This is an amazing resource for vintage camper repairs. We were in the Grand Canyon last summer with our newly acquired '66 Kit Companion and someone stopped to ask us about it. They had a vintage camper as well that was recently repaired and I got the contact info from them as ours was in need of some structural repairs. As soon as we returned from our trip, I contacted Donnie to ask about repairs. He responded quickly and came down to Denver to take a look and give a rough estimate. We accepted and brought our trailer up to Bailey. The amount of care and attention to detail is unmatched from any other camper repair establishment we contacted. Communication was quick and comfortable. We were kept updated through FB posts and via text about progress. He replaced all interior panels, new roof, new rear window, rebuilt the front storage areas, added a new roof vent with a fan, creatively fixed some electrical access issues, welded the rear bumper back on, and re-insulated the entire thing. When we dropped it off, the right front corner was sagging off so bad the door would hardly close. Now its straight and square and looks amazing. The rebuild is solid and we expect to keep enjoying our trailer for many years to come. Thank you Colorado Vintage CamperS for giving "Firefly" another lease on life! I highly recommend this company to anyone with a vintage camper in need of some extra TLC.
Donnie replaced the ABS composite roof on my 1996 Coleman Santa Fe pop-up camper. The original roof was a mess—it was cracked in multiple places and falling apart. Donnie custom-fabricated a sheet metal replacement roof and fixed the “sag” in the middle. It works and looks great! Coleman pop-ups with cracked ABS roofs are pretty common, and every time I take it out, other Coleman owners ask me where I got the new roof. I tell them “Colorado Vintage Campers—ask for Donnie!”
Donnie installed a bathroom in our 1973 Argosy! High quality workmanship and a quick turn around time. I will definitely reach out if I need more work done on "Norman"
