Eli and his crew recently finished the remediation of my crawl space.
It was in very bad shape with insulation falling down, high humidity, dust and dirt. It was affecting our in house air quality.
I found all my encounters with Eli and his staff to be of a very positive nature. He was upbeat and knowledgeable at all times. He was very professional and kept me informed of all plans and procedures as they occurred.
After removing all the debris and leveling the floor of the crawlspace they were able to encase it in plastic and foam and then install a dehumidifier.
The resulting space is extremely clean and completely white for easy inspection.
I am very happy with the job they did and have no complaints at all.
I would use them again in the future and highly recommend them to those who need this kind of work done.

Eli and his team are outstanding. We had Central VA Crawlspace Solutions install foam insulation board over the cement block in our uninsulated garage and basement areas for our home in Ednam Forest. As a result, the living spaces above are SO MUCH warmer! That was an expected result, as promised. Central Virginia Exterminating and Crawlspace Solutions saved our house. Our farmhouse built in 1926 was ready to implode. We virtually had no crawlspace. We were concerned about moisture and possible structural damage from termites.
Eli diagnosed that there were termites as well as powder post beetles. He recommended treating the infestation , digging out a deeper crawlspace and encapsulation.to address any moisture problems.
Eli and his team started digging by hand and discovered a ticking time bomb. There were electrical, plumbing, and structural issues as well as termites and beetles throughout. Eli coordinated work from electricians, plumbers, and carpenters, as well as his own team to create a crawlspace so clean and dry that you could have a picnic under there. He created an entrance, put in lighting, a dehumidifier, moisture barrier, and foam board. The house is now mildew free and drier and more comfortable as well as insect free.
Their quality of work was superb and the personal attention to detail was beyond compare. We were apprised of progress on a daily basis and communication was excellent. They treated the house as if it were their own and us as family.
We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their services. They are a business that you can trust to do what they promise at a fair price and in a timely manner. We were completely satisfied.

I have been a Class A General Contractor in Florida and Virginia and have been in the building business both commercial and residential for over 25 years – also previously licensed in swimming pools and solar as well. Having recently retired from active work, my wife and I recently completed a major remodel of a 200 year old farm house out in the county where we now reside. I know the construction business inside and out, and I know a top rate sub-contractor when I see him/or her. So my opinion from an old timer at 75 yrs, should mean something to you. Excellent company to do business with! They have such a stellar reputation they have a waiting list for work. They were kind enough to work us in to their busy schedule and did a fantastic job. They are clean, organized and professional and deliver on time while exceeding expectations. Their paperwork and contractual documentation is the most thorough and professional I have seen in my 50+ years. Well worth any wait time to have them do your exterminating or crawlspace. We would give them several stars if possible.

We can’t say enough good things about Central Va Exterminating. They work hard as a team. They are go-getters, ready to get a job started and do a great job for us. They are conscientious about their clients, their property, the costs, and even the emotional challenges that can come with their work.
Here are some examples: while cleaning out the crawl space (an unpleasant task in the best of circumstances), they came across some rocks set aside in a container. Did they sling them out in the trash pile? No. They put them aside and asked us about them, because they thought they looked special. Indeed they were. They were rocks shaped carefully and used long, long ago as tools. Another example of their concern was their parking on the ever-soggy property; this is a farm, and with all the rain last year, there was almost nowhere to park without doing damage. They found a way. Thirdly, my MIL fell in the driveway and had a fairly bad cut above her eye while they were working here. It was Marcus and Dennis who convinced her she needed to see a doctor, and Eli and Brenda who called to check on her welfare after they were finished with the job here.
They care about doing a good job, because they know their reputation, staying in business, and providing local employment depends on it. They listened to our expectations. They were clear in explanations of services to be completed. They outlined it on paper then followed through and EXCEEDED their commitment. Always pleasant, responsive, open, fair, and hard-working, the team at Central Virginia Exterminating did outstanding work, and we are very glad to have a very dry, mold and pest-free crawl space and a house where we can breathe easily.

I'm updating this review to 5 stars. If there was a higher rating I'd provide it. A prior inspection for a home purchase failed to observe obvious signs of past and present infestation. I originally wrote a very poor review after experiencing major termite swarming just a few months later. After my experience and review, the owner, Eli, spoke directly to me with his concerns. He came out with another employee and performed a through inspection. He found multiple issues that were not detected in the prior inspection. They spent 3 hours performing a detailed treatment inside and out of my 139 year old farmhouse. Eli is, without a doubt, an honest owner/operator of the highest integrity. They were friendly, informative and professional through it all. I would highly recommend hiring his company for your pest control problems when the need arises! Eli Watson, from Central Virginia Exterminating, performed a termite inspection and well-water testing to meet VA/FHA Loan requirements for the home I'm purchasing in northern Buckingham County. Eli arrived on-time for the scheduled appointment, and was both personable and professional. He systematically performed the inspections, patiently explaining to me the reasons behind everything he was examining. He was very knowledgeable, and throughout the inspection, he pointed out various features of the house and yard that were either of exceptional quality or were potential problem areas. I really learned a lot! The reports describing the results of the termite inspection and water testing were concise, complete and quickly delivered. The services he provided were very reasonably priced. Central VA Exterminating also conducts mold testing and septic system inspections, and offer a variety of natural pest-control treatments.
