While we ended up choosing another company to complete our kitchen renovation and home extension, DMF will be the first company on our list the next time any work needs to be done in our home. I can't speak highly enough of our experience in receiving an estimate for our project-if the experience was this good before we paid DMF any money, I imagine that the quality of service would be equal or greater once a contract is signed and a project is underway.

Just had my first floor windows, (13) replaced with DMF and am very satisfied with the result. The team came out to measure in advance to make sure everything went smoothly and sure enough it did. The attention to detail inside and outside of the house, the prep to the work and cleanup all went according to plan without any hidden costs or surprises. The guys are happy to chat with you about every detail of the project which puts you at ease.

We recently completed a second floor remodel with DMF and could not be happier with the results and support we received from Dave and team along the way. They were able to turn an unused bedroom/loft into a master suite complete with bathroom buildout and reframing the space to make more sense for our needs.

They work with quality subcontractors and are always on your side. Any minor hiccups were promptly sorted and we never were made to feel like we were making mountains out of molehills whenever we were nitpicky.

Aside from the work itself, we greatly appreciate the relationships forged not only with us but our dogs, who by the end of construction, always looked forward to their morning pets and treats. DMF genuinely care about their clients and their families, and want them to be happy with the end result.

I highly recommend Dave and DMF Construction. I had trouble finding a contractor after a house fire and he was one of the few contractors who seemed knowledgeable and experienced enough to take on the project. Most importantly, he was highly communicative and responsive. Trust was quickly built between us. Unfortunately, I was not able to use him for the project due to unrelated issues with my insurance company. However, the moment I need any work done on my property, Dave will be the first person I call.

Dave and Mark have been nothing but amazing with our project. We basically rebuilt our whole house. There were more problems than anyone can even imagine. No matter how many obstacles we encountered they were both there making this as stress free as possible. The final product is more than we could have asked for.

Dave and team did a tremendous job of working with us to build an addition onto our home. He was there every step working through some permit difficulties with the town and was always available when we contacted him. He walked us through several decisions we needed to make and always gave us an honest opinion of what he would do if it was his family house.

The end result was great with all work completed according to plan and within the timeline they communicated to us. We were very pleased and would definitely work with them again.

I definitely recommend DMF construction! When I bought my fixer upper home, I was aware of all the upgrades that I needed to do, especially when it came to the garage. The garage walls and ceiling had holes in it, there were concerns about the structure, etc. I shopped around for different companies, but once I met Dave and his crew, I knew they were the ones for me. He answered all my questions thoroughly, listen to all my concerns and worked with me to make a plan. I am so happy with the work and this is the first time ever my car will fit in the garage during the wonderful snowstorms we have in NJ. Plus his crew built fold up stairs so I can use the attic for storage space.

Dave, Mark and all their subs were an absolute dream to work with. We created a suite for my parents who have dementia and Alzheimer’s and the entire crew was kind and compassionate. They were very considerate of our schedules. The work is beautiful and there is great attention to detail. Dave is very thorough and from start to finish we had a phase schedule and weekly if not daily communication. Either Dave or Mark was on site daily in the beginning then bi-weekly as the project neared completion. I can’t say enough about their integrity and trustworthiness and we are beyond pleased with all aspects of the project. They will be our choice should we every do more renovations.

We have had a great experience with DMF Construction (Dave). We wanted to add 500 SQFT to our house with family room and sun room. Dave was able to quickly provide us the competitive detailed estimate, which helped us in quick decisioning on the next steps. He was fully available for quick discussions on the estimates and guided us through the entire process. This helped us in understanding the process and made us our minds for adding additional sqft to our property.

We used DMF for a gut renovation of the main two floors of our home and are thrilled with the end result! Dave and Mark were extremely easy to work with and were in close contact throughout the renovation, telling us what items / areas we needed to focus on in the short-term while not neglecting long-term project needs that needed more lead-time. They handled all of the coordination with the subcontractors, like electricians, plumbers, inspectors, etc., which was extremely helpful. They always listened to our thoughts and wishes and made sure they were reflected in the final product. For example, we wanted wainscoting in our dining room. We showed them images we liked and then they made sure we were on the exact same page about style, height, etc. to ensure our vision became the reality. Our family lived in the home - with a young child, no less - during the renovation, and Dave and Mark were extremely accommodating, even altering the order of operations at-times to ensure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend them and anticipate using their services again in the future for other home projects!

I had a great experience working with Dave on a large residential project involving a rear two-story addition with major interior alterations. Dave followed the architectural plans to a tee, and the project came out perfect. An honest and reliable company with superior workmanship. As an architect, I've worked with many contractors of the years and Dave is on my list of contractors that I would recommend!

