Canovas Roofing Inc. couldn’t be any more professional than a roofing company could be from the beginning of the job to the end of the job, Abraham the owner knows his trade very well, he uses nothing but high quality materials, very helpful when needing help picking out the right color shingle, explaining exactly how the jobs going to go, and a very nice person at that, his workers are phenomenal, it’s literally unbelievable how well they work together in synchronized order, you can really see the professionalism in all of them, Benito the Foreman is right there if you have any questions about the job, they literally perform magic on your roof, the cleanup at the end of the day is amazing they literally clean areas that don’t need cleaning, they take good care of your home, I’m very happy with my new roof, after my neighbor seen how my roof came out and how that team works, he’s replacing his 25 year old roof as well, Abraham will give you high quality with low prices, I would highly recommend Canovas Roofing to my friends and family, and anyone else looking for any type of roofing needs !!!!

I contacted a number of larger roofing companies in my area and was frustrated to discover they were only interested in taking on jobs that involved complete roof replacement, not re-lays or repairs. Fortunately, this lead me to find Canovas Roofing, a smaller family owned business. Abraham was happy to come out and assess the requirements for the roofing work I needed. After a thorough inspection, with tons of photos, he gave me an assessment of what he felt needed to be done and why. His estimate for the work was very reasonable and at the end there were no hidden fees or surprises.

After agreeing, he showed up to start the job when promised, and worked continuously until the job was complete, and kept us appraised of all the progress throughout the job. Abraham and his team were very respectful of our property and cleaned up at the end of each day, and left our home without a trace of their work at the end of the job.

Because of the excellent work Abraham and his team did on our roof we recently asked him to come back out and repair some water damaged support beams around our house. Very satisfied with the work that Abraham and 3 other crew workers did for my flat roof house. Was very clear on the estimates before the work started and when the work would start (I had to wait about 3 weeks). He was responsive when I needed to reach out to him. Work involved city inspectors which gave me confidence that I'm dealing with a professional. As a Wilmington local myself, it's a big plus to support a fellow local business.

After obtaining multiple estimates from various contractors, I found Canovas Roofing to be the best fit for the job. I had the sense from Abraham that they would do a quality job. When the estimate came in I found that their price was very competitive with the other companies. They proved that my selection was right. They did a quality job on my roof replacement using only quality materials. They also did some needed reinforcements to make the roof more sturdy. As part of the job they added a two foot roof extension to one side of the house to provide an eave and it came out beautiful. Because of this it is easy for me to recommend Canovas Roofing.

Abraham the owner was on site the entire time this company was replacing our roof. We are overly impressed with this company. Our new roof was reasonably priced, and I promise whoever uses this company will be satisfied. We had leaks in our home as the prior company that built our roof did a very poor job. We now have a roof that will not leak and it’s beautiful as well.

I initially call Canovas Roofing INC. for a small patio roof repair, once the wook began, we discovered I need to replace my existing roof, which was causing the problems with the patio. I agreed and the work began. The roofers were very skillful, knowledgeable, timely, neat, and clean. I will definitely be recommending this Company to family and friends.

Canovas Roofing Inc. Is a top Quality family owned business. I found them through reference from a co worker who owns several properties.
After getting sever quotes from other Roofing companies, I see what set them apart from the others.
At the beginning was the site visit and the initial measurement. I was walked through the process from start to finish of what it takes for my type of roof replacement, 3-layers. (1949 Original wood shake and two layers of composition style).
I was shown the replacement materials used and explained the other roof components like the venting to keep the internal attic cool. There itemized quote was very reasonable priced which included the cost for the city permit which gives piece of mind that your roof is up to code by the city.(no short cuts). There is always unforseen items that come up like bad wood that needs replacement. With your itemized quote you will know how much the replacement cost is upfront for the price per foot of facia, rafters, or other wood type. Canovvas will be communicating the entire time with multiple photos from start to finish. The other is Canovas Roofing also installs attic insulation. A roof tear off can be quite messy and dusty like mine, no way around it. One thing I would recommend if you can fit it in your budget, have insulation installed. This will save you money in the long run for sure. Best added investment.

I did have rain gutters at the start that had been installed for over 20 years on the edge of the roof that were still operational, but would have not been a great fit for the reinstall.
We decided to get some new ones,
I'm really glad I did. Rain gutters are not for everybody, but it worked out for me. I wouldn't hurt to get a quote. They are not in business to upsell or pressure you into something you don't need.

Start to finish a 10/10 review! I researched several local roofing companies and received 8 diverse estimates when I started looking for the best company to replace our roof. Abraham, with Canovas Roofing, stood out above the rest. He is passionate and proud of his company and the work that they do for their customers. I knew by his initial presentation that he was the best person to go with. I was hesitant to sign a contract with him though because he doesn’t have many online reviews. I am so happy that I trusted my instinct about his character and professionalism.

He is extremely respectful and has excellent manners. He is the only person that brought product samples and pamphlets explaining the different options available to me. He is very knowledgeable and patient. I had an over abundance of questions for him and he never made me feel like he didn’t have time to explain the answers.

I like that he is conservative with his time approximations to complete the job. He began the project as soon as he could in between the rain. I had a busy week and was able to trust them to handle everything without any of my assistance. He walked us through the process for necessary forms that needed to be filled out for the permit. Everything went through great without any issues from the city. Our job was inspected with no notes added from the inspector for corrections.

Abraham is honest, dependable and fair. His prices are competitive with other companies. It wasn’t the cheapest estimate but it wasn’t the highest either. He isn’t trying to price gouge you. He genuinely cares about his customers and the work that he does for them.

It was a messy job removing 3 layers of roofing material from a second story unit. Abraham and the men that he was with, worked three long days to complete the job. He sent me pictures during the week of their progress. We just had more rain and everything held up without any issues. My roof is beautiful! It looks like it was replaced with pride and care. Yes - talk about responsive! Another roofer was a no-show for a repair at my condo building the day before rain and Abraham came to the rescue at 9:00 at night! Quality work - they clearly know what they are doing and do excellent work. My building has used him more than once over the years. Professional and great to work with.

Canovas Roofing repaired my roof after having removed 2 heater vents. They also sealed the roof around the new power mast that was installed with an electrical panel upgrade. It passed city inspection. The facia boards and the wood covering underneath the eaves were sanded/replaced and painted. They look like new! New rain gutters and downspouts were also installed. The work was done carefully and with craftsmanship. The price was very reasonable. The entire crew was professional and kept cleaned the work area clean at the end of the day. I highly recommend Abraham and Canovas Roofing.

Canovas roofing was recommended to me by a colleague at work who used them for roof repairs. I called and got a quick response for a free estimate which seemed very reasonable. My roof was leaking in some spots and they identified the problem and the fix to stop the leaks and fix all the areas of the roof that needed repair.
