated much distress. PS. The deer survived.

Five Valleys Restoration and Cleaning did a great job cleaning my carpet and upholstery. Lead carpet technician Chase was professional, courteous, hard-working, highly motivated, conscientious, and did a great job. I had originally spoken with a Bitterroot company about cleaning my carpets but they freaked out when I asked if they would mind wearing a mask in my house (they told me masks were dangerous and their company didn't believe in them). Chase was not only willing to wear a mask but also openly discussed his vaccination status with me. Five Valleys was professional and great to work with. I'd highly recommend them.

We met with Five Valley’s twice and ultimately opted for a company that was warmer, more compassionate, and more responsive to clients’ needs and priorities.
I disliked the cold and condescending attitude of the person in charge and I don’t think I could work with him even if I was comfortable signing my home away to him to restore “as he sees fit”.
I’m frustrated that we wasted time with a company that doesn’t respect the home owner. (Mostly the guy in charge. Sadly, the other staff wasn’t nearly so off putting.)

We had extensive water damage in our basement due to a break in our sprinkler system while we were away. We contacted Five Valleys Restoration and they responded immediately sending a crew out to determine the damage and start working on mitigation. They did an amazing job getting everything dried out and repaired in a timely manner. Everyone was very conscientious and professional. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend this company.

They were courteous, on time, and professional. Did the job hired to do, and cleaned working spaces when complete. Asked if they should wear a mask, and notified me of vaccination status. Took shoes off upon entering and took care to clean equipment before going to clean carpet areas. Always love having services by Five Valley's. Local company with a commitment to the Missoula area and supports it's community with generous donations, along with volunteering at various establishments by management, ownership and staff. **Duct Cleaning and carpet Cleaning performed this week, and have Mold Inspection next week**

We hired five valleys to assess and clean carpets that we honestly didn’t think could be saved. Chase showed up on time and gave it his best effort. I wish I took before and after pictures because the transformation was unbelievable. With his new high tech machinery and expert understanding of cleaning techniques, Chase was able bring carpet back to life and keep it out of the landfill. Nobody wants to call restoration services but, Five Valleys Restoration provided us great service from the first call into the front office all the way through the service visit. Each employee was transparent with pricing and provided expertise on-site as well as direction as to next steps to mitigate mold formation. Jason was excellent and thorough with his inspection and follow through service well worth the money and piece of mind knowing your options. Thank you to everyone at Five Valleys!
