Chimney Experts

We had to have a water heater installed but an issue was found with the water heater vent going through chimney. Chimney Experts was recommended by my plumber and they were onsite in less than 2 hours of my call.

Chimney Experts was able to quickly diagnose the problem and provide me with an estimate. They made the repair on the same day and accepted check or credit card as payment. We were very satisfied by the timing and professionalism of this company.

Sometimes a company does the work they agreed to do, but the problem that they were aiming to fix remains. That happens in nearly every profession. Often, when that does occur, you never see or hear from the company again. Or, if you do hear from them, they say "We did the work that we promised. That isn't our problem anymore." That was not the case with Chimney Experts. When I met David, I told him that I had a leaky chimney. He said it was likely the chimney cap, which was old and undoubtedly needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, replacing the chimney cap didn't resolve the leak (though I am glad he recommended replacing it, because it was work that needed to be done). It took several more visits to finally resolve the issue (after all, water can be stubborn, and it will find strange ways to get in), but David and Dom both stuck with it. They were polite, persistent, and committed to leaving the job complete.

This feels like a rare level of professionalism. The team at Chimney Experts could have moved on and left me frustrated while searching for another solution. Instead, they saw it all the way through until I was completely satisfied and the leak was gone. They are true professionals with a highest level of integrity. I would recommend them, without reservation, to anyone that needs work done on their chimney. You won't be disappointed!

Do not use them. It’s been 11 months and they still haven’t finished the work on my chimney. He had the floor done as well and they came out terribly. He had the paint job as well didn’t even try to finish it. He’ll tell you he needs all of the money upfront to order the product and they will leave you hanging. I have made appointments and they will not show up. Look around before you choose this company.

Chimney Experts installed and upkeeps our wood stove. They are extremely knowledgeable and are willing to take the time to explain what they’re doing and why. Always willing to answer questions. Couldn’t be happier.

Friends of ours recently lost their home due to a chimney fire so we thought this would be a good time to have our chimney inspected and cleaned. David and Dom at Chimney Experts made the process very easy. They were timely, professional, and economical. They took before and after photos and used a drone to inspect the chimney cap. I would highly recommend Chimney Experts! I had issues with my chimney cap not staying secure during high winds/storms. Last year I received a quote for about $500 from another company. Due to my procrastination the quote expired. When I called the same company back, the quote changed from $500 to $1500! I found Chimney Experts with a Google search, read the reviews and gave them a call. David came out the same day to take a look at the damage and said he could fix it at a fraction of the cost. By the end of business the next day the work was completed and my bill was $350 compared to $1500. I greatly appreciate David’s honesty and the integrity of this company.

I can not say enough good things about the job David, Don, Craig and Moses did on my chimney! They had quite a job to do as the previous people I hired not only put up a horrible looking chimney but also endangered my life by causing carbon monoxide to escape into my home. Chimney Experts quickly started my job they were here everyday till the job was finished. They went way above the call of duty at a fair price and most importantly I knew they were going to do the job right! You can not go wrong with Chimney Experts!

I called Chimney Experts to come out and look at a concern I had from storm damage in March. My chimney cover was loose, and the chimney was full of leaves. David explained it as a cup with some nesting leaves in it, but the straw (exhaust from my water heater) was fine, and that there was no need for concern about carbon monoxide. Additionally I asked if I needed to clean out that debris, or cover the chimney holes so that moisture does not build up. David explained to me that covering the chimney or sealing it would actually make it more humid, as the humidity would not have a way to escape, so it doesn't make sense to clean it out and/or seal it. David said I can keep the cover on tighter with something like a brick on top, but that may expose me to liability should it fall off and roll down the roof and he would not recommend it. David also said he doesn't see evidence of chimney damage so there isn't chimney repair needed. I called another chimney company and they said I should cut down my chimney to the roof line and cut a hole in the bottom of the chimney in the basement to clean it out which was both unnecessary and expensive. VERY different than my experience with Chimney Experts. Chimney Experts came out for a free estimate and let me know I am in ok shape, and didn't try to force me to buy any services. I would highly recommend this honest, friendly, competent business if you need chimney work!

Recently I had Chimney Experts to my (new to me) house to service two 50 year old wood burning stoves. David was incredibly knowledgeable, took time to educate me on the details of my stoves, and was meticulous in the work performed! Thank you and I would highly recommend.

David was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. My furnace broke and my home was 54-58 degrees and he talked me threw the anxiety of being a first time fireplace owner to get my house warmed back up for my kids. Very kind, patient and knowledgeable.
