They did our Kitchen remodel after I had a flood in my kitchen main drain. They were very professional from start to finish. The design team gave us a fresh up to date kitchen and the carpenters and cabinet installers were very awesome and explained everything step by step. The owner even came to inspect after the job was done. The admin staff were very helpful with working with my insurance company as well! I was very satisfied with the entire project and would definitely recommend this company for any of your remodeling needs!

Joe and the crew at Cedar Crest Homes were a pleasure to work with. They took care of my insurance claim work and found a way to work within my budget while still providing an excellent product. The workmen are great guys and do professional work. I will definitely be using them again for future jobs.

The hose for the sprinkler system inside our wall sprang a leak. This caused significant damage to a bedroom closet and bathroom. Progressive Insurance responded to the claim and hired Cedar Crest Homes to make the repairs. Cedar Crest did a fantastic job. Looks better than new. They were very professional and dependable.

Cedar Crest Homes restored our faith in service workers. Our home had water damage in multiple areas due to no fault of us. Cedar Crest Homes sent us very professional contractors who restored our home to one we can be proud of and enjoy again. The contractors arrived on time each day, used their time wisely, gave us detailed information step by step prior to performing the task, and were extremly careful with our items in the home. We greatly appreciate how they cleaned up prior to leaving each visit.

We highly recommend Cedar Crest Homes.
Blessings!!

The restoration work done on our house from water damage could not have been done better. The paint and drywall work was top notch.

They wasted my time. I spend two weeks on them coming out and getting quotes when I could have had someone else start the project. They said we were good to go to pay my deductible and then before I paid a week early, I was asking to see if a few things were going to get approved like they trim being replaced before I officially sent funds. Then he stated his floor guy won’t be available and they can’t fix my kitchen in the 3 month time line I have. Luckily I was told that before paying them because once you pay you’re legally bound to let them finish the job. I don’t feel like they were very reliable because after telling me they were going to start this week he started telling me they didn’t have time to do the job. Don’t waste your time. Also why did they need to come out multiple times for insurance quotes before starting? That could have been done in one trip.

This company worked on my house for over a year, granted covid played a huge role in the timeline. It was a huge project and these guys did a good job for the most part. They made some very silly and avoidable mistakes (damage to personal property due to carelessness). They followed through on zero of their promises and then gave excuses when confronted. Some of those mistakes have yet to be addressed and we were forced to file a complaint with the BBB. Hopefully the Better Business Bureau can help them figure out how to correct their wrongs in a professional manner. Joe was very difficult to deal with once he got what he needed from us for the insurance claim.

“Quality First” should be the last phrase used to describe their company’s workmanship. They cut corners wherever they could and threw my house back together with “Laziness First” as their motto. If you choose to use this company I would recommend inspecting their work while it is still in process and staying on top of them as far as quality goes. Some design decisions were made without consent as well.

All in all, my house looks great at first glance regardless of the issues I have to correct on my own. I would not use their company again if given the choice. This company was selected for us by the insurance company. Is there such a thing as a 5 star contractor? No. Pick your poison I guess.

Cedar Crest Homes was recommended by my insurance provider to handle a tree that took down our power lines, part of our wooden fence, and damaged the exterior of the home.
Going to one source for the electrical, tree removal, fencing, and exterior repair was a life saver during a very vulnerable time for me. Their efficiency and fairness convinced me to hire them to fix my front porch.
They found ways to make things work even when the utility was not helpful. I'm sad to be moving out of their territory as I felt that I could rely on them for any repair or upgrade.

The company is terrific! They worked hard to coordinate with our insurance Adjuster and get our Bedroom and Bathroom back to normal. Their Project Manager was kind, considerate and cooperative. He kept in contact with us so we never had to wonder what was going on with our construction. Everyone they sent into our home was friendly and helpful. Thank you very much on a job well done!

Cedar Crest Homes did the repair work on my mom's kitchen and laundry room after water damage. Jason, Paul and their crew were excellent. Not only did the work turn out great but the consideration and kindness they showed my 84 year old mom went above and beyond. In the times we live in we can sometimes get caught up in "getting the job done". At no time during this project did Cedar Crest forget they were dealing with people and especially a "little old lady." My family and I would highly recommend Cedar Crest Homes for any project you are planning. Glenn Steinhorst.

We had water damage and hired Cedar Crest to renovate our hallway floors and closet wall. They worked fast and did an excellent job! Jason and his team were friendly and professional! They also did a superb job on the drywall and trim! My husband and I are looking to using them again for future projects. Thanks to everyone!

Cedar Crest Homes, LLC has excellent subcontractors. Unfortunately, they have a problem with a project manager. He is incompetent.
It has taken over five months to renovate our kitchen from water damage because of a poor employee.
Insurance paid on July 24. Cedar Crest Homes, LLC. received a check on July 25 from us.
In the meantime we received a certified letter from Contract Furnishings Mart instructing us to make our next check payable to Cedar Crest Homes, LLC and Contract Furnishings Mart. Contract Furnishings Mart wants their money. Something done not seem right.

Mismanagement of money and one bad project manager.

While the people I'veworked with are very nice and seem to care .... and what work they did was awesome.. . It's been two months since they started a job they told me might take two days to do. Meanwhile, I'm left without a usable shower and missing trim elsewhere.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
