David is very personable and knowledgeable about roofing. He inspected the property and texted us photos of our roof to show us what needed to be corrected. His crew properly flashed our chimney and replaced all of our fasteners for a fair price. We just moved to the area from out of state and he even gave us some pointers on processes and people to help us get settled in this area. We'll definitely be using his services in the future and recommending him to others.

Comes out in a timely manner and stands behind his work , prices are very fair . He had to come back to re-do a siding job that got damaged again by weather , and did not even charge me to come back. While he was there he even did a few other things I needed that I didn't even as for ! Highly recommend !

Clawson roofing is the best. The yard was clean as could be . No nails,no trash, like no one was there. The roof is beautiful. The price was on point. He did my mom's roof as well.

David has been my roofer for the best part of 20 years now. He has always been prompt, professional, and easy to deal with. He’s performed post-hurricane repairs after Katrina, replaced my entire roof after the original roof got too old, patched my standing seam flat roof as a cheap stopgap measure when it started leaking, and recently repaired rather than replaced all my standing seam flat roof, as a cost saving measure. Over the last three weeks he and his crew removed and replaced much of my flat roof and cedar siding way up high on my house. They did a phenomenal job. When David and I noticed that some of the siding wasn’t 100% parallel he redid it without my even asking and at no extra charge.

I vouch for David’s integrity and believe his pricing is more than fair. I would recommend him for any project, even non-roofing issues. He recently re-routed a 60-amp/240v wire that was posing issues through a very tight attic, as an example. I don’t believe there are many like David around any more. Most are more interested in a quick buck. He cares about the end result and wants it to last. He stands behind his work and his people are respectful and earnest.

I have a metal roof and it began to leak in my livingroom and bedroom. I called David's company and he came out the same day and replaced screws that were loose or missing. The price was very reasonable and I plan to use him in the spring to inspect and replace all the screws.

I hired David to replace missing siding on my house and another structure. David responded to my voicemail promptly and came out to assess in short order. He answered all my questions and advised me on various options. Very professional and the repairs look great! I would hire him again.

I attempted to contact this company for a roofing estimate and a gentlemen answering with “this is David” I asked if this was the roofing company and he repeats two more times “this is David”. When I asked again if this was a roofing company, he hung up on me. Very unprofessional. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day, but you don’t treat potential customers like that. Send your money somewhere else.

David worked with my insurance adjuster to get my roof replaced. He actually came out the day before Hurricane Ida to tarp my roof and prevent further damage. His price was excellent and the work was first class. I recommend this company very highly.

I called around to several roofers in the area to repair some minor storm damage after Ida. David personally called me back the same day to set up an inspection (weeks later none of the 4 other roofing companies I tried have even return my calls). After looking at my roof he was up front about the extent of the damage and the costs and even pointed out some issues from when the house was built. I travel for work and David worked with my schedule to get the repairs taken care of quickly and at a reasonable cost. Thanks David!

I sustained some damage from the storm last month. Some shingles were blown off. A friend recommended David Clawson as he had previously used them. I called David and he answered on the first ring. Sent him some pictures that Friday. He was back in contact with me the next day. He completed the repairs yesterday. From initial call to work completed for me was under 2 weeks. Small roof leak needed repair. Called David about repair and he came out the next day to give me an estimate. David agreed to work my repair in ASAP and scheduled the repair. Most didn’t even give us a call back, or they would say they would come out to give an estimate but then never showed. Finally a friend recommended David. I had suspected roof damage due to an increase in the number of granules found on my driveway. A first roofer I contacted came out and advised me that I needed a whole new roof, especially a new ridge vent cap at the very least. In an effort to get a second opinion, several people referred me to David Clawson Roofing. David came out and conducted a complete inspection of my roof. I was surprised to have him tell me that my roof was fine and I had several more years of use before I could expect any problems. This impressed me greatly because I have found over the years so many contractors are not always honest. I didn't have an extension ladder so I had never been on my roof. David could have easily lied and said the same thing the first roofer said. Instead, he was honest and straightforward; something we don't see much anymore. For that reason, I will most definitely be using David Clawson Roofing when it is time I do need a new roof. Thanks, David !!
