When no others could fix our drywall crack, Carlos did! We did a large remodel of our home. After moving back in, when the weather got colder, a large crack developed from the window casing to the ceiling. We expected some minimal settling and had our painter make the repairs only to find the crack reappear- FIVE separate times! Our builder returned multiple times and made some suggestions which we tried and did not work. The architect came out with his structural engineers but could not find the problem. We searched behind the walls for signs of moisture entry. We had a separate handyman cut out drywall and replace. We hired another drywall crew who showed up to do the work and told me they forgot something and never returned. Finally, we were recommended Carlos. He examined the crack and determined to take the drywall out again all the way to the window casing and replace. When he did, he found that the drywall had been hammered tightly into the window casing leaving no room for expansion/contraction with weather/humidity changes. He reinstalled the drywall correctly and now we are five years out and the crack has never returned. We are so pleased! We have had Carlos back to do other drywall jobs (around a door and re-skimming a ceiling) and he does excellent work. The end result is very straight and smooth. And Carlos cleans up too. He always responds quickly and has never no-showed or been late. We would highly recommended Espinosa Construction LLC.
