This is a true review from a client that hired Expert Renovations.

Expert renovations was hired here in Leland, NC on October 27th after hurricane Florence. I hired an out of state company because the local contractors were booked and I needed the work done. This company was hired to erect an eight foot fence and repair my roof. The fence was supposed to be erected by Thanksgiving that deadline was not met. They parked their campers and equipment on my property for 5 weeks at no charge using my electricity and water after being paid 50% downdown ($6725.00).They only erected half the fence by December 15th and no roof work was done. They told me it was a special order metal snd the order was delayed when I was able to purchase the same metal for my new contractor at Home Depot. The new contractor had to tear down the gate Expert Renovations had built and rebuild it correctly. The pickets that Expert Renovations had put up only had one nail on the top and one on the bottom and they were used pickets from old jobs when they should have been new ones. I had asked for a contract four times, twice by text and twice verbally. He never produced a contract. I had to leave my back door unlocked because they kept blowing circuit breakers. Rot made himself at home while I was at work and took showers in my home. His workers had to beg for their pay. I don't think $125 should be something to beg for. That is if you are a good business owner.

I gave them a new deadline of Christmas to finish the fence on December 15th. On the 16th him and his two man crew left to go do another job when I should have been first priority. At 1pm that day I contacted Roy and told him to get his campers and equipment off my property.

Save yourself the nightmare and don't hire this company.