After meeting and speaking with Mark, we hired DMF Construction to do a complete CUSTOM renovation on our master bathroom, down to studs and rafters. They came everyday until the work was complete, start to finish. Put tarps down each day and even sectioned off the work area floor to ceiling with plastic, keeping the rest of the house clean. I’m a bit “picky and a bit of a perfectionist” when it comes to certain things. I must say their custom tile work and craftsmanship are excellent! They even came back two days later to fix something that was OUR fault. If you’re looking for a reliable company that does great work, don’t hesitate. I would highly recommend DMF Construction!

We hired DMF Construction little over a year ago to oversee a sizeable project that included adding an extension to our house, extending one of the upstairs bedrooms, remodeling the kitchen and the first floor to create a more open plan, replacing the exterior, and finally adding a patio in the backyard. Dave was in fact one of the very few contractors who actually took the time to return our call and we are glad that we decided to go with them. Starting from finding a good architect he oversaw each detail of the work to ensure that the entire project is completed in a professional way. He provided us a clear understanding of the phases of the project, including breakdown of the budget over time. Dave and Mark were true gentlemen and whenever we had a concern, they made sure it was addressed in the right way. Communications were superb and Dave always responded promptly to any questions or concerns that provided a great comfort in knowing that the work was being done by someone we could completely rely on. Every sub-contractor who did the work was professional and we did not have any issue with the quality or any other aspect of the work. We would highly recommend the DMF team.

Dave, Mark and the whole DMF family did a stellar job on our project. Adding an extension and doing a complete interior and exterior renovation of the existing house was no small task and from step one, Dave was there to answer every question we had. He was extremely responsive via email and text - always willing to explain things and make adjustments as needed. Even when it was hard to see the end of such a large scale project, Dave was there walking us through the next steps ensuring we were happy. The quality of work his crew does is top level. Dave Anico and his brother, Mark, completed a new Sunroom Addition to our home that included a Powder Room. They did an absolutely splendid job and we are enjoying our new space now.

This Sunroom includes vaulted ceiling with fan, Mini-Split AC/Heat unit, tile flooring, 8 large windows, a bay window and a single door with exterior steps to our deck. The Powder room has a toilet, sink, and window. They repurposed gliding patio doors and arranged for masonry work for exterior steps and built exterior wood steps. The Powder room has a toilet, sink, and window.

The addition required a crawl space with a sump pump and masonry steps to the exterior.

DMF sent very competent and pleasant Construction men, Roofers, Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC, Flooring. Painting, Gutter, Drywall, Insulation, and Masonry workers. We were never concerned about having their workers in our home; they worked neatly and completed everything to our liking and needs.

They referred us to Building, Roofing, Window, Tile, and Masonry resources as needed to source our requirements.

They worked with an Architect to develop the plans and arranged for permits / inspections so that the job proceeded smoothly and in a timely fashion.

The Sunroom is just beautiful and a very lovely room to sit in with our family. Guests have complimented us and DMF on this wonderful and useful addition to our home.

It is important to note that this construction was completed during the pandemic with all of the attendant supply problems. They worked with us closely to get it all done to our satisfaction and suggested alternatives as needed. Dave and/or Mark were onsite for all inspections and handled everything as needed. A Port-A-Potty and Dumpster were provided onsite to keep everything in order while the construction was ongoing and the disruptions to a minimum.

DMF is a pleasure to do business with, Dave and Mark should be very proud of their company and the work that they do.

We recently completed an interior kitchen remodel with Dave & DMF Construction and are thrilled with the results! We have a 1950's split level that was screaming for better flow, function and storage while maintaining a clean and modern, mid-century aesthetic. Dave helped us vet our ideas from the beginning, was easy to reach when questions arose and responded in a timely manner. He helped us understand the project roll-out for each step of the process.  As the kitchen project got underway, we expanded on our original wish list to include updating our front door and painting the outside shutters as well as replacing our entryway and den flooring, designing and replacing our interior railings and even relocating the doorway to our son's room. Somehow Dave made it all happen ON TIME and ON BUDGET! Next up are the bathrooms...we hope to work with DMF once again and highly recommend them too.

My husband and I have been trying to figure out how to add an addition to our house and Dave has been nothing but great to work with! A few years back I hired Dave and his brother Mark to remodel my bathroom. That project took only a couple of weeks and went very well. Dave and Mark are also great to work with. They’re always responsive to any changes and/or suggestions that popped up along the way. That made this project sail along without a hitch. I also thought their sub contractors were great. Each one of them was courteous, professional and did a really good job. Since then, and more recently, I have used them on a major backyard patio project as well as a front step and walkway job..
